CO hasnt been active on geocaching site since october 2013 cache has definately gone.
Return visit and more thorough search, no sign. Needs checking. Been too long.
A whole heap of DNF's and what looks like an inactive CO
We sure couldn't find it after a good search before we realized and looked at recent logs
Out on a caching adventure with some of the Geelong/Lara crew to grab a few smileys before another Flash Mob in Geelong

Not a very good description of location or of geocache. May need to be checked incase weather has altered location
Last weekend I noted that I had found this cache. That is NOT the case, I actually found the Botanica Springs Entrance set by the two wanders. This log needs to be amended.
Was in a bit of a hurry so didn't spend a long time looking. Unfortunately for me, no luck today. Will bring the geokid back next time as he would look less conspicuous.
Out with the 2 wanderers on a caching day. Thought we would check this one out. Cache is at the GZ location and in tact. With the help of the 2 wanderers we replaced the log and put a new one in. Took nothing else. SL. TFTC

On approach to this one there was some young muggles sitting not too far away, however far enough. Once at GZ a quick glance had me spotting the cache out of view from muggle traffic but open and contents exposed. So retgrabbing the cache and contents the log book was signed and this time sealed and hidden from view as intended.

Find # 3486
Streak: 149 days
I was out and about today with my caching mate SedgwickDave. The main mission was to attend the Intervening Days VI event and also to find as many caches North of the Western Freeway (M8) as possible.
We thought we were going to be muggled out as there were two girls walking ahead of us and took a seat where I guessed GZ was goinf to be. Dave was determined to give it a go, so using his best ninja skills walked to GZ where he found a cache open and spread on the ground. He signed the log and returned the cache where it should be.
Thanks to ausdynamix for the cache. TNLN

We went down to this cache today and it is certainly gone so we took the liberty of replacing this cache. We are pretty sure the CO doesn't cache now so will keep an eye on this one to keep this cache going in Melton. It is still at the above co-ords.
I will contact the Ump about what I've done. We found this cache ages ago so know where it was or should have been.

Noticed this one was up and running again so headed out today to find it, we had tried for this one before without any luck but today we were lucky. We wanted to get one on the 13/7/2013 and we did it.

searched around, and under bridge. along rails in grass and around logs... no sign of cache
hope someone has not taken it ... will try another time in a few days

Some kids cleared off as I approached, a really easy find and then off I went down south to the train line.
On the way to the local grocery shops after a Lazy sunday of caching which quicly escalated to an insane 22 cache finds, we decided to make a short detour to pick up some caches in Botanica Springs. A very quick grab, cahce seemed to have migrated to a plain view sight, replaced behind some bridge structure, TFTC
Nice easy find. Amazing that there's a swimming pool here. I can't believe how far out this area has developed. I still remember when brookfield was brand new. The park and creek walking areas are well maintained.
Found today in the company of dutch frangipani during a blitz of Melton. The log book is a bit moist and might need replacing.
Great little area for the locals to enjoy
Thanks for the cache ausdynamix

This was, cache # 16 of 24 finds for the day, in the company of Trailrunning, we had been chating and texting for some time now regarding caching but never met, so tonight we finally teamed up and went caching, we had a great night with lots of laughs along the way. Second cache in a row that was just sitting there in the open. My thanks to ausdynamix for the cache.
The usual TDC cache grab had been put on hold for a week, so I was looking at doing a solo run when I remembered I had a rain check promise with the legendary RebelActs to go on an evening caching run during the school holidays at some stage in the future. Well tonight was the night. We met at Glen Waverley and were soon moving west to Melton. It’s hard to find locations close to either of us where we haven’t already cleared out the area, so the Melton area was easily accessible and fruitful enough for us both. In all we visited about 33 locations with only two DNF’s, one DNA, and 1 very flat tyre. All in all it was a great night out. I finally got to meet RebelActs after corresponding and talking for such a long time and never actually caching together!
This was a very easy find, as it was clearly exposed for all to see. thanks.

Visiting close by so, I could hardly drive past and leave it. A quick pick up, once there was a break in the muggle traffic. Log book, is quite damp, but nevertheless it was signed. An enjoyable area to stop by for a smiley. Thanks to ausdynamix.

a very quick find because I wasn't expecting the hint to actually to tell me exactly where it is.
The only thing that slowed me down was the I wasn't sure if Left meant looking onto the bridge or off the bridge.
I did look under the bridge and saw that kids had been here and then I feared the worst. But another quick search had me signing the log book.
It is a nice little park.
Thanks very much for bringing me here.
Cheers

Had a roundabout drive to get here, what with the roadworks nearby.....
I was surprised at how nice this spot is. Water and bird life... Didn't expect it.
Wasn't too hard to find. Interesting hint, from what viewpoint is it on the left?? Looking east or west!!!

Nice little place and a nice little walk.
Cache was very easy to spot and possibly a little too obvious, but it was in very good condition.
Many thanks for the cache

Not sure why my log didn't complete, so will try again. This was an interesting log and challenged my abilities. Still think someone had taken it, as it was an easy find. Had been there three times and nothing. TFTC and if it was returned between my visit, thanks for the return. Wordyalot USA

Fortunately, the other people near here were out of sight of my search... one of those finds that took longer than it should have to locate.

Found at 1:15 p.m. Right near my home. Have just started geocaching so was pretty excited. This was my second find in half an hour! Thanks ausdynamic.
Found at 10:21. This is a nice new area and would be a busy little place around spring with all the locals using the facitilties. Nice quick grab to get our total of 6 before heading off for one last one. TFTC TNLNSL
We had a small spare sistema container so put ziplock bag in it and added a few more items. Good hide, had to be careful of muggles walking in area on a lovely sunny afternoon. We made sure cache was well hidden again. We had not been to this nice area before and we were amazed at how much Melton is expanding! [^] TFTC ausdyamix
Found him easily, if the cache is a plastic bag, then all is OK. If not, then it has been pinched. Thank you ausdynamix.

Nice quick find! Did have an idea as to were it would be, but it did take a few minutes to locate! Not a soul around here today with the exception of two yapping ferrets. I mean small dogs!
A nice little park area! Had a brother who lived around here for a little while a few years ago! None of this was here then!
Took: Nothing

A very nice hide - well executed.
Upon walking towards GZ it was obvious where the hide would be BUT no so easy to spot. Tucked away nicely and made easy to get too.
Thx for the hide ausdynamix

Had a look for this cache a few weeks ago with my daughter & friend who owned a GPS, didn't have any luck, but today went back with The 2 Wanderers and I found
the cache tucked away. So I have found it!! This is fun, especially when you have luck.

Absolutely deserted around here today, I can imagine that at certain times it must get very busy around here.
We had a vague idea where the cache might be, but had to get down closer to confirm.
we could see where it was, so we quickly retrieved the cache.

Following the noise and chat of the Intervening Days event, this was a very peaceful spot. Even the people using the tennis courts were very quiet.

Found today after Intervening Days IV on a caching run with Rabbitto and The 2 Wanderers. Last find for the day before heading to Maccas for a hot chocolate then home. SL TFTC Last time I was anywhere near this area the closest building was the Christian School and that was only 2 portables then...boy has this area grown!
We found this cache at 7:15pm as the final of 24 on our Intervening Days IV - Melton Cache Day in company of Kinkell1 and The 2 Wanderers. At least this one had a nice bridge to cross the creek. After the find, we all retired to Maccas for hot chocolates and coffees after a nice day out. Thanks from D & HA B-A.

Took agers to find as I stood around for agers and waited for a pair of young teenagers on the playground to leave. They didn't so I drifted over to gz and sat down with the gf trying to look like I was relaxing, found it and logged and finally got out of there
