Along with previous searchers, we couldn't find it although found the location. Is it still there?
Went back for a second look, but couldn't find it. Coordinates put us in a place and we looked -- a la the hint, but still couldn't find. First time we looked, a couple was camping behind the building (!) which was quite a surprise.
We searched everywhere? I stood on the coordinates and no luck. Was not about to crawl under the building.
No luck. Although I was reading the hint from a different cache so that didn't help! Will try again next year when back in Mapua.
Wow that was a hard stretch for this one handed cacher! Managed to get before muggle kids ran in the building. The lid is missing but cache is dry. Thanks
Quick find after a trip to the wharf. The cache is missing its lid but seems intact. Thanks for the hide.
I called here at the beginning of 2012 but the cache must have been missing then as I couldn't find it. A very quick find this time in the first place I looked thanks to good accurate coordinates. Signed log, TFTC
Today I Went for the 100 caches in 1 day. With a very early morning and just breaking even at lunch time with 50, it looked like it was going to be 12am to 12pm. But after a move out of the city they started to speed up, and i managed to grab the last at 20:30 with 106!! Thanks everyone for the caches that they have placed, from the ones that have been planed for months to the park and grabs
Kitty! and I both recall the original location. Nice to join the dots and complete the circle. Tftc
Found on a great days caching with KiwifruitsNZ covering Richmond to Ruby Bay. I so remember this hall in it's prior location having had my boys got through the scouting movement. Nice cache hide. TFTC
Sent boys off to do this one, before relaxing for a well deserved afternoon tea stop at nearby cafe....(oh those vanilla slices !). Must have been a very simple find because the boy was back before I could eat his half.

We thought there were going to be too many muggles about but when we got to GZ there was just one chicken watching us.
Found as part of a geocaching trip to and around Nelson. TFTC! Found on 27/8/2012 (but forgot to log the caches from this trip at the time!)
TFTC. What a funny story of a walking building when usually it is the cache. Luckily I foud both together today on a bright sunny Nelson day.
Last time we called by here the hall was in use so no chance to look for the cache. Tonight it was all in darkness so we grabbed the opportunity while we could. A short walk in from the road and the cache was soon in hand. Great story about this hall too. TFTC.
I'll remember this one for some time! Last time trying to do the stealth approach in the dark sloshing through mud and then finding premises were occupied. A better approach became apparent in our retreat which we followed tonight. Total darkness, no muggles and simple find. TFTC
Lots of muggle places all around but all quite today so had the place to myself
Fortunately the few youngsters in the park were well out of site. A quick find.
On spot for cache but too many pre-schoolers around for an old man to be around. Will return to log.
Yes, indeed - Gotcha!! Scouthalls bring back memories all good. Great to see that it is still going strong, TFTC.
Called by for a quick cache on our way out to dinner in Mapua tonight. A very familiar building. Nice sleuthing Mr B.

Out for a days adventures whilst on holiday in Richmond (before the forecast rain). Mr G spent his early years in Mapua...gosh it's changed a lot! Quick find. Thanks.

Loved the story behind the cache placment, had a bit of a giggle about as we located the cache. Fortunately we were up and about quite early so no muggle issues at GZ. TFTC

So that's where the hall went! The hidden Rovers room with its secret door is no longer so well hidden, that was always the greatest bit of this hall and now no longer. Sad really, such is life. Cheers
Having done the last cache hidden under this building this does count a separate find eh? I remember the last cache being a 200ml container however.
Hahaha! Yep - that's a novel way to loose your cache. Glad you found the building again. And we found the cache too. TFTC
Interesting story how the cache got here! We've had cache locations muggled too, but never been able to see where they went. Unusual to see no one here today on a perfect bowling day.
Quick find before the kindergarten kids showed up. I now gotcha right back. Thanks for the cache =)
6684 Gotcha! Am sure we have seen this Scout Hall somewhere before. Nice tribute, TFTC.
#3 in Mapua today after just doing 'Bowled Over'. Oh look... the new Bowling club..I wonder if they built this with help from the guys who built the new 'house' on their old grounds?? Now I definitely will not be able to boil the kettle without thinking about it !! anyway the cache...loved the story on this one..awesome...the house getting muggled...priceless!!
Found without too much trouble.

Second time I have found a cache under here - well sort of. I didn't realise there was such a big space in behind here. Found just on dusk. . TFTC.
