Needs looking at.

Found at 16:07
I walked in to this spot from the wrong side and it wasn't til I had gone the whole way around that I found the east way in. A quick find once at gz with the cache slightly exposed so I covered it up a bit better when I left.
Thanks 80degrees for the cache.

24-Feb-14
Amazing how busy this area is, even at 7:00 in the evening.
Waited out the muggles and made a quick find.

Dodged muggle outdoor exercise class nearby. Very distracted by the coach's yells but found it eventually. Less mural gazing for me next time.

Found it!

01-Feb-14
Really interesting spot. Thanks for placing the cache in this location. Quick find, but a good one.

As for the art work... it was alright. Didn't pay it as much attention as i should have as i was avoiding snakes and glass. Actually had planned on wearing my thongs, but had to return to car to change into shoes to avoid the hazards.

Cheers for the Cache!

31-Jan-14
Was out caching after dropping the family at the cricket and ended up over here. Was an easy find. Hanks for bringing me to this place. I have always been fascinated by industry that is no longer there. Thanks again for the cache. Took TB.

26-Jan-14
In the area so did a check of this one and dropped off a TB to continue its travels.

22-Jan-14
Found it on this hot summers day

14-Dec-13
What a neat place! Followed the trail and the hint for a quick find. Dropped off a traveller.

06-Dec-13
Work had me in the area today so cache hunting it was.

I made a little harder work of this than needed to.

Round and round in circles I went with no joy.

Eventually I found it after walking past about 15 times.

11-Nov-13
Odd little place, found the cache pretty easily. Thanks Smile

Nice old place, looked like an old look out. Would have been nice when it was done up. TFTC!

Checked on this one today while in the neighbourhood. All okay

30-Sep-13
Took the kids out for a spot of early evening hide'n'seek. Found this one quickly. But mystified by the structure itself. Watch your footing!

20-Sep-13
Nice quick drive by tonight. Tftc

13-Sep-13
I took a bit of roundabout journey to reach this one, but once I'd reached GZ I found the cache easily enough. This was a bit of an odd location - industry meets nature next to a brand new gymnasium lit by the artificial lighting from the nearby sporting ground. Thanks for the cache 80degrees.

02-Sep-13
I definitely was not expecting this structure as I emerged from the trees following my GPS. how very obscure and interesting.. I looked eagerly to the cache notes for information, but alas, the answer was not so easy to uncover. After repositioning myself I found the cache and enjoyed the view before moving on.
Thanks for pointing this out to me 80degrees

31-Aug-13
I had been to the "31st on the 31st" event organised by Iamapom and was finding a few caches as I made my way home. One more cache I would be able to give a Favourite Point to one the caches in my queue.

This cache looked like it would be straight forward and so it turned out to be. The only real thing that puzzled me was why the particular construction was ever constructed in the first place. Oh well, I will probably never know...not that it really matters, the important things is that I found the cache.

Thanks to 80degrees for the cache and it was good to meet up with you today.

21-Aug-13
After finishing my jobs at 12.30pm and ending up in Ivanhoe I decided to grab some of the local caches as I don't get up this way much, the weather was good for a winters day so I found about 12 or so caches for the afternoon. Sl Thanks 80degrees for the cache.

19-Aug-13
Geopartner sprinted straight to it like it had a beacon. Third find for the day (/15 minutes)

Find #590

Took a little while to get ot this one, mainly traffic negotiating.

Upon arriving near ground zero I correctly guessed the wrong approach as per usual which ensured a longer search.

Of course it was in the last place I looked.

Confucius says, once you find it, stop looking.

Thanks for the cache and the fun!

04-Jul-13
Found this one today. I admit that I have been here a few times previously both by myself and with Irontoad with no luck. Today I was determined to find this one tonight and there was the cache in the third place that I looked. It is always useful to look in the right place in order to find the cache. Signed log but didn't swap anything today. Of note - I don't like the wall opposite I think it is more graffiti than graffiti art.

Thanks for the cache 80degrees.

02-Jul-13
I dropped by this cache after lunch nearby with a friend. Once I'd found the way up onto the construction Red Face I had a bit of a look around and easily spotted the cache container as it was partially exposed. I signed the log at 2:40pm, then returned the cache to its hiding spot and tried to cover it a bit better. TNLN.

Thanks 80degrees for the interesting caching experience. Even though I travel down Darebin Rd from time to time, I would never have seen this unusual construction but for this cache. I'm not sure whether the mural is graffiti or art but it's a very creative piece nevertheless. Cool

Found at 11.45 on a breezy Monday morning.
Tool a few minutes to locate the sneaky hide but find it we did.

Enjoyed the mural and noted the walking trail nearby.
Many thanks to 80 degrees for the hide.

Thanks for the great 80degrees cache. Only took a little while to find but an interesting area. Loved the graffiti. Thanks again for the great cache and good luck to other geocachers out there. PIPPAESP

dropped in on the way home from work parked close nice easy find thanks

14-Apr-13
A rather quick find. I did expect more for an 80degrees cache.. I loved the graffiti in thw area. Some people are just naturals. What exactly was this structure we were standing on? A little slippery when wet but an easy cache to hand. Tftc

02-Apr-13
Went up a different ramp. Success anyway.

31-Mar-13
Our first cache was lots of fun. Thank you!

28-Mar-13
What an interesting street murial! Nice quick little trek to the cache. It looks like a favourite park for walking dogs!

22-Mar-13
Not what I expected from an 80degrees cache, but a cute little hide that I initially overlooked. Thanks once again!

19-Mar-13
Took GeoK9 walking after business hours and few muggles made for a stress free hunt and reasonably fast find. SL, TNLN, TFTC!

23-Feb-13
Found 11:56am , find # 1917
Today was the prestigious Victorian Cache Awards for 2012 event.
I gave Lemmykc a lift, and we scored a few caches in the area on our way to the event.
This was the 3rd find of 6 for the day.
After a bit of a detour around the elevated area, the cache was found.
I retrieved a nice geocoin
Thanks 80degrees.

23-Feb-13
Found by Mary & David at 1540. It always seems a shame to go straight home after an event, so we had a few caches lined up to do en route. We're not too familiar with this area, so enjoyed looking around as we drove from cache to cache. Parked close by and made our way to GZ. Found the cache after a short search, then looked across at the "art". Not at all to our taste - just another wall covered in graffiti. Our thanks to 80degrees.

Sneaking around the back of the industrial estate gave us another opportunity to admire more of Melbourne's wall art as well as add our name to the cache log.

#225 TFTC... had a bit of a poke about with not much luck, was expecting it to be magnetic, but no. Had a read through the logs for a bit of a clue and found it quite quickly after that. Dopped off GC Wink

30-Jan-13
What an interesting spot, I still couldn't work out what it was made for.
This took me longer than expected to find, I followed the clue and ended up far too left, in addition the GPS didn't want to settle on any one spot. Eventually found the well sized cache in it's well positioned hide. This was the first cache where I've actually seen logs of people injured and even hospitalized, so I took some care to only step where there was solid ground. While searching up-top, a muggle approached the bottom of the concrete pillars - I have no idea if this location/area has any reputation for weirdness - but I quickly walked away when he started to undo his pants!

11-Jan-13
TFTC. It is in good shape and straight forward to find. Cache is in good shape.

01-Jan-13
Had some business nearby but decided to take geodog for a walk to wait for the peak hour/s to die down. First for the day. Easy find. TFTC.

28-Dec-12
Easily found. Nice bush in this area so a bit disappointed to find this next to a lot of rubbish.

18-Dec-12
Interesting spot. Walk past here every day almost. Didn't even know that existed!

18-Dec-12
Found @ 20:50 after visiting a friend nearby. I walked from my friend's place along the bike path to GZ area. After scouting the area I changed perspective and scouted some more. Before I narrowed down the location I managed to fall into a hole after the ground gave way underneath me. The nett result is a nasty gash up my left leg. But that's not going to stop me.
I soon found the container and made my mark and saw that someone has been there before me today.
Took nothing, left nothing, signed log and visited some trackables.
Thanks for the cache 80degrees

WARNING!
The area around the edges of GZ is unstable and visibility is obscured by grass.

12-Dec-12
This cache had become a bit of a nemesis for me, not because it was a hard find but because the first time I attempted this one I fell (watch your step folks, there are some very, very deep holes here...) which resulted in me spending the night in the local emergency room and exiting it feeling rather sorry for myself on crutches. Found it this time without falling and signed the log and got out here. Interesting area but given my history with it I will be glad to never return!! Found a path tag also this time which made it better again. Good cache, interesting area and my best caching injury yet!

12-Dec-12
Found after attending the nearby 12/12/12 event, where I chatted to the co-COs. But we didn't talk about this hide. In fact, I'd parked my car next to it after driving up from Camberwell Jn in the heat, with the intention of riding my bike to the event and collecting unfound caches along the way. But the traffic was horrendous, I got there later than I intended, so beetled up straight away to the event. Therefore, rather than the first of my evening, this cache was the last I attempted in the dark, using my bike light as a torch.

What's this place about?? It's a really strange construction. Warning: if you go up top, there is a hole to the left covered in grass that you can literally fall inside. I hurt myself a bit as I did go into it, banged my knew on the way down and did the splitz before gathering myself back up. At first I was looking for the wrong kind of container, but then stumbled upon the hide quite accidentally. Thanks for the adventure, 80degrees! After this find, it was bike on car, out of the lycra and off to burger and beers.

23-Nov-12
Found on a visit to Melbourne to see the latest addition to our family so this became baby Hamish's first cache. It was interesting to see another prominent South Australian cacher's mark in the log from just two days before. Thanks 80degrees.

22-Nov-12
It was more fun climbing up the awkward way than just walking up the conventional way.
Thanks!

21-Nov-12
The reason behind the structure the cache is located on is interesting and had me puzzled.

Thanks for the cache 80degrees.

17-Nov-12
This was an unusual structure, I am intrigued as to what it actually was. After circling around I proceeded up and soon spotted the container. Thanks to 80degrees for the cache.

Rapunzel was on the scent of this one. Interesting structure. TFTC

Another easy find today in a quiet and secluded part of the suburb.

04-Nov-12
Of course I followed my GPSr and took the hard way up rather than using my eyeballs to look for the obvious easy way. Then the container took me way too long to find but I got it in the end. This was a really interesting structure, thanks for bringing me here.

29-Oct-12
Co-ords had me going around in circles for a bit. Found after 5 minutes. Yes, it is art, and the fact that we are talking about it means it has served its purpose!

26-Oct-12
# 2004. Out riding in the area with Robmc today. So many bike paths and weren't sure we were on the right level for this one. Rob had done it previously and was surprised that it was in a new place but I see from reading the cache page that it has been moved. An interesting set-up with those huge concrete pipes? filled with soil and supporting what? A ramp to nowhere!! What was it in the past? Rob walked past the hide a few times before I found it. TFTC 80degrees

13-Oct-12
With a wheelchair attribute I was hoping for something a bit more sedate. Nice to find a small cache since I've found mainly micros in my few days in Melbourne. Thanks for the cache.

13-Oct-12
Yes,it's a easy one.thanks

07-Oct-12
Scrambled up and looked around at a likely spot before a car rolled up and Mr Muggle fiddled around for too long making me wait. Finally he left, and I looked some more. Then stopped and thought where else could this be? Looked around and there was the likely camo hiding this nicely sized cache.

Thanks for this one, 80degrees. Coincidentally, I collected Tally-Ho Lake just the other day. You do hide them far and wide!

Took a few friends to introduce them to geocacheing. Very impressed with the speediness of the owner to replace logbook! (Still no pen/pencil though)... I really need to get into the habit of bringing one! What a rookie!

Great spot! FYI for 'geocacher' log book is full! I couldn't leave a log entry (also because I didn't have a pen!)

Nice little spot! Found easily with jimmytherat on our sunday morning stroll! Unfortunately no pen & we seemed to have lost ours. Left a red chip instead! Cache needs a new log book.??

07-Aug-12
I think it's art.
I took a photo of this a while ago when I was searching here and sent it off to a magazine. It was an industry mag' and it was show the airconditioning unit on the wall how it was incorporated into the graffiti.
I hate graffiti and don't approve of this.... but yeh....it's art and I sure as hell couldn't do it.
A nice quick find this time. 2 of us spent about 20 mins searching back in March and we couldn't find it then. I don't know if it's been moved since then, though I don't recall looking here.
I'm sure I was looking for something a bit different last time.
Thanks 80degrees.
Cheers

Fourteenth of Twenty One finds for the the afternoon, I found this one in the company of Gaga66, Jacimarble, Bexta, Datruk and Nufrat, Now known as the Facebook Assault team. Ok so we should have taken that way and not the way we took, this was soon hand and we were off again. Thanks 80degrees for the cache.

21-Jul-12
I did a lap of the structure, read some vital clues and then got into the right area. A bit of poking about uncovered the cache, it was a bit of fun clambering around on the old tanks.

Found @1508 #1704
On another afternoon mini cache run with caching partner in crime Ahomburg. Today's focus was the A-Z Challenge cache and explore an area of Melbourne I have not yet been to before.

This region on Melbourne has quite a few caches from the map and an area that I have been keen to visit for some time. This was one took a couple of minutes to locate after initially thinking it was hidden somewhere else near by. But after expanding the grid the clever hide was finally spotted. A nice area. I wonder what GZ was originally used for? A fun hide. The artwork near by is interesting... TFTC 80degrees and thanks for binging me here.

Find # 1875

On a mini caching run today with my caching partner in crime sedgwickDave. We planned to head towards the Ivanhoe area and the A - Z Challenge.

The GPS had us searching in totally the wrong area today with no luck, so we expanded the grid, me nearly slipping through one of the gaps in the process and soon after I heard "Found It" and the cache was found.

Thanks to 80degrees for the cache. TNLN

07-May-12
thanks found after a bit of hunting. And yes its art!

17-Apr-12
Thought this was a bit of a strange place for a cache with all the lovely parkland so close by, but I guess you have to be here to see the "artwork". I can appreciate the art in some of these pieces but I'd rather it wasn't sprayed randomly around peoples property.... Call me old fashioned but that's how I feel. TFTC

15-Apr-12
Had car cleaned at nearby car wash and dropped in briefly to see if we could find this one. Took 5 mins. Thanks!
