As this cache has been out of action for too long, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.

Hi
It appears that this cache has been inactive for quite some time. Is it going to be replaced or should it be archived to make room for possible future caches? If the cache owner does not contact me within Three Weeks, I'll assume the cache needs to be archived.
While I feel that Geocaching.com should hold the location for you and block other cachers from entering the area around this cache for a reasonable amount of time, we can't do so forever. Please either repair/replace this cache, or archive it so that someone else can place a cache in the area, and geocachers can once again enjoy visiting this location. Also, if you haven’t done so already, please pick up any remaining cache bits as soon as possible.
I want to thank you for the time that you have taken to contribute to geocaching in the past and am looking forward to seeing your cache up and running in the future.
Thanks for your understanding,
Regards,

So many people around, even at 7pm. Managed to grab and put back without being noticed too much.
We stopped here on our way north to fill up on groceries. When I checked the geocaching app I was surprised: there was a cache 50 metres away! So I got this one. It's nicely done.
Thank you for the cache.
Thank you for the cache.
We nearly did not attempt this one with a campervan parked right by GZ. Luckily it was a quick find. TFTC
Found after visiting the nearby award winning pie shop. A good pie and a cache found so all is well!
On a 10 day holiday of the North Island of NZ visiting from Australia sl thanks for the cache.
Found it on an afternoon out. This one popped out and hit me in the head! Particularly funny when I was trying to be discrete. It wasn't on the sign I thought too.
Decided to tag-along with my parents on a roadtrip from Auckland to Tauranga, as they had to bring 2 dogs down to have their hips and elbows x-rayed. Knowing we'd have a couple of hours to kill, I managed to convince my parents to let me find a few caches, in particular the webcam at the end of the port.
We had dropped the dogs off at the vet up the road and had stopped to have breakfast, and meet up with a friend of mum's who lived in the area, at Palmers. The friend we were meeting was running late, and me being impatient as I usually am, decided to go off and find the closest geocaches while they waited.
Walked over here, enjoying the beautiful weather and ended up overshooting GZ as I was heading for the next hint item. Backtracked to the correct location and noticed something that looked suspect. Was playing Pokemon GO as I stood there removing the cache from it's hiding location, to detract attention from what I was doing. Managed to extract the cache, sign it and replace without anyone the wiser. Thanks for the clever cache.

Ran out of eggs this morning so took a stroll up to countdown and did a couple of caches on the way. Saw the sign as I turned the corner then watched with irritation as an RV pulled beside it and parked. Fortunately they got out and started messing around in the back so I was able to make a quick grab and sign the log. Bought my eggs (free range of course) then set off for home. TFTC!
Last cache for the year and a good one to end the year on. [^] A late night park and an easy find. Spotted the potential hide on approach having nearly parked almost alongside. A quick check and the suspicions were confirmed - it is a cache!
Used the light of the car to sign the log and then returned as found. Giving a FP for the clever hide and for being my last cache of the year. Thankyou

It still is there! Very creative and it had me fooled at first (: thank you for the replacement, don't expect it to get mugged either
If the sign was on here, then it has now been moved and so has the cache, not many other places the cache could be (:
This cache has been inactive for a while, although faint traces of the original holder remain and the CO has given permission to log as found (see earlier logs). I visited yesterday and had an idea for a new cache in this location. A bit of construction and I placed it today. It's about 2 metres away horizontally from the original cache but it's a different style of hide. I hope this is OK with the CO. Please don't hesitate to contact me.
Have found this before, but had another look for this one and couldn't find any sign of it. I don't think it's there. Hasn't been found in a while. Maybe needs replacing?
VERY PLEASED YET SO HARD TO FIND AND MY BRO AWHETO FOUND IT AND HE WAS LIKE USING HIS TEETH AND STUFF SO IF YOU CAN MAKE DAT BETTER DEN DAT WOULD MAKE IT BETTER FOR ALL OF US FANK YOU
Having found the nearby cache, had a look for this one as well despite the previous logs indicating the cache was gone but the container still there. Currently there is nothing at all on the sign poles.
I would suggest given there is no cache or container here and has not been here for a while that it should be disabled until all is sorted.

Mother hubbarb went the cupboard but the cupboard was bare..... as per other logs not log book

As per reading previous logs, cache is missing. Logging as per owners permission.
Found it - kind of. Not there now, not even the holder. Could tell where is was supposed to be from the marks on the post. Clues were all good. Thanks
The GPS lead me to this cache but all that was to be seen was cleaner paintwork and dark lines where it was attached, I think. Looking forward to writing in the log when replaced.
As per the spoiler photo 30/01/2016 this is the cache holder
Thank you to Skemp3 for posting it.
I will replace the cache but if anyone finds it I am happy for you to log it as found as I am unsure when I will fix it.
Flippaduck.

Found at second sign I looked at. The log is a bit damp and in a sorry state. New one needed. Good hide. Thanks.
This was one of nearly eighty Geocaches I found in the company of HKCB and 11hpg11, we signed the log HI1, an anachronism made up of the first initials of our Geocaching handles to save on log space. This was our second trip to the Bay of Plenty. A few weeks ago we conquered The Mount and Papamoa and were back today on another infamous mad mission. We left Hamilton at 4:30 am and I was back at home in time to read my two boys a story and tuck them into bed at 7:30pm. We had a fun day exploring the area and got to see lots of parts of the area we hadn’t experienced before. A big thanks to all the cache owners who took the time and effort to place so many high quality and well maintained hides. Thanks also to HKCB for organising the day and driving. I think it was fitting to undertake these trips during the ‘Geocaching Road trip’ Groundspeak promotion, as it typified all those things that make a good road trip, most importantly good company. There were plenty of laughs and some memorable shenanigans.
Most of the shops in the area were closed being that is was Sunday and still fairly early in the morning so we didn't have to contend with many muggles which ensured a quick find.

Another all day mission with 11HPG11 and iammrwalk, this time focusing on the other side of Tauranga. I had just finished logging the all the caches we had found in Papamoa when I looked at the map and thought why not have a crack at the other side as well!
A early start as we were on the road at 4.30am as we needed to be back not to late otherwise we'd be in the dog box when we got back home. Another fantastic day out with lots of the usual laughter and this time the weather was much better behaved. In total over 80 finds, with only a couple of DNF's and we got back in time to stay out of the dog boxes, just!
We signed the log books with Hi1, an acronym of our caching handles. A big thanks to all the CO's for all the placements, and for taking us to places we hadn't been before.
Still nice and quiet here this morning, which allowed us to make the find without any issues at all. Thanks for the neat hide.

Thanks Flippaduck....Haven't seen one quite like this ! Good to find some caches near this Shopping Centre I was keen to look at Wild South as we don't have one in Auckland ! On our way to Tauranga !
Another great find of the series, not at all looking suspicious in a car park hanging around a sign in daylight lol, tftc
Heading to a certain birthday function in a cave with Kiwi69. In the area so stopped off for me to find this one. Quick find in the dark and not many muggles yay
22 April 2015 Found while waiting for the geodad to get some bits from countdown. Miss 5 the geokid found it quickly. Log is pretty shabby needs replacing. Nice wee hide.
The first one I managed to find since I started looking in Tauranga. 1 out of 5 was not looking good. Thanks for one that I could find.
Had tried this one before but was in the complete wrong place, This time was a quick straight there. I did take the cache away with me as muggles showed up right next to me so I went and got an amazing pie at a award winning bakery near GZ. Ate my pie signed log and very ninja like returned the cache into its holder. Another one of the signs series ticked off. TFTC
Hitched a ride with Mr Kiwi from Hamilton this morning since he had a work appointment over this way. This was my first ever Tauranga cache - and the first time I tested out the umbrella I got for Christmas.
Soon had cache in hand, signed the dry log sheet and returned to holder with zero dramas. TFTC.

Out for a days caching with haydon family and cam3ron6, a quick grab while waiting for the others to arrive. tftc

Together with Silli1310 we headed for Rotorua today. Since we didn't only want to drive, we made a short stop every now and then to stretch our legs a little bit and search for one or two caches. Here we didn't have to search for a long time and we could sign the logbook. Many thanks for the cache.
On our [trip around the world](http://www.hoppundweg.piekar.de/) we came to New Zealand as well. We first visited the south Island, then we came to the north island. We searched many caches and found almost every cache we searched for . Thanks to all the owners of these caches. Now, 2 years later, we recognized, we will never be able to log every cache seperately... So: Sorry for this standard logtext and thanks for one of the caches, which accompanied us on our journey.
Found quickly and in good condition. A little sticky though - tree zap I think. Oh, and the log sheet has seen better days... and I certainly didn't help things.... It'll need replacing quite soon. TFTC, not too many of these ones to go.
Our first day in Omokoroa and we needed to go to Countdown for some supplies. While the others went in and made a start on the shopping, a friend and I decided to find this one. A car was parked right in front of the cache so that reduced the muggle factor. Found quickly once there. Signed log and replaced cache. TFTC Flippaduck!
Was waiting for the shoppers and saw this one. Well made little cache. Couldn't sign it as there was a camper parked right next to it with muggles on board. TFTH
Nice one to find, as we knew what we were looking for. Had to twiddle our thumbs a bit so we weren't noticed! Well done.
This takes a drive by to new level. Parked next to the appropriate sign and one of the juniors hopped out and nabbed the cache!
