Logs
This evening after dinner, I needed to take a drive north to Burpengary for a Gumtree errand, and with minimal rain about, I took a drive within the vicinity to pick up a few geocaches. There were a few nice reserves that I walked through under torchlight, and I managed to get caught by a passing rain cloud just as I was finishing off my plan of attack, so with a few last geocaches found, I called it a night to return home.
Whilst in the area, I did note this archived cache that I was pasting quite close to, so I thought I would give it a brief look. After reading the last few logs, I suspected what this cache or themed would be, so searching amongst the trees, I couldn't find anything that seemed to resemble a cache or that item. Given it has been eight years since this cache was last found, I suspect this spider hasn't survived, or maybe it has fallen into all the leaf/bark debris below. As there were no past gallery photos, it was hard to really focus on anything, so I declared defeat and moved on. Thanks anyway Treking Trev for the cache placement.

Logging this from a previous visit. Found without alerting the neighbours, TFTC
Came up and found this one before meeting up with my friend. I found the scary leggy container but no log.

cache find # 1604. We are staying in a nearby park with our caravan. Today this archived cache was on our list to try and locate. It was a hard to locate at first, and we tried to be stealth as the man across the road was talking on his phone in his driveway and we had to be quick when he turned around, we dove in and found the cache. There weren't any ants or log to sign, so we took a photo of the cache instead. TFTAC.
Out with Lady membsec to find just a few caches for the afternoon. We arrived here and had a quick search, then the muggle lady from over the road came out to ask us what we were doing Hmmm, maybe we should get out of here! We made a quick PAF as we didn't want to hang around for to much longer. With a better grasp on where the cache should be and what we should be looking for, I found it quickly. Oh dear, ants! and not just those annoying little ones, they were the big black bitey kind. There was no way of retrieving the actual cache so I took a photo for proof of find.
Thanks for the cache Treking Trev

Out and about with Nyssaflutterby chasing some archived caches. We noticed that this one was still around but very well hidden. The woman in the house across the road came out to see whether we needed help and we told her that we had dropped something, with that we didn't want to hang around for too long so a quick PAF confirmed our thoughts and while I searched in a different area Nyssa tried to get the log book but the cache was covered in ants. We took a photo of the cache and left not wanting the neighbour to get too suspicious of us. I wouldn't want it hanging on my Christmas Tree!

Tried for this one once before without luck, but as we were down Petrie way doing some maintenance decided to have another go.
Found really quick this time. Don't know how we missed it last time. As with Agap we found a swarm of ants have made there home inside the cache. After scaring as many as possible away, we were still unable to find the log.
Barb has a photo of the cache as evidence if CO requires proof.

After a joint FTF with Fangsoki, there was a joint discussion weather this nearby cache was still there.... so we headed on over, and after a short search the cache was found.... however, on trying to extract the log, a large contingent of angry ants emerged, so decided to take a photo of the container as proof of the find and the fact the cache is still there.
Thanks Treking Trev, great idea for a cache!

Well, that is just plain odd. I can't find Trekking Trev's still active caches, but this one is fine in place. The string could do with some repairing, but it's still fully active and happy to scare the hanukah out of me.
Log is still in good order too.

Good news for Treking Trev...the cache is still well and alive!! It took us a while before Mr Bushies2 found it, fantastic cache...still in top condition and in safe place. Thanks Treking Trev for the brilliant cache.
It appears form recent reports that this has been muggled and I don't have a rplacement so I'll have to archive it.
Found a lot of tinsel on the ground but no cache, didn't search for too long as felt too exposed.
Had a fair idea of what we should have been looking for here, but we weren't able to find it in our allotted time. Cheers Gav
Teehee . Great cache. The cover of a parked truck let us search in peace but Pagan quickly spotted it. Thanks Treking Trev
Quite a surprise. Ants had made home in cache. Sprayed and cleaned out. TNLN TFTC Thanks Treking Trev
0940hrs. A quick find in an area I wasn't sure about. Interesting cache and hide. I wonder what the neighbours must think. TFTCSL
Very quick find at 1010 as a goods train sped past. No neighbours around and no traffic. Interesting container and loved the green!. TFTC
What a great cache container (well the container that hides the cache container anyway). Great stuff.

DNF from us today: we just had a quick look and needed more time but didn't have more time AND there were some muggles about in the street.
First find for the day .. and had me looking for a bit. When I did find the beast, it was a misison to get said log - but I got there. An excellent little contianer. The cache was in good condition. TFTC Treking Trev
Found ok after a quick search luckily because we felt like we were being watched, but couldn't actually see anyone. Log was retrieved without trouble. Thanks TT
went looking for this one but couldnt turn down the street as it was closed off due to all the flooding. will try again another day.
Found by NIC By now our trev trek was becoming memorable. But this time we were calling him: Tricky Trev. Mr Truck driver was still parked at GZ and thought he needed to come out and make sure we weren't graffitti'ng the side of his rig..... SCARY SCARY - NIC couldn't even touch the cache! Thanks Tricky Treking Trev!
Some kind soul parked a rather large truck at gz.....no problems with retrieving the cache unseen.
The wee beastie handed over the cache without arguement.
Cache found dry and in perfect condition.
