I guess I must have had this on a list if caches I wanted to find, so I hadn’t noticed it was archived.
Well I figured I would wander over to the GZ anyway and see what I could find.
Didn’t find the main container, but I found the lid and a hair tie, took these to the rubbish bin to avoid them as geo-rubbish.
Seems doubtful the rest may be there anymore, but I suppose it’s possible!
Since I has found some of the container, I’ll put a ‘found it’ log, but if the CO wants I am happy to change it to “write note”, I’m
not fussed either way.
Really nice tree at GZ!

Not where was meant to be but we found it, was empty so we added a log and added a treasure
Don't know if I found this one. I saw a sistema container but nothing inside it.
Attempted to find with Vanjeans, whom found it at the listed coords last time. Today, the cache was under the biggest fallen, not where the coords take you. Log is not writeable either. TFTC
Took us a while to find this.
Lots of scratches later Miss D found it.
Log wet.
Thanks for cache

Lot a lot of previous finders , I couldn’t see the wood for the trees but then saw it in plain sight. Will rehide it better tftc
Brilliant spot! And such a long list! The cache was big enough for our Moose! Luis & Nina. x
Visiting family in Auckland for the school holidays. Collecting some local caches. No joy for us here.
After cycling across the fields to another cache we turned round and headed back to find this one.
We scrambled down to GZ, and whilst the assistant inspected the creek with his magnifying glass I had a search through the trees to no avail.
Returning to the top of the bank, I left the assistant atop a stump and slid back down, examining all the trees as per the hint.
After three checks I eventually discovered the cache, returning to the stump to sign the log as Chris and Bruno

Took us a while, have to climb around a bit. Kids were stoked when they finally found it!
Found! With the failing daylight at 9pm and phone torch. I added a swag item. The logbook needs replacing. Emerged from the bushes to somebodys very friendly husky
Nice quick find after doing the multicache nearby. The log needs replacing on both.
Took us forever to find, and got scratched by quite a few trees but we did it in the end - Arawhai Guides
Well that was a bit of an adventure. So thought j had found it several times but then phone would suddenly tell me o was 19 meters away after telling me just 1. Found a few great spots but no cache
Yea we Swiss guys found it by our second go..some coments here were a bit missleading..so we searched first on the wrong spot and Nöggi2 `s gps played crazy too!! It was wet inside ..we cleaned it and put some kid stuff in it. I think it needs a proper log book !!!
I'm from Switzerland and spend 4 months in New Zealand on vacation. This cache the second time after a long browsing the area but still found, thanks.
Tyfc. Log paper too tattered for writing on. Pukeko and rugby players spotted as well.
Out and about collecting some smiley faces this cloudy Sunday afternoon. Nice quick find. TFTC.
Looked for a good 20min but there’s a lot of weed growing and a large fresh dump of mulch where trees have been cut down so no luck this time
Thought it might be gone/buried/ destroyed with the recent trees chopped down, but it’s still in place. TFTC
After visiting Howick Historical Village we spent some time hunting some caches. This one took us a while as there seemed to be several possibilities and we checked them all before coming up with the find. TFTH KiwiLeon
When approached GZ seen a lot of work by the tree company here. Didn`t know what to expect. Especially after previous DNF log entry. But when arrived at GZ all was good. Cache is safe and is in good order. Left new piece of paper here as log book was missing. TFTC
Sunday morning, approached from the rugby side. Scratched around a few of the hint objects, and soon found. Container does seem solid, but log is wet, as previously noted. Passing jogger yonder the stream gave me that curious look, but otherwise all good. TFTC
Looked at this one a couple of months ago but it was the wrong side of the stream. Picked up a multi at the softball so slipped up here. Nice easy find. Log was too wet to sign. Needs a new dry log.
Log too wet to sign unfortunately, which was interesting as it seems well sealed in bag and container looked good.
Peaceful spot. Thanks.
Peaceful spot. Thanks.
After a bit of a walk down the path only to find we needed to be on the other side of the stream we doubled back. Mrs B didn't have suitable footwear for the really wet fields so wait while I grabbed the cache. Found easily enough but log is soaking wet and could not really be signed. Tucked back in place with a little more cover. TFTC.
Out with SethRaven and Panda0505 today chasing some caches for a Tufty challenge. This was on the way back to the car so thought we would drop in, took us a bit longer as hoped Panda would get to it quickly, his searching wan't quite as quick as the mother would have like so headed in after it, Panda did eventually beat me to it. Glad for another smilie. TFTC
Out today with Fencarrows and Panda0505 with the aim of gathering caches for a Tufty challenge. This was on our route back from another find so we just had to . . . . . thought the kids would've found it but my GPS was sending me in circles so Ms Fencarrows went in and then Panda0505 made the find. TFTC
Headed out this way with Merlot58 and Jag50. We managed to take the long way to the cache and made it much harder than it should have to find it (I blame the relentless rain). Got there in the end.
Got to the park and realised that sport was on. Managed to find a park and then after having captured a few caches made our way over here with Aiden29 and Merlot 58. We initially passed the cache but after backtracking carefully we managed to find our way down what was now a somewhat slippery steep track as the rain had well and truly set in.
Here for the World Masters 2017. Went to watch some baseball close to the cache. Quick easy find. TFTC.
Out for the morning with Merlot58 & Pazzabella. Merlot was onto it quickly here, and almost had the (rather damp) log signed by the time we arrived at GZ three steps behind her! Tftc
Thankfully we had sussed out which side of the creek we needed to be on and once we located the hint item a nice quick found was made
Reading the logs and studying her phone, Merlot58 made sure we went on the right side. Nice to have someone organised amongst our small pack tftc
I was a bit concerned upon reading the number of people who ended up on the wrong side of the stream since it looked obvious to me on the map but I trusted my phone and it led me to the right place. I like hides where you have to do a little scrambling, as long as it's not too much! TFTC
First time, went to wrong side of river -- despite looking like a nice piece of grass, we left completely covered in mud, and still had to go around. Well worth the effort, since this was a beautiful location. TNLNSL, TFTC!
Bit of an adventure to get this !
Was top of my "To Find " list for out East today ....as have done all the others here .
Then guess what....my compass took me to a street on wrong side of stream !
AND it was pouring with rain !
I was clutching an umbrella and a bag , and dipping one gumbooted foot in the rushing river to check the depth , when a lady called out from a posh house nearby " Are you Alright ? "
Turned round and saw a whole family gazing at me !
I mumbled something about looking for a bridge....couldn't hear a reply , and wandered back upstream ....
Was really pleased to see a "crossing" of sorts .....and was at gz not long after !
Phew ! Easy find and all signed off . Thanks KiwiLeon !

Was at my cousins christening today, so thought as I'd gotten there early we should go find a cache!
Having a little wander around Lloyd Elsmore park on this lovely winters day. Collected this one on the way past whilst heading to the final stage of the nearby multi. GPS struggled to settle down but Scotty soon noticed the most likely looking hint item and the hide was soon uncovered. TFTC
There was a lot of activity on the sports fields today with muggles everwhere but they were all either competing or focused on supporting their teams, enabling us to make the find unimpeded and unnoticed in this beautiful little piece of bush. TFTC
Took a wee detour on my way to work this morning and found myself here. Took the right path as well so not too much scrambling. Now, what does "falen" mean? Oh well, just search...and there it was. Nice peaceful wee setting this. Tnx for bringing me here & TFTC
Lots of scrabbling down to this one, trying our best to keep our feet. Not too hard a find once you are on the right side, wasn't overly camoed. Tried our best to re-camo with natural materials, as it looks like lots of kids come down to play in here. Took some nappies, left a squirrel. TFTC
Managed to find this between netball tournament games that are kicking off the beginning of the Netball season. Was in the middle doing the nearby multi cache when was distracted by this enroute. Was a quick find with some interesting swag including false eyelashes that I have left for other visitors. Thanks.
Geo dog and I took advantage of a cool breeze to investigate this side of the creek.
Would never have come here if it were not for the chance of another smiley face - which we found fairly quickly, probably much to the dogs annoyance as he was having a good snuffle about. TFTC

Bit of a clamber down the bank & back up, but we found the cache. Interesting bird life around here.
A return visit to find this one as mr 7 did it with his uncle first time and they didn't read the hint. TFTC.
Came out here today to visit the Howick Historic Museum, and of course have to grab a cache or too while here, Easy find once I found a safe way to GZ, likely hiding spot was quickly spotted, SLTNLN, TFTC
Tried a couple of days ago but found myself on the wrong side of the creek. Tried again today from the other side and found it easily and with dry feet. TFTC
Sometimes I wish I had a walking stock. Thanks for stream crossing waypoint, that would've been a giant leap for these little legs.

I have watched geograndkid playing here a few times and never realised there was a cache close by. Cache in good order only a few metres away from the coords. TFTC
Out with my family doing other caches in the area when we saw we were so close to this we decided to try and find this too. My brother beat me to it but alot of fun looking Thank you and sorry for the delay in logging.
Sorry for taking so long to log my visit. I was the first to find this after tripping up and hurting my shin. Lots of fun.
Out with Crusing5, sparkman & Lumpy today and decided that as were walking right past this one, it would be rude not to visit.
A bit of scrambling & sliding got us to GZ. Now where is it? Looked where we thought it should be, not there. Widened the search area, no luck. Went back to the beginning and then a little voice pipes up "Found it!" Cache was soon signed, some swag was exchanged and then it was time to head back to the car.

So glad we didn't get wet feet, but still alot of fun getting to where the cache was. After a bit of a search, the cache was found and we were off again. tftc
Came by here on a very warm day, too hot for me! Took a few minutes to search for the cache but got there! Lovely little stream nearby!
