Found while making my way to Mildura. Meeting a friend at the half point. Seriously,,, Nobody should ever expect anybody to drive a 10 hour return trip without caching on the way! So here I am. Many thanks gregandjudi for providing this game piece for our enjoyment.Greetings from Tatura, Australia
Made this one a quick park and grab which was handy as the area had a few muggles parked a little further down but between the car and vegetation we managed to make a sneaky retrieval. Thanks gregandjudi for the hide.
Needed a cuppa as we passed through Echuca. This was a lovely spot on the banks of the river. Took me longer than it should have but made the find in the end. TFTC.
I had stopped for the day but when I noticed this was on the way home I decided "just one more". TF placing
Motorhoming around in winter and finding a cache here and there. Staying at the Rotary RV park & came for a brisk walk after the rain stopped. TFTC
2 adults and 5 kids couldnt find it. Found the tree in the pics but no geochach
Looks like this cache is missing. Checked all the holes in the trees around the area
After looking at all the pictures and locating its place. Seems someone has taken the cache.
Lovely location. Enroute to camp base after getting bike tyre fixed - Im sure I removed 200 bindis from each tyre - having tubeless is a plus and magically the front survived but the back tyre cried out Im FLAT So came by after on trusty treadles. First time away for awhile - back in Echuca and this time the Riverboat Festival with a few star attractions is the main lure. BUT as my dear mum would say, always make time for some casheering so here I am and hip hip hooray. TfTC and the lure to the LIONs. A fave for a roaring lovely location!
We are heading up to the Shepparton Marathon and taking the long way via Echuca. The plan is to get 20 geocaches in the Campaspe and Moira LGAs and at least 1 cache in whatever NSW LGA Moama is in. Not sure it will happen with our tight schedule, but will see how it goes.
About to start the Echuca Moama Parkrun, but enough time to grab the 2 geocaches first. Might be hard to get them later with all the runners.
Thanks for the cache Greg and Judi

Rookie mistake. Muggle or fellow geocacher…unsure yet…caught me with his stealth footsteps!! He came out of nowhere!! What made it worse was I had my torch out so I did look very dodgy. Quickly hid it in my pocket, signed and on our way.
Had a good laugh in the car about it but we need to up our stealth!! Hopefully a harmless mistake.

Found on my trip home. After checking into my motel nearby I headed out to find a few more caches, this was the first. A little look around and the cache was found, log signed and all replaced. This was actually larger than I was expecting. TFTC
Einen schönen Spaziergang in Echuca mit Cache belohnt Tftc and greetings from Germany
Our first find for the day, up bright and early for a day caching after camping on the Murray. TFTC!
Just finished a week of house-boating with UncleTom3 and the family. Easy find - TFTC from Tassie.

Replaced and ready to be found. Unfortunately the playground and off street parking remains unavailable, but I'm sure they'll get it cleaned up soon.
The water has gone down. Cache is missing. Replacement being organised.
Park looks very sad as it was under water for so long, but it will freshen up again. Take note of markings on nearby toilet block that shows river height.

I thought I had disabled this one did to the flooding event. Drove past today and still surrounded by water. T5 if it is still in place.
On our way back home to Melbourne, great little hide. A quick play on the playground for the kids & back in the car to the next cache. Thanks for the find.
With mrs one-eyed we decided to find one more cache in Echuca before heading back to base in Rochy for evening meal at the Shamrock Pub this was my 1300 find not bad for a one eyed 79 year old thanks for your cache cheers from one-eyed
A quick easy find while hubby and I are touring Echuca on our electric scooters and sightseeing for the Queen’s long weekend. TFTC ️

Finally… finally The Welder and I have made it away on a weekend, kid free, covid free, even geo-dog free. It’s taken four attempts over the past six months for it to become a reality. The last time we even had the camper packed ready for our Easter break and Covid struck again!
But last night we manage to wave the kids off and do the long drive from Melbourne for an overnight stop in Echuca. We arrived late, thankfully for a hot shower and a warm room… the heat pack catching fire was a little extreme. We could have gone without that… was lucky to catch it in time as it sparked alight. But after a solid sleep we are kicking off our day… the first one in our latest road trip adventure! You see we have LGAs to collect, UBD maps to tick off and dates to sign off.
This was a nice quick find and an opportunity for us to start our adventure, contemplate our coffee stop and off…. We… go. Thanks for the cache!

Heymissjo and I took advantage of the long weekend for some long overdue downtime together. And our favourite method of connection is a geocaching roadtrip!
We got out of the 'big smoke' of Melbourne and made our way to Echuca in the dark, wintery conditions of Friday night. The hotel was lovely, and on arrival HMJ inadvertently decided to warm us up by a fire. Mind you, the place didn't actually have a fireplace or allow flames in the rooms!! Once we'd 'smudged' the place with charred wheat bag, we had a very restful sleep in preparation for our real adventure, which was to begin in the morning.
This cache was our visit smiley on this roadtrip. It was nice to see we had the park to ourselves. The cache wasn't hidden where I was expecting, which allowed HMJ to make very short work of the find.
Thanks to gregandjudi for getting our adventure underway in fine style.

Chose the wrong time to come here. It was the end of school time. Eventually found and on my way
