I love how geocaching brings you to amazing places you never knew about. Thanks for the fun puzzle and the wonderful location!
WA Big Trip Winter 2024. Day 56 - Fremantle to Swan Valley Perth. I did not have far to go today, so after a slow start I did a few caches on the outskirts of Fremantle, including an amazingly big cemetery. I was able to check in to the van park at midday, so that was great and I was soon out again. I selected a run of caches along a freeway to fill in my afternoon. It was a mixed bag again. some fantastically sneaky caches, some that beat me. I ended the day with a Solstice event where it was great to meet some locals. I went back to my van and cooked dinner before a very wet night.I started looking at this one because I thought it was a challenge, but with help from my friends the actual puzzle was worked out and today I was able to walk across the park to the cache and sign the log. Thanks for the cache fairwaydrivers47921.4 TNLNVisited: World Traveling Gold GC A#6 & December 2021 Glckpilz A#481**Albida**
I've had this one solved for some time and decided to give it a shot today while in the general area. A squiz at the hint once at GZ focussed my attention and not long after, I was signing the log at 15:10 and we were on our way. TNLNSL, although our 100 finds geocoin had a visit to mark our **1400th** Australian find outside Victoria. Thanks fairwaydrivers.
Camminata mattutina a Fremantle. Dopo aver visitato il Memorial passiamo accanto al campo di golf ed entriamo in questo bel parco. Arriviamo al GZ, uno sguardo e troviamo il tubetto. Una firma e proseguiamo la passeggiata.Ciao e grazie. #10617Morning walk in Fremantle. After visiting the Memorial we pass next to the golf course and enter this beautiful park. We arrive at the GZ, take a look and find the tube. A signature and we continue the walk.Hello and thanks. #10617
Solved this morning before heading to Freo - lovely little park TFTC SL Greetings from Ireland
Set out early to grab a couple of caches before the heat of the day set in. We enjoyed the short walk to gz and made a nice quick find. We added our names to your log and returned your cache back to its place of hiding. Its always good to do a welfare check on one that hasnt been found for awhile and happy to say this one is doing just fine. TFTC fairwaydrivers.
We got up early to beat the heat of the day coming on after axell33 had solved this one. Little did we know I had already solved it a while ago.never mind, we had a quick find between local dog walkers and joggers. We did not know this lovely park was here as we rarely come up to this part of the world anymore. We shall return for other caches in the future. Thanks for the hide here fairwaydrivers.
Lovely location for a geocache. Par for the course.
Heading west for one mintue of moon shadow. This is one of stops on a long journey.
Warning, this hobby can be addictive. It can lead to exercise, meeting new people and finding interesting places you might not have known existed otherwise. Beware: you may have fun.

Cache in good condition.
This is my 3462 find.
Thank you fairwaydrivers for placing and maintaining this cache.
Geology rocks but Geography is where it’s at!
(I’m not a geologist I just like puns)
Questions tricked us at first but got there eventually!! Spot is excellent!! TFTC
Had to come back past here on my way home as there were way too many muggles earlier. Sat in the car and figured out the co ords this morning. Nice quick find. TFTC
We came along here today with ilook4geo to make a joint find. The puzzle was easy to solve and the co-ordinates were good, so a quick find was made. The container and log are in good condition and both names were soon stamped on the log. Thanks go to fairwaydrivers for placing this cache in a beautiful park area.
Came along here with goingplaces2 with solved co-ords in hand. Found the cache quickly and signed the log. TFTC.
Found with Redruthguy and Phillario on Divali Festival Day. Nice little wander around Freo. TFTC
Redruthguy solved the puzzle for me so I was happy to help by finding the physical cache.
Cache in good condition and almost a fresh log. Plenty of rocks around but you’ll know the right spot when you see it.
Thanks for the cache

With cmb212 and phillario. I solved this one awhile ago. In Freo for the festival.
Down in Freo for lunch today so took the opportunity to pick up a few caches while here This was one that I stopped off at. This puzzle has been on the solved pile for ages so it was good to finally be here to make the find. Not being a golfer, Google came to my rescue Took a bit of rummaging to locate the right rocks, and when I did I wondered how it took me so long! Turned one over and there it was Signed & replaced - all ok here today. TFTC
The wife did the hard work to solve the puzzle but unfortunately she accidentally kicked a temporary detour sign on the way to GZ so I had to jump in to get the find while she hobbled around a bit. As such I’m taking full credit for the find.
Took a little while to find the rocks in question but got it and enjoyed the fresh log. TFTC

I solved the puzzle without issue and came to collect the cache. Unfortunately it seems to be missing. I found the obvious spot using the hint but nothing there. I'll send a picture to CO for confirmation. Tfth
I saw two cachers circling around GZ and all three including me had no luck.
Found the SPOR but nothing underneath.

Dropped off the brother and his new girlfriend in Freo and decided it was finally time to knock off the small pile of caches at Booyeembarra Park.
Despite the blokes nearby playing with their boats, I went completely unnoticed finding this cache. Cheers fairwaydrivers!

We don't often get over this way so it was great that our little hobby has brought us to new area once again that we didn't know anything about. Beautiful little spot, TFTC fairwaydrivers!
Took a seat on the jetty and found the answers then proceeded to the cache. TFTC
Solved this puzzle ages ago. Took a long time to visit White Gum Valley to find the cache. Enjoyed walking through the park/nature reserve. Thanks for the cache.
Find 10 of 14 with just one DNF on a pleasant bike ride in duck country, then a drive through Freo picking up some solved puzzles.
An easier golf puzzle - phew. Quick find on arrival.

For once an easy puzzle I can understand
A nice easy hide away from the muggles in the playground.
Thanks

I am currently visiting WA from Adelaide, re-visiting old places, exploring new ones, catching up with friends and relatives and searching out and in many cases, being guided by, caches of interest along the way.
After staying near Rockingham for a couple of nights, today I slowly made my way via a rather convoluted path, towards Perth.
This was one of many puzzles solved in anticipation of my trip. It was found quickly.
Thanks fairwaydrivers for the puzzle and the cache.

Find on a wild and windy afternoon ..as noted by others cache is cracked and log damp but thanks for the cache fairway drivers really enjoying this series
Thanks for the cache. Solved this one while walking to the other nearby caches. Found log dry but lid is cracked.
After grabbing a couple of caches nearby I worked out the final for this cache as I was walking back to the car, a slight detour and I found myself at GZ and ensuring the muggles were otherwise occupied claimed my find.
Thanks fairwaydrivers for placing this cache for me to find, this is find number 1537 for me.

Thank you! Today I headed out on a solved puzzle run. Can't actually remember solving this one - must have been a while ago. Found the cache without issue. Thanks for bringing me here.
A bit of online searching while I had some free time and the numbers were written down. The cache coordinates were keyed into the GPS and the hunt was on.
Coordinates took me to the place and the most likely place for the cache was seen as I approached.
Found and logged.
Thanks for the Golf info.

Would you believe this was my one and only Puzzle cache for the trip to WA. Over here for a week or relaxation retail therapy and of course caching. A Western Blue Tongue was sunning himself near GZ. Thanks for the hide fairwaydrivers.
Found after a round about way of getting to gz. Very tranquil here early in the morning tftc
Find #255 of 365 streak. Quickly did the research and got the tick. I like this park so I extended my find with a walk around the park. TFTC
I solved this puzzle knowing we were going to be in Freo for the day today. The answers were easily found and final coords calculated. Unfortunately when we arrived at GZ this morning, a large group of muggles were having a picnic nearby. We decided to postpone and make the find on our way out this arvo. Luckily with no muggles in sight, we made a quick find. Thanks for the puzzle and cache, fairwaydrivers.
FYI the container is looking a bit worse for the wear, and doesn't quite seal shut anymore. It should be fine for summer but might get damp when it rains.

We headed down to Freo today to make the most of the weather and grab a few caches, after working out the information to get the final coordinates we are happy to say we came up trumps here and walked away with a smilie TFTC
Solved quite a while ago I but don’t come this way normally. A bit drippy this morning but it did mean less muggles....The things we do to collect mythical creatures! Nothing mythical about my late dad - though he did turn into a different being on a golf course!
We found your cache this afternoon whilst on the way to a family gathering at Point Walter. The container is still serviceable albeit the tabs are a little worse for wear. Thanks for setting up these challenges as it brings back some great memories. Looking forward to doing the next challenge "Point Walter".
Headed out early to grab a couple of caches. The hubby had solved this one a while ago so this one was first on my list to grab. A nice walk to GZ and the cache was quickly spotted. One of the clips is missing off the container but at the moment everything is fine TFTC fairwaydrivers
A little bit of caching just SOR with megawat60 today, in the cooler weather.
I had solved this cache last night in preparation for the excursion, and learnt a thing or 2 about a great golfer. After an enjoyable walk, megawat60 made the find. Thanks for another good golf puzzle fairwaydrivers!

Out again with m4yb. A relatively easy puzzle to solve.
Thanks for the smiley and hide fairwaydrivers.
Thanks for the smiley and hide fairwaydrivers.
Solved this puzzle awhile ago and today after dropping off the muggle husband close by took the opportunity to grab this cache. In between showers we made a quick grab. Cache is in okay condition with one clip broken although it is still waterproof. Tftc
A couple of minutes with Dr Google gave me some coords and I was then off to make the find in this unexpected park. Just looks like scrub from the road. TFTC fairwaydrivers.
Out and about with Barnzy12, the year / month for Multi and puzzle caches as that’s all that’s left close to home. It’s all about being environmentally friendly and not driving 100km for a cache!
fairwaydrivers I found your cache Golf Challenge - Freo thanks for placing this hide and bringing me to this area.

We had a bit of spare time after dropping the geoson at an event in Freo . We decided to let our GPS guide us around this area and hunt down a few caches . A big thanks to fairwaydrivers for placing this container out here for us to find [^].
fairwaydrivers - jinta29 found your cache Golf Challenge - Freo on 9/9/17, 12:19 pm. This is my find #8382 and find #6 today. The cache is in good shape and we replaced it as found. Thanks for bringing us to this location and adding to the wonderful spirit of this game!

*Heading into Fremantle to take some photo's, some way marks and some caches*...
A beautiful sunny winters day to be out and about. Managed to grab 12 today and quite a few photo's. People sailing boats, playing Frisbee and enjoying the nearby driving range.
Have really enjoyed this area over the past few weeks of visiting the area.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment fairwaydrivers. Appreciate your effort.

Quick find and shared the effort with theBignells. Lovely little park. Afterwards sat at a picnic table watching the birds squabbling.
Another cache falls to the partnership of TheBignells and hands8. Nice straight forward puzzle and a quick find at GZ.

In the area again this morning and noticed that this one had had some recent maintenance so dropped in for squiz. Found it in the first spot I checked, thanks for replacing the cache.

After getting frustrated with the D5 747-400 mystery cache I turned my attention to this one and after quickly solving it, I was pleasantly surprised to find I had literally walked within 10m of this cache earlier in the day.
In fact I had picked the perfect day to explore the Park with the older two of my boys as the local RC yacht group (not club) meets every second Tuesday and today was meet day.
It was a nice treat watching them sail around and they even let me have a go at sailing one, which I found was most enjoyable.
So back to the park we went and quickly found and signed the cache.
Thank you very much for placing a cache here it is a wonderful place to be sure.

This ones been in the solved pile for a couple of weeks now and had the chance this arvo to come and have a look. As I approached GZ I saw that some muggles had set themselves up about 15 meters away. After a quick stealthy scan of the area I had to leave empty handed.
fairwaydrivers I couldn't find your cache, this was my 1st DNF for the day.

One of the easier fairwaydrivers puzzles we have solved. Such a lovely park that was well utilised on a mild Saturday morning. Fortunately there were no muggles within sight of GZ so a quick find was made. The log is soaking wet but we managed to make our mark. TFTC fairwaydrivers
Figured this one out a couple of days ago and snagged it today while out for a ride.
One of my must have caches on my drive from Mandurah to the airport. I took a stroll around the park and picked up the other couple of caches, before returning for this one... It was not playing nicely at first and I could not lay my hands on the cache. After 15 minutes or so in looking in the obvious location, I let out a call for help... Err, are you near a "@$*" I was asked. Hmm, nope, but there is one not so far away. Well, perhaps your final coords were entered incorrectly, maybe try closer to the thing in question...
OK, so after a small adjustment, I scanned the new area and after a minute of so, I had the container in hand... Hmm, must recheck those coords I thought... With my name in the log, I tucked the cache back in place and headed off to snare a couple more before the flight to Brissy.
Cheers fairwaydrivers.

Solved the puzzle clues at my motel and headed out for a nice evening walk. Pleasant spot and easy find to help get over my jetlag. Thanks.
Solved it at work so made tracks this arvo down to gz. Little bit of search before cache made its presence known. Nice puzzle cache with plenty of checkers to confirm accuracy. Thanks for the cache.
Heading out today, I decided to swing by and grab this. On first approach, my gps had me a location with some scattered rocks and broken bottles. ITS NOT THERE.
Once my gps settled, I moved about 6 metres to where it was pointing and made a quick find.
fairwaydrivers - Kyzabra found your cache Golf Challenge - Freo on 11/10/2015, 8:19 AM. This is my find #3926 and find #1 today. The cache is in good shape and we replaced it as found. Thanks for placing this and bringing us to this spot!

I've completed a few of these golf puzzle caches now, this one was probably the easiest to solve and the hardest to find.
Arrived at GZ around 11:15am this morning to a near deserted park. Still took me a good 5-10min to find the cache, not because it's hard to find ... I just kept searching the wrong spots.

How come it's Geohubby who plays golf but it is me that has to solve these puzzles? At least Thi was an easy one & the cache is in a beautiful park with lots of water birds. TFTC
Solved puzzle yesterday knowing that I would be passing through this area on my way to the Maritime Museum. It wasn't such a quick find. The park itself was very quiet today but there was a young family picnicking on the table closest to GZ so I went for a walk around this beautiful park which I never knew existed. Thanks for bringing me here. The family eventually left so I darted in for retrieval and signing of the log. (It's a bit damp, and probably needs a ziplock bag. I didn't have any with me). Thanks for the cache fairwaydrivers.
After a DNF a couple of months ago due to using the old coords I came back with the new coords to make a quick find. The log was quite damp but it was still possible to sign it. TFTC.
Back in the Fremantle area for work this week. After waking up at the normal east coast wake up time, I ducked out to grab some very early morning caches. This was one that I had calculated prior to travelling to Perth. Thanks fairwaydrivers
I've had this cache solved since 2011 according to my records and today finally got around to looking for it but without success. The fact that the final location has changed probably explains my lack of success. Back to the drawing board it seems.
Headed out to see a few sights around Freo today & having a picnic near the Golf Course, Jase nutted out puzzle over lunch We were happy to see this one was not too far away, so we headed off to GZ... Muggles were a bit of a problem today, but after the likely spot was identified I took watch whilst Jase took care of the log signing duties!
TFTC & the puzzle fairwaydrivers A great location that I'm sure we will return to next time we are in the area!

I had a quick hunt at my corrected coordinates before I realised that the puzzle and location had changed. Luckily I had my previous workings in my notebook and it only took a couple of minutes before I had the right numbers again. I was relieved to find that the hint was current and it made for a quick find. Great parklands here. Tftc fairwaydrivers
When my muggle friend and I arrived here from another cache - Freo Frolic, there was a heavy rain on that time so we waited for a long while then we gave it up and left for another cache.
This one lead me on an adventure! Probably because it was my first attempt at a mystery cache. Although I ended up in the right place, eventually we discovered another lovely area of freo....thanks
Had a good look was pretty sure we where in the right spot after reading the hint I think it has been muggled
I initially started the puzzle for this one a fair while ago, and could get most of my answers correct, but the geochecker wasn't being my friend. I resorted to emailing the CO, who I interrupted in the middle of a camping holiday for some help. When fairwaydrivers got back to civilisation again, he checked my workings and found a simple maths error in my workings (oops haha). After feeling a little embarrased, I wanted to try and find the cache when I was next home from work, and today was the day. I had been further north playing golf (I hit a PB 102 for 18) and swung past and collected this one. Nice easy find, although it was well camouflaged, thanks for replacing it. Glad to have another of the always fun golf challnges put away now. TFTC fairwaydrivers!
