Ha love the container! Found with HRH54- an interesting little cemetery & museum. Now to complete the multi. TFTC
Quick find of a well stocked & maintained cache. Great spot & the geohound appreciated the run around. Took the mum rock & left a very cool TB (dont mistake it for swag!!) & a couple of swaps. FP for a very feel good cache! TFTC0
Highly recommended for all and Kids will love this one. You can also call ahead to make an appointment to get the museum open. See photo for details. Lots of goodies here and space to swop.
12725. Located by baby&Mrs gopher at 0920. It took a while to get to SL as Chris and Phil were out for a long chat. We were shown through the garden the museum and heard about some of the people that are involved here. Tnx MulgaNator
Arrived at GZ and found cache surprisingly quickly. We love this type of cache. Thanks so much for bringing us here. SL
What a lovely little cemetery! We ran into Chris the caretaker of the place and she was just amazing telling us about the place and its history. Cache must be one of the easiest finds ever and really well stocked for swaps. Now we're off to camp behind the leap pub.

Great Northern escape 2022 Day 104. Proserpine to Mackay. After the last days drive along the Bruce Highway was mostly road works, this section had hardly any. I managed quite a few caches before arriving in Mackay. I then headed out for an afternoon caching around the northern beaches and suburbs. Lots of great areas visited today.
The models over the fence watched on while I tried to find a small cache. Then I turned around and saw the large one. Quite impressive just sitting there.
Thanks for the cache MulgaNator

Many people over-rate their caches, such as rating mintie tins, which are micros, as smalls, but rarely have I seen a cache under-rated in size as this is. Ammunition tins are regular sized caches, and it was a pleasure to visit this one; once I removed the green ants. Worth a favourite point. TFTC MulgaNator.
On the hunting trail again with SeasonedBird. I’ll leave the more interesting detailed log to Mrs Geo (aka: SeasonedBird, Salty Chook, the Old Boiler, Old Chook, Dirty Bird or Angry Bird) because she writes so much more eloquently than I and usually has much more time to do so while I’m driving. It’s a great day for caching. TFTC MulgaNator

Found with geopartner Wollaston on a road trip to Mackay. Stopped at this spot, met the lovely caretaker lady next door and had a chat then grabbed the cache and cracked on south.

Heading north on a pilgrimage to the Townsville Mega, stopping along the way to stretch the legs and find any interesting caches.
A bit awkward with a family having morning tea nearby. Is that a house? They were very friendly anyway and it was a very quick find
Find #12275 @ 08:35
Thanks MulgaNator for giving us a reason to visit.

Heading north for the Townsville Mega, taking 5 days and finding caches along the way. Thanks to the COs for placing these caches to show us more of your local area.
What a great place where we found this cache. The house next door had some interesting characters. Met the owner of the house who knows all about the cache container. Signed log. TFTCMulgaNator
TFTC. Making our way north for the Townsville Mega. We left Mackay this morning heading for our overnight stop in Bowen. A lovely day for a drive. Along the way we stopped to find the odd cache, we do not have a plan to target any. We did a detour to complete this little loop.
Well with the stop. A quick find but distractions everywhere.FP for the location.

It wasn’t the best weather for caching so we decided to explore some back roads in the region instead and this was one of them. It started to rain just as we reached GZ so we were pleased when the cache presented itself to us so easily. Cache was in great condition in this peaceful setting. TFTC MulgaNator
Took us awhile but this was a great find and great swaps for kids. Very interesting place to visit
The lady in the museum next door is very helpful. She change the container and put it in a ammo box. Cause it kept getting wet. Didn't take anything but lots of treasures in there for the kids.
Outside container was full but emptied it. Inside container was in tact. Nicely done. TFTC
Placed a Starwars Ooshie in with the other trinkets.

Love these kind of hides. Intrigued to know if the little fenced grave at the front belongs with the Wyatt family also. Thank you for the beautiful location
Found with orth71 on a trip from Townsville to Mackay to see family for Christmas.
After a few days caching in Mackay we are heading back to Townsville.
Just stopping and signing a few on the way home.

Inevitably on a long trip when many geocaches are being found, some get missed. Unfortunately, at the time, this was one of them. So, although out of chronological order, I am logging them today for simplicity. So my apologies for the generic log and the out of date sequence.
Our trip commenced on Friday November 28th and concluded on Tuesday December 22nd. During that time, we visited caches in Maryborough, Childers, Rockhampton, Yeppoon, Sarina, Mackay, Bowen, Townsville and Cairns, with other places in between like Proserpine, Home Hill, Ayr, Ingham to name just a few, with many wonderful single stop caches along the way.
Our party consisted of myself, hatzofff, grannysmith1947, and on occasion, youngoldfella.
Log signed and cache replaced as found. TFTC, MulgaNator.

Day 8 of our northern adventures with RoddyC, Snickersallan, GrannySmith 1947 & YOF caching in and around Mackay.
Spent a little too long here. GPS was very unsettled. Very confusing as to where it may be but soon concentrated our search to the cemetery where the hint then came in handy.

Day nine of my road trip heading to Townsville with geo friends, grannysmith1947, hatzofff, RoddyC and youngoldfella.
We were searching in all the wrong places at first then once the compass finally settled it took us right to GZ. Interesting stuff to look at here.

Found by Mary and David at 09:55. A FP here even before Mary got out of the GeoPrado. She loves exploring cemeteries for the symbolism of the headstone carvings and the social history in the epitaphs. Not a lot to see here, with only a few headstones, including some little ones. Delighted to find more information inside the container. Our thanks to MulgaNator.
Wow! Best find of the day and then to get a tour of the history and craft shop by the owner was amazing. Thank you for bringing us here.
Nice easy one to start the trip up to Bowen. May the fourth be with you. TNLN. SL. TFTC.
Great little spot that we never knew existed until today. Easy find with lots of swaps
TFTC..... Lovely tranquil spot with amazing gate that we were told is over 100 years old. Made by a Blacksmith.
On the way to little getaway with friends we stopped to geocache. Found this little beauty in a nice place
Who knew this place existed.. We accidentally drove past and had to drive back. It was fairly easy to find.
Nice cache, loved by big and small. Added some dinosaurs for the next little ones.
Quick find today with the geo family as we set of for a day north of Mackay. Many thanks for the cache.
Geokids managed this one solo. Dropped off a TB, hoping someone travelling along the highway can move it further than we can. Pinto left to keep it company and star taken.
Beautiful little spot. Great one for kids.

On a vacation and drive from Cairns to Brisbane. Few caches were found on the way. TFTC.
I am in Australia for 2 weeks, starting with the Mega-event in Alexandra, Victoria.
After an AMAZING 3-day liveaboard-divetrip in The Great Barrier Reef, my plan is to drive from Cairns to Brisbane. I found a car online that needs to be relocated, so I have a free car for 6 days, that's perfect for geocaching
Today I drove from Airlie Beach to Rockhampton, finding lots of nice caches along the way. I especially liked the caches along the coast, just next to Bruce Highway. The views of the ocean were absolutely stunning. I'm so glad there were lots of caches there, otherwise I would have just passed by on A1 without seeing anything.
About this cache:
This was really good and easy. I'm surprised it hasn't been muggled. Tftc, greetings from Norway

Still in Mackay area, and continuing our geo-streak in the area, now up to 56 days, and chasing 2000 finds. Found at 9.30am after dropping off the van for aircon repairs at Kuttubul. Thanks MulgaNator.
A Lady in a red hat helped us find this very easy cache. Left a red toy for the geokiddies.
