Tricky due to 4 female muggles sitting on the bench facing the hide zone. Lovely rose time of year TFTC
Few muggles about, but thanks to a bit of team tagging with chRcheuse we managed to sneak in and out TFTC!
Came along here doing the ad lab and, oh look, there's a trad cache here as well. Luckily timed it really well as it looks like the gardeners doing some pruning today must have been away having lunch, so made a quick find while the coast was clear. Nice hide, cheers
A nice quick find. Thanks for placing your cache. Ms_KR and I are out and about around Nelson today. A lovely day for a drive and a bit of a cache.Occassionally signed MK+KR on cache logs, and apologies for the generic logs. Thanks to all CO's for publishing and maintaining their caches.
A beautiful wee garden explore. No pencil. Found with geodog and magicaltrooper
JDScout and I are spending a week in the Nelson/Tasman area. We are on another campervan trip. We stayed in Nelson the last two nights. This is our first stop on our bike ride today. What a beautiful garden.
Back to caching in the city -so different to caching in the countryside. Our stomachs are happy after a lovely dinner so it is back out for an evening caching session -it’s 10:43 and we are still going. Those in the team who need 50 caches found in a day for the DGSc challenge aren’t far away from that number. I love the perfume of roses.
In Nelson with TwigNZ, YetiNZ, Mr-Mcgoo for a few days of caching and meeting up with other cachers from Nelson. All logs signed as NMTY and apologies for the late log.
Kia ora rawa atu for the cache BigglesNZ.

(# 7925) A caching trip to Nelson with NZ_B, TwigNZ and YetiNZ. Day 3 of a 4 day trip interspersed with exploring and humour. A quick find.
The log was signed as NuMpTY (or NMTY) for NZ_B, Mr-mcgoo, TwigNZ, & YetiNZ. Thanks for bringing me here.

Day 3 of my Nelson trip, along with NZ_B, YetiNZ and Mr-Mcgoo. This is something we planned a while back and have very much been looking forward to
During our time here, all found caches were signed as NMTY (regardless of whether 2, 3 or all 4 of us hadn't found it previously), or with individual names for Challenge Caches according to whomever was claiming the find.
It's now evening and after another full day of caching we were definitely in the mood for a good meal, so filled our boots at Lone Star in the CBD. Of course we were offered the dessert menu, but decided that what went best after a day of caching and a good meal...was more caches! It was a beautifully calm night, so why not?
If I'm being honest, with the lure of another 50+ caches day for those working their way through the qualifying for the DGSc Challenge, we were on a bit of a numbers grab by now.
This was a straightforward find at GZ, and encountering no issues with cache or log, everything was replaced exactly as found.
Thanks for setting this one up.

Some time ago a group of us from Wellington decided that what we should do is come down to the Nelson region for a long weekend of Geocaching. So we did. With minimal specific agendas, and lots of unfound caches in the area, the goal for this four day break is exploring, having fun, and finding geocaches. Here is one we found.
This was day three, and another fifty plus day that had us focusing around Nelson town, starting at the northern end and working our way south.
Attention to detail had us find this one exactly where it was.
The log was signed as NuMpTY (or NMTY) for NZ_B, Mr-Mcgoo, TwigNZ, & YetiNZ

Thanks to BigglesNZ for placing and maintaining this cache. I enjoy each and every cache I find, and it is only with CO's like this placing them out in the world that this wonderful game continues.
[DGSc-Bulk] tagging to help me generate a list for GC30AD8 - DGSc Challenge.

Found with Nutty Nora. Nice add on to the Ad Lab, roses are still blooming in autumn
First time geocaching with the Kaikohau boys, after a little searching a nice easy find. Tftc.
What a fabulous Garden.Quickly found after Muggles had left.TFTH A Rose By Any Other Name (Nelson/Marlborough)
Thank you so much for bringing me to this beautiful flower paradise. Traveling from the USA. Your flowers are spectacular
After two unsuccessful visits, this cx was well and truly on my nemesis list. Marchwood and I had time after completing an AL, so we came over here to see of another pair of eyes would do the rick. We both looked for some time before we sent and SOS to the CO who came a-runnin to GZ. He confirmed that the cx was missing and replaced it on the spot. TFTC.
I’ve been saving this one as I knew I might need it (as a quick & easy find) to keep my streak alive. Today was that day! Several potential muggles in the gardens (disguised as Nelmac workers, pruning rose bushes) but they didn’t seem bothered by me. Sneaky hide. Log signed. TFTC Biggles
Found on second visit here as chased away by muggles first attempt was harder to find than expected wasn't where I expected it to be tftc
It was a quick drive to here with the kids before dinner. Mr NZH was on cache retrieval which didn't take long. And it was a quiet time of day in the gardens so no muggles. TFTC. Another for our streak which we keep thinking will end soon but then limps on.
I didn't understand the hint for a while. Once I got to the right place, I was already frustrated, so I didn't search as long as necessary.
Nice little spot good sunny day lots of fun to find with my bros thanks for the find.
Good cache, easy find didn’t take long. Found it whilst taking my grandmother for a walk lovely garden!! x
Not a bad way to get some fresh air with the kids before the bad weather comes through. TFTC
Out for a geocache with my sister before she started work, this was a fun one, nice roses out today
When the husbands away the wives will play haha - Straight out the door for a Saturdays geocaching adventure with Missnboyz. This one took a while to find but after reading a few logs we knew we needed to look elsewhere and low and behold a cache in hand. Such a lovely place to sit and ponder here. TFTC
No Rose's out today plenty of thorns though. Although we had close encounters with shrubbery it was safe. Tftc
I dropped by here on my way to look at the nearby Multi; unfortunately workmen / gardeners were planting etc at GZ. Such is life !
How does the saying go? Ah yes - a rose by any other name is just as thorny. No, I remember now: a rose by any other name is still not an elephant.
After doing the multi here we headed over to this cache. The dragon got it right and I was stuck on the wrong side of the fence. So I checked the fence for hanging bisons, but I had hardly got anywhere when the dragon emerges with a cache in hand.
At last my railway series is finished! Yay! So I am back in Nelson for the third weekend in a row to actually place the final Nelson rail cache, completing the story of the line. As (nearly) always, I have Taybeedragon in tow. Now that the Nelson railway cache is in place we are just randomly driving around mopping up stray caches.

.OK with the Multi bagged its time to check out the rest of this Rose garden to get this one snagged and tagged. The hint helped heaps for a quick snag and tag. Cheers
Its a flying visit to Nelson today instead of flying out to USA. So another early start picking up The Seagnoid at 6am and heading over the hill to amble about Nelson on a fine cool day. Another great caching day and exploration over the hill.

First time I came here the cache was missing, knowing that it is replaced now I came again, but it wasn't a quick find for me. I looked at the wrong fence... After reading the last logs I noticed I was searching at the wrong place, "dived in the bush" and looked from different sides and angles, felt and after a while found the cache!
Couldn't find it anywhere... I was there for half an hour with friends and then, we just found it...
I have a 3 month sabbatical mostly traveling around the planet. My goal is to find and log 1000 caches. New Zealand is my 4th station traveling from south Christchurch to north Auckland, my first visit here, its far away. This is my sabbatical-cache #667.
I haven't been here since I was a kid when my parents brought me here and on the occasional school trip. But this time around it was the cache in the corner that I was after plus to get the info for the multi. Thanks BigglesNZ.
Doing a hash house harriers run through here. Too good an opportunity to miss. TFTC
The additional hint was very helpful in narrowing down where to focus our search. There were a few muggles around today enjoying the beautiful roses in bloom. TFTC
Berrydehamster and me are travelling in New Zealand for three weeks. We cross the country from north to south and back again by campervan, see a lot, do a lot, visit lots of places and meet a lot of people. It’s nice to be here and we have a great time.
As both of us are geocachers, we find a lot of caches on our travels. This is one of the caches we found. Thanks for your cache, BigglesNZ, that helped give us a wonderful time here. A favo point for the great park the cache is in.

NBokkie and I are going on holiday to New Zealand for 3 weeks. In Auckland we rent a camper. We start on the North island and driving to the south to make the crossing to the South island. Here we make a round and then take the boat back to the North Island. A long trip, but a very beautiful one! We do and see a lot on our way............
In addition to being a tourist, we are also going to cache along the way. The virtuals and earth caches are often on tourism places. If we have a long day of traveling, we stop for some caches.
It were great weeks!
Nice place to visit!

Second time here for me, the first time was a DNF that I didn’t log, I guess because I knew I would be back but in no rush. Well, looks like it was missing. No probs today, a quick find exactly where I expected it last time, TFTC Biggles and thanks for the replacement.
Today I decided to head over to Nelson for the second Saturday in a row, just because I quite enjoyed the last one. Besides, Marlborough was scheduled to have much the worse of the weather for Saturday, something borne out when I was greeted at Hira with the sun for the first time of the day. In the end it was a really pleasant day.
No real goals today, just continuing the sweep through urban Nelson of PnGs and solved puzzles. A little difficulty with a couple, so enlisted the help of gkmlb as a PAF. They were also kind enough to meet up later in the day for some more hands-on help, much appreciated. Where micros were found they were signed ‘RP’, I added RITR paper to those with crumbly or soaked logs.
Thanks to all COs, found some interesting caches today.

Park was busy today but looked high and low, plenty of signs that others had done the same, but didn't find it.
22245 Traveling through New Zealand to see nice people and places. Also to find some geocaches.
Today we went to Nelson to see the city and to enjoy many remarkable spots. we also did 2 virtuals and a multi, next to several traditionals thatr we found on our road.
Most caches were found quite quickly. A few took more time. Muggles did not watch what we were doing.
The rose garden is beautifull
BigglesNZ TFTC and the fun it brought us. Theo

Absolutely beautiful this time of year, the roses look spectacular.
Enjoyed finding this cache this evening. TFTC

Down in Nelson for a 10 day holiday and one of our annual big treks in the wilderness somewhere in NZ. Heading to another cache and we almost overshot this one. Really enjoyed the grounds.
Out and about filling in time and finding caches. Just mixing things up today with a paddle, a walk, smelling the roses and of course combining everything with caching or rather the caches lead us to the other things. Anyway it's a nice day to be outside. tftc
Found with NZDi while visiting my ailing mother who lives in Stoke. We took a short walk while waiting for our dinner (fish and chips) to cook. Today was a Dot Day, but we had already covered off on that mission earlier in the day. This was a bonus which means we don't have to worry about the 10th of November until we are going for a 3-Day.
As the cache was diametrically opposite our entry point to the gardens, we enjoyed a pleasant stroll through them. As it was late in the evening and rain was threatening, the gardens were deserted so we didn't need to get too stealthy. The cache was a QEF, but for the second cache today out of two caches, the 'zntargvp' properties of the container had failed so it may be a visit from the CO is necessary to check the cache. Also both logs were quite wet, but we managed to legibly scrawl the date and initials to record our presence. The cache was returned as found. Only 28 Dot Days to go.

Down for a daffodil show in Hope, had time to find some caches near our accommodation this evening. Thanks BigglesNZ for the caches.
Saw the rain clouds in the distance so thought I'd get a sneaky cycle in, picked this up on the way. Cache container quite wet but replacement log still dry. A quick find, TFTC
Back from a walk up to the dam in the Matai Valley where TregearP and I did a couple of other caches, including from this CO, I biked past here to go and try something on a multi we only got so far with yesterday.
A quick find, but log book sodden. Added a temporary log sheet to cover finds until the CO gets time for a maintenance run - will msg separately.
Thanks for the cache.

Only a short walk from where we were this afternoon. The nelmac workers were busy today pruning & mulching. the guy who was nearest to the cache wasn't the least bit interested in what I was doing so i had a free run in. I made the grab quickly & squirted some water out of the container as the plastic bags were starting to break the seal. Find #304
