### **OWNER MAINTENANCE REQUIRED?** ###
Perhaps it's time for the cache owner to make a visit to this cache as it would appear to be in need of owner intervention. I am temporarily disabling it so as to stop it showing up on search lists and to give the owner an opportunity to check on the cache, and take whatever action is necessary.
Geocache maintenance is a cache owner responsibility and includes regular visits to the cache to ensure it is in proper working order. Your prompt attention to any log that indicates things could be amiss will be greatly appreciated by all geocachers, have a read here: [Cache Maintenance Guidelines.](http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#cachemaintenance)
The guidelines advise; **if you can't fix it straight away then Disable it till you can.** This Help Centre article tells you how it can be done; [Temporarily Disable and Enable.]( http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235 )
**Please respond to this situation within 28 days - so as to prevent the cache from being archived.**

Can CO please check to confirm the status of this cache, last found 21 months ago and 5 DNF logged since.
Since it hasn't been found for a year and a half, I'd say this cache is in need of some maintenance/replacement.
As per previous few logs, it looks like the area has been washed out by rain - nothing was found anywhere in the area.
Nothing was jumping out. It does looked as if the area has changed a bit lately.
At the the spot but looks like that it has gone maybe the person that placed it might have to check it ta
Found with Liz & Bruce. We maanged to find the right way up to this one and then after a short walk the cache was a quick find, thanks Kay2Team.
As part of our visit to Victoria we are delighted to have been able to include the Lake Eildon Geo Tour in our itinerary. We started our travels in Queensland back in December and it was fortunate that while in Myrtleford we heard about this scenic adventure. A phone call later and we had made plans with our friend Alansee to team up for two and a half days to complete this series and other wonderful caches in the localities we visited. Such fun collecting the info we needed, so much to remember at each spot and photos not to be forgotten. The scenery has been awesome and there is no way we would have ever visited these places without the geotour. The tour has been a real highlight of our travels. Fav point alloc. Thanks to Kay2team for placing this cache and showing us this beautiful area.
After setting up camp at the Goughs bay caravan park we decided to go for a short stint of sightseeing before the sun went down. At the car park we were rewarded with a terrific view of Lake Eildon. It has been so many years since i have seen it from anywhere other than the car around Bonnie Doon on the way to Melbourne and had forgotten how awesome it really is.
We walked past the cache to the top and decided we were not going to see anything extra from up here so the cache was retrieved on the way back down.
TFTC.

Staying in Goughs Bay, and went for a nice walk to find this cache.
A newbie to geocaching this was a great find for me

First Geocache attempt and find. It was too rough for being on the water and so the family thought we'd give geocaching a go with the new GPS.
We had a great walk and there were great views of the lake on the walk.

Travelling on the east side of Eildon with BettyBoo3747 to complete the L.E.G. series.
Grabbed a few others on the way.
Should have brought the chainsaw to get a view from up here (or maybe a ladder?)
A nice short walk and great views between the trees down either side from the top
Thanks, Robmc.

# 7219. Day 2 in the area. After a late start we headed back towards Mansfield to collect the last four L.E.G. caches and a few others along the way. A fabulous lunch of special Bushmen's sausages from Alexandra cooked on the BBQ at Goughs Bay kept us going through the afternoon.
I am the chauffeur again today and wasn't too happy about the drive up here, especially with Rob saying "Look at the view over there" and me saying "no thank you, I don't want to glance sideways". Great views from the top and the cache was discovered easily. Much easier on the way down and then I could admire the views to Goughs.
Thanks Kay2team

Found today with a couple of other cachers from the North Central Caching group as we headed around the lake for the upcoming GeoTour. A great view from the cark park and could be a great view from the cache site but i figure in time it won't be. We were all a little surprised just how close you could park for this one. Thanks for dragging us up the hill it was definitely worth it.

Originally thought that this one might have involved quite a significant hike, but was pleased when discovering the road continued much further up. The view from the carpark is much more significant that from the lookout proper, but I can imagine how spectacular it would be if some clearing was done. Found with Beanslayr and Clever Monkey. TFTC!

Oops missed the maintenance note, checked today, will replace container and log book. Thanks
This cache has been attacked by muggles, was out in the open and full of rocks and water and sistema container broken. As a result the log book was wet too. Didn't have any spare supplies on us today but will need looking at by the CO.
#296 Another great day out geocaching from Goughs Bay to Milawa picking up 26 finds along the way, including several former dnfs! This was the 2nd find of the day, nice view south down an arm of Lake Eildon. Managed to sign the wet log and put the muggled cache back into a hiding spot - tftc Kay2team.
Scary drive, I wouldn't like to meet a car on the way. Also an amazing view
Found whilst staying with family in Mansfield for a couple of day's...

Thanks for the cache & for bringing me here...
Took: Nothing Left: Nothing Signed Log

Nice easy find. Walked from caravan van whilst camping - it was a good walk! Best not to drive unless you like dirt tracks. beautiful view. This walk was the highlight of my holiday - thank you!
Nice drive and walk up. Great views of the lake, Thanks for taking us up here. TFTC
Found the cache this morning and collected the Luck of the Find GeoCache to speed it on its mission.
Don't pass up on the opportunity to walk to this cache from the township, it's really not that hard and the views are spectacular.

Found on way to Pines. Had a good walk up the hill. Good to see the lake nearly full again. TNLN
Went for a 2 Hr walk today and checked cache on way, all in good condition, droped off motorbike.
TuarusSix and I were in the area earlier in the day, but I didn't have signal for my phone and hence couldn't query the net on local caches. We came back later in the evening and saw the last of the sunset from this place.
Found this one with grandpa. Love seeing the lake full. Pitty our boat is still not working:(
Found on our great caching trip to Mansfield and beyond this weekend.
Have never been to Lake Eildon before - truly beautiful area. Very clear views from GZ.
Thanks for this cache - Left one travel bug, the other just visited SL

Nice view. Found with kids and cousins took snake, notebook and trackable left poker chip and keyring
On a morning walk/climb decided to check the cache & drop off a trackable. Cache in good order etc thanks to fellow cachers doing the right thing. Lovely morning and lovely view, trees are growing fast though!
Rode up to GZ (the hard way via the rough track) whilst the geo-family swam in the lake. Last time we were here in 2003 the water level was well down. Cache easily found and I grabbed the TB before heading down to cool off. Thanks Kay2team
Great spot this is our first visit to Goughs Bay such a nice place. Found with Hearse068, Thing no1 and friend Megs. SL TNLN TFTC
Was a good walk on a hot and muggy day, watch out for the bull ants. Found with Hearse068,Thing No2 and friend Megs.TNLN SL TFTC
Found with Thing no1, Thing no2 and friend Megs. A great walk although we did take the long track and there was lots of bull ants and it was hot and muggy it was all worth it when we got to the top and the cache. SL TNL2(skeleton and TB) TB is seeking the sun and I thought this was a great spot to get some sun TFTC
Thanks to the efforts of 'Kay2team' we would have not probably come to this location with its marvellous views. An easy drive up from Goughs Bay beforehand then a short, sharp walking climb to the Cache with its grandstand seat over Lake Eildon. Great location for a Cache. A thank you note for the caching notes. Found with Dylan 7a. TNLN.
