Looked under every tree whilst being eaten by mozzies even after spraying myself with repellant!! Unable to find the cache
Good find in a lovely bush environment. Took me to an area I didn't know existed. TFTC.
South of the border enjoying a nice break for the Australia Day long weekend, today we are heading back towards Tweed Coast and fitting in a few searches along the way. Sun's warming up a little now! Signed log and replaced as found.
While holidaying at the Pottsville North Caravan Park, my son mazza151, my daughter pinkypie05 and myself decided to do some caches. We parked the car nearby and went for a walk. A nice easy find. My kids didn't take anything but we added a couple of swaps. TFTC!
While holidaying at Pottsville North Caravan Park, my mum mnance101, my sister pinkypie05 and myself decided to do some caches. Nice spot. TFTC!

On holidays camping at Wooyung again this year - a fabulous spot we found because of the geocache there!!! We loaded the GPS with caches as we don't have internet access when we camp - it's nice to go completely 'offline' for a while
We attempted this cache last year but it had been muggled and all we found was an army man lying nearby. It's nice to change this into a smiley face this year - all good with the cache now
Thanks DRML for the cache

On holiday from QLD to Kingscliff. A quarter hour of wrong sited bush bash was quickly corrected by a more thoughtful Goldant, who spotted within minutes. Great wee spot, thanks!
Staying in Pottsville for a few days to explore this section of the NSW north coast. Walked to the environmental park from our unit and as the co-ords were spot on we had no difficulty finding the cache. Thank you. Enjoyed the walk to the environmental centre (closed) and the bird-life. A bit paranoid about the mozzies after learning some carry the Ross River virus. No hanging about!
the gates were shut when we arrived but thats no impediment to finding the cache. looked in various obvious spots before finding the right one.
all good with the cache today.

This was our fifth and final cache for the day, we arrived just as the sun was setting so we had to park and walk across the bridge. This Cache looked as though it was going to take some time but as it turned out we found it pretty quickly.
It looks as though the cool weather and nice breeze kept the reported mozzies away. As it turns out this is our third DRML Cache, cheers.

A beaut day for getting out and draining the batteries. Thanks for the fun. The mozzies were really hungry!!
Thanks to DRML and clear skies from TeamAstro.

HAHA! Oh my dear faeries!!! As soon as I spotted this cache I remembered that I should be wearing some sort of anti-blood sucker spray! While I bunny hopped around, smacking myself, Dav81 went back to retrieve the Ross River repellent. A short spray from chemical goodness and I was happier to sign the log.
Thanks for the cache DRML

Heading home after attending friends' wedding in Byron yesterday. What else to do but move gradually northwards along the coast and pick up caches along the way. Out in the open but made it a little more disguised before we left.

Out on a mission to play I Spy with IolantheK today. We had collected all the clues we needed and were now meandering very slowly towards GZ collecting caches along the way.
A short walk to GZ. A nice quick find to keep us moving towards(or currently actually away from ) our goal. The mozzies were not too bad today. They did not quite manage to carry us away. I was doing the mozzie dance by the time IolantheK rehid the cache though

Road tripping today! teamdfl and I are going from Brisbane to Byron Bay or bust! I left my place at 6am and I got home at 10.40pm! 400+kms, 27 caches for me (including 5 multis and 1 puzzle), several beach visits, about 10kms walking all up, a railway bridge and tunnel, and then photos of the lighthouse and moon to end up the day. An awesomely mad day out [^]
Love the title of this one! But the mozzies here are rampant! Much slapping happening A quick find, and onto the next one in this park. TFTC, DRML, Doozies & SlinkyMalinky.

Disabling due to reports that it's missing - will be down that way to replace before the end of the year!
We were camping at Wooyung so went off to find some caches in and around Pottsville today. Had to have a look despite previous logs...
Well, we sort of found it... we had the right spot because we found a little army man swap!! So although we found the hidey hole, there was no cache with it
Oh well, we'll just have to go camping down this way so we can put our names on the log sheet when it's back up and running !!!

While staying at the nearby caravan park I had time to check this one out.
It resulted in a fairly quick find.
I swapped an elephant for an American dime, fair swap don't you think?
TFTC. SL.
Cache condition, perfect.

Lovely spot to hide a cache, can remember riding bikes with my kids through this area for many years while holidaying, wonder if there was caches there then............. TFTC.
A nice quick find for us today. Thank you DRML for the cache. A lovely little spot here. It would be a nice walk along the track here but today it's raining and so we just stopped long enough to find the cache and sign the log. Perhaps another day we'll take a longer walk. NINOSL.
Pulled in here hoping for a quick find and that is just what it was. I looked in a couple of places and then spied from the path the cache sitting in it's hiding spot visible from the path.
After replacing the cache I made sure there was a little cover so that hopefully there will be no problems from the wrong sort finding this one.

Driving Through Potty (as one does) a quick detour into the park to pick up this little beauty. Thanks to Slinky Malinky. To Paraphrase Mark Twain (Apologies if it was somebody else ) "Nothing was born in vain but the mosquito came pretty close".
Out for the day walking in the park. We walked almost to this cache and went back only to find on checking the GPS there was a cache close by. Stopped on the way out by road to do the cache and battle the mozzies.

found during a visit to The Northern rivers area. quick easy find. good one.
Catching up on logging after a long christmas break. This was the start of my push south to home. The traffic was manic as it was another hot day so I had to limit my stops. TFTC DRML. [1506]
Found easily. Wow the mozzies really give you a hard time even though it's windy today. TFTC

(Late logging of Find - 1/2/13) Found with MAP's and Cookie while on a road trip North.
Nice to be able to share the driving rather than having to pedal.
I think MAP's found this one.

Visiting from Newcastle, house-sitting in Kingscliff, enjoying the area, TFTC DRML!!
For some reason while we had the co-ordinates in the phone we had no description nor hint so the challenge level was slightly higher.
Mr Petan spotted this easily - the cache was hiding in a logical spot and somewhat exposed. We covered it up slightly better before we left.
Thanks for the cache.

Ran in the light rain across the bridge. Favourite type of hide where there are no people to dodge. Thanks DRML
