Logs
As there's been either no response from the cache owner, no cache to find or log to sign, or it's been a number of months since the last owner note. I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace/make available the cache sometime in the near future (next 30 days), just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the current guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it. Should you replace the cache after 30 days has passed please create a new cache listing so it can be reviewed as a new cache.
I had downloaded this Cache some time ago and didn't have any reference to the problems.
Walked up to it on a great afternoon to be out and about and was disapointed to find the log in the condition it is in and the trackable missing. I made an imprint on a page.
I can see now that Ministro has made a reference to it and hope the CO takes action soon, it's a great location.
I visited a group of trackables and will advise the owner of the missing trackable that it is not there.

Not realising this was disabled as my GPSr isn't 'live', I drove by after visiting a friend in the area. I found a road that went close by the cache and parked. It was raining and wet and dark as I made my way to GZ. The path was puddles in places and even getting to GZ was a challenge with fallen trees in a few places.
Got to GZ and checked the hint. Did some searching not wanting to get to much like a troll and then after rechecking one spot, saw the cache. Grabbed it, and then realised how wet it was. The lid doesn't seem to be closing properly. I tried to add a signature and took a photo for the CO if needed. Replaced everything again. No need to add maintenance log as I see it's already underway Another nice area of Sydney, thanx for this one braelair, TFTC.

The cache is currently being upgraded and will be returned to GZ on approx 17 June.
Went looking for this as our first cache today, couldn't find it. Husband even went for a little off the beaten track looking in all directions. Have a feeling it's been stolen or washed away. Husband mentioned it looked like the bridge had a temporary fix placed, so may have been taken by repairers?

yes we found it but cant sign the log it was full of water, poured out and replaced it but it does need replacing now probably after the recent heavy rain TYFTC
I would say it's a pretty fair bet that this one isn't there any more, given evidence of the water being at least a metre over the path on the walk in, and the amount of debris trapped underneath the bridge on top of the rails that support the boards. The bridge definitely went under in at least one of the recent downpours.
No sign of the cache. Maybe washed away in the floods? Looked in all the likely hidey holes at GZ. Lots of flood debris all through the Troll's abode. Only mossies and a big black snake!
A nice stroll from Coming or Going and always nice to have a a cache situated in a more bushy environment. The path was muggle free today wich made searching a lot easier.

Found this with the kids on a caching trip in the morning before driving to Newcastle. Lots of crawly wildlife in this park. We had a water dragon almost give us a heart attack or we him? Great spot for a cache. TFTC. Took TB left TB
Watching the kids play at the park when I realized a cache was nearby. Pointed them in the direction and it was quickly found. TFT.
Quick find this evening. Gps was pointing a bit further from the GC location but managed to find it easily enough with the hints. TFTC
Nice quick easy find & cache is safe & dry still....lots of mozzies around today though....TNLN....T4TC...
Well, surprise surprise surprise ..... went for a run this morning and cheched the cache location, imagine my complete surprise when I checked the Trolls haunt to find the cache high and dry and exectly where I last saw it ..... all is good in the land of Trolls!
Once again I am going to have to do a heap of maintenance on this one to protect it ..... expect it back up just after Christmas!
A quick find, as it was sitting up in the spot I thought it would be. The log is still damp and no sign of traceable placed 3 days ago, I suspect this is a high undesirable muggle or troll haunt, as evidence of entertaining has taken place. TFTC TNLNSL
Found this one whilst walking around the track, appeared as if the muggles had found this one with the container laying open and only the log book could be found. The log book was a little damp from the recent rain however I could still log my find, I replaced the cache where I thought it went. Might want to take a look at it and replace the log. TFTC
On a cold, wet, blustery Sydney day, I threw caution to the winds end ventured once more into the reconstructed Troll's lair. Once more their be a method for those intredip souls who venture thus, plus badges and Troll booty to swap ..... but beware, he lurks close, beneath .....
And Frippy's Mint to Travel Geocoin is now winging it's way hooooome!

Unfortunately I have been advised that the bridge and path at GZ are still under repair (council is taking its time), but I will provide a further update by 19 Sept 2011 as to the repair progress. My apologies for all those desperate to pit their wits against 'le' Troll'!
GZ is still undergoing repair work. By the looks of it, I am expecting another 3 weeks yet.
Seems that the local youth are intent on destroying ANYTHING in the area, screwed down or otherwise. The Troll's bridge has been extensively damaged (read vandalised) and, as advised by a fellow cacher, the cache has done the bunk! I will leave this one disabled until the bridge repair works are completed.
Find#707.
Heading out today to grab a localish cache I pre-checked the logs and noticed the note from last week that the contaner base was missing, but the log and lid were still there, so I grabbed the spare base I had laying in the ute (found at a park many months ago and kept "just in case") and headed off.
Found it OK, and luckily my base was the right size, so this is back A-OK.
(I will msg the CO to confirm the exact spot it is in too).
Thanks for the cache, another day ticked off the calendar too.
I then headed of to sucessfully nab a batch of GCA movable cache Gnomes.

An interesting bridge here, spotted the cache fairly quickly, and was soon on my way after signing the log.
Thanks braelair, keep 'em coming.

Went back in daylight hours - no sign of the troll and there the cache was! Found 4 trackables, which I though was a bit unusual. maybe the troll left it there? TFTC.

At about 10pm, and with really boring cricket on telly, I decided to go GC hunting. I parked about 200m away from the GZ, and armed with a torch and my GC goodies, I set off to find the cache. A party was in full swing at one of the adjacent houses, with much laughter and music. The path veered into bushland and an immediate change was apparent. Giant cobwebs started to appear and as I walked along the path, these spiders got bigger and more threatening – some were as big as my fist! As I approached the GZ, I noticed that it got eerily quiet – no animal or insect noises and the noise from the party and the nearby road has totally abated. Suddenly, a furious commotion erupted and something scurried off in the bushes and in my torch light – which has now gone significantly dimmer – I thought I saw a glimpse of the troll as it disappeared in the darkness. With my blood rushing and adrenaline pumping, and knowing that the troll is temporarily gone, I jumped into its lair to find the cache. With the smell of decay all pervading, all I found were more spiders and they were all staring at me! I am now really nervous and I though I saw movement out of the corner of my eye – a ghostly apparition appeared at the edge of my feeble light – but it was fortunately just a tree trunk. Suddenly, I got attacked! A mosquito bit me on the leg. I now feared for my life and decided the prudent thing to do was to beat a hasty retreat. Dodging the cobwebs I scrambled down the path. I had the feeling that something was following me and when I looked back, I though I saw a dark shape veering off into the bush. It was with a sigh of relief that I got to my car. The party was more raucous than ever and for some reason, my torch light was strong and bright again. I rushed home – only to be confronted by a far more sinister and malicious danger – the wife! But that’s another story….
