M25 came here some time ago and couldn't find it. This time, we're all together, and after a little bit of searching, m14 found it, finally adding this to our list of finds. Whew... log all good and signed here. TFTC.
Must be difficult, didn’t find. Great spot though, cache sounded very interesting, shame.
The kids thought this one was hilarious. Couldn't get the actual cache out of the hole, but the log came out. Didn't want to write or even unroll it as it's a bit wet but took a pic. TFTC
First find for the day, new what to look for . . . . Co-ords were bout 8 meters off. But found, signed and returned. Gets a fav
Wandered down here after a coffee. GPS wasn’t really pointing me to anywhere distinctive. Read a few logs which helped steer me in the right direction. When I found it I realised my tweezers where in my other bag but luckily my friend had a hair clip to get the wee cache out. Yay. Tftc
8054 After an event today I had some time before I picked up my daughter so collected a few caches in the area. Walked around in circles a few times before finally spotted the cache. As the log was full I replaced it with one I had in the car. Thank you for the placement.
Cache #6 today (and #855 overall). I was very surprised to walk up and find this one straight away! It was indeed very small, and there was zero space on the log, so I've attached a photo. Just as I was about to replace it some muggles came walking down the road, so I had to pretend I was studying the road signs until they moved on. Thanks!
Finally found it but we did have to trade some secrets about another cache to get a hint about this one. GPS was about 10-15m out for us.
Log a mess so we didn't sign it, but we did take a picture.

I'd spotted the recent logs on this one, and feared for the worst after a previous finder declared the host/post had been replaced. Parked nearby and headed to indicated GZ and had a smile as I immediately cottoned on to the hint meaning and checked 'there' first. I spotted the wormhole quickly and extracted the log. Alas, it is only a wet squidgy thing so not able to sign, nor replaced, so put back and headed off. T F T C andersonboyz
An unexpected lull in the work expected of me for the day meant I was able to get out and about for some exercise and a leg-stretch before knuckling back down later in the day. Despite the terrible weather on the day of howling Nor-Easterly winds and smatterings of rain showers I managed to stay dry, and on my feet. 16 cache finds, a few DNFs recorded and a couple of previous DNFs redeemed as found this time. Thanks to all COs.
In line with the NZ Geocache Reviewers guidance on what Covid Level 3, Part 1 looks like, geocaching IS permitted, but there are not to be any events or any new listings. It seems the NZ Covid website has failed to maintain pace with Lockdown level amendments and changes and is still lumping Geocaching in with Orienteering and other gathering type activities. Just passed where this cache used to be, but unfortunately the post was replaced, so, sadly no more cache over here. It was a sneake one though.
Knew what we were looking for based on past log activity but couldn’t find it! Bit wet and we were all in jandals. Will try another day!

Out with NZ Travellers, NewlynFam and laval for a walk from Long Bay to Devonport (although we only made it to Takapuna as we ran out of time with all the stopping along the way ).
This one took us a little while to find and we did attract a little bit of attention but averted that and soon found where we started but missed it on the first pass!
Thanks for the cache.

In training for the Tongario Crossing and we deiced along with Keylev, Laval and NewlynFam we would walk the Long Bay to Takapuna coastal walk as practice and of course get some caches on the way.
First one of the day.

Saturday visit in Long Bay. Reading previous logs helps. Did not sign the log but got picture as a proof of my find. Small indeed! T4TC
Crikey was expecting a long search but pitched up at GZ & the first place I looked, I found. Love it when that happens. Log full & had no spare paper on me, so signed AV where previous signatures had faded. TFTC
Finally found it, before a comeback there I thought I little and realized that there was one place where I didn't check, also my GPS wasn't work properly because the trees, and it was exactly where I haven't check before, hehe. The logbook was full tho.
FINALLY found it this time.. so tiny and truly a great hide!
No more space to log so took a photo instead.

Wow, this one seems to be a great challenge, despit the size, hehe. I'll try again.
As it was a long weekend and today being better weather than yesterday, work having been done around the house it was a chance to get out and find the odd cache in the company of 11HPG11.
Today we managed to find a grand total of 58 caches with only 9 DNF's along the way, and even managed to be home by 4,30pm so as not to annoy Mrs Dragon too much (although privately I believe that she may rather enjoy a day at home without an annoying husband being about the house).
Setting out from Hamilton nice and early meant that we managed to locate quite a few caches without any traffic to contend with, in fact Auckland is rather pleasant at this time of the day without both people and vehicles to contend with.
Once having located the cache it was just a case of retreiving the correct extraction tools from the car and the cache was signed and returned to its hide.
Thank you to all the CO's for their hard work in making this day possible, in both the placing the caches and maintaining them. We both had a great day.

When Cats&Dragons suggested a day in Auckland collecting a few caches I was very keen. When I checked the weather forecast I wasn't quite as keen. Determined to stay dry I packed all my wet weather gears and my gumboots. Was happily surprised to not need any of this and we were treated to a stunning day of great weather and great caches. Logs were signed with either HOAC or a combination of our names.
Didn't take long to spot the cache but extraction took longer. Luckily C&D had a well stocked tool kit and soon found something to do the job.

What an awesome find! Definitely the smallest cache I've found yet. A read through the comments definitely gave us the necessary hints for this one. A quick look at where it made sense to be and there it was. Tools were definitely required for extration. Favourite point for creativity, TFTF -
Sun was out and it seemed like every Muggle was on a mission to make this harder. Had to park next to GZ to give us some sort of cover. GPS was definitely a bit out. Thanks Jess? for finding this one. Very awesome cache!
A tricky little bugger. Took longer than I'd hoped and i got muggled by a dog walking their human. I couldn't get my name on the log sheet so just put BJ.
Was totally beaten by this one, last visit, but with a bit of research and thought, I had it very quickly today. Log very full so had to grab a spare spot. Tftc
Came over this way this morning to grab a few caches round Torbay and started here. The co-ords had me searching in the wrong area til I read a few logs and then started searching what had to be the hide object. Even then it still took me a while to spot the nicely hidden cache. I always carry an appropriate TOTT so the cache was soon in hand...in fact I spent more time getting the log back into it. Nice work here AB's, giving an FP. TFTC
A little challenging to find but then it all made sense. Great cache. Log full and didn’t want to take existing so left it as is.
Wow-such an impressive find. Had to makeshift an extraction tool from what we had in the car. Very good!
Been meaning to get this one for ages. Seemed difficult so read the logs and suddenly it made sense. TFTC and the challenge
I tired to use the Internet to figure out the hint, but even Mr. Google was stumped. I started to get an idea from a previous log and, when I tested this idea, I found the cache. TFTC.
Very clever wording used for this one!! Great cache hide. Also found co ords to be out. Log full had to sign our name over top of other names. Fav for such a sneaky hide and wording. Log signed b&p. Find number 4313.
Thanks for the cache andersonboyz.

Tiny. Stopped by on way to Long Bay this afternoon to look for this one. Spotted it ok first inspection, but thought "no, that can't be it" and broadened my search before taking a closer look. Thanks!
Out and about taking advantage of the beautiful weather to engage in some geocaching activities. This cache looked interesting so I made sure to stop by on my way to Long Bay Regional Park. I had a read of the cache page and after one false start it all fell together in my mind and I soon detected the item of interest. Used my trusty TOTT to access the log sheet. Cheers for the cache placement!
After a dnf find yesterday decided today's walk would bring me back here. After reading over logs last night thought I knew where it was. So with extraction tool in hand set off. Ah ha yes there it so used extraction tool only to have it pop out. Hunted around the debris on the ground to find it. There it is ..not use the extraction tool to get tiny log out ...what !!! No log book. Oh no must have shot out when it popped from hidey hole! Doh!,, hunting again is that it ..no rolled up leaf ...hunting hunting great found it. Signed log waited for passer bys to do just that return to place and be happy I found it and head back to retreat. On a retreat here from Melbourne with atraversiamo .tftc fav point from me
After reading the logs first, we attempted this cache without GPS and found it very quickly . Smallest cache we have ever found - very cool !
On a return visit to the GZ, I sat and thought about it further. I didn't even bother with the GPS coord's this time round, instead just searched the obvious place from the clues and sure enough there it is. Needed a suitable tool to extract but soon had log signed and returned between local traffic. TFTC
Well this certainly was a tricky little wormhole to find. Co-ords had us focussing on a place that matched the name but nothing was popping out at us so after an extensive search I resorted to PAF who pointed us to a place I had briefly searched which was 10m away from where gps was pointing. A more thorough search was made, and there it was. What a tiny cache!
Got to GZ and spent quite some time trying to locate this cache. With 4 pairs of eyes it had to be easier than this. One of us did a PAF and with that support we widened our search. Finally had the cache spotted. Needed some pliers to extract the cache as the wet weather had caused things to swell a bit . One tiny cache.
Out doing a walk from Long Bay to Campbell's Bay with Merlot58 and Jag50 getting caches along the way. We searched in all the possible wormholes between trees, but couldn't find it. Had to resort to PAF, Who pointed us in the right direction, which was 10m away from the coordinates. With such a small cache I don't think we would have found it without help. It was a very cool cache.
I semi attempted this a long time ago but quickly got put off by coords that pointed into someones proporty and the sheer number of people around. Today it seemed quiet as I drove past so decided to look again and surprised myself by going straight to the cache. Had to return to the car for a tool but it was only a few meters away.

Wow I am so pleased to finally get this one ! Was here about a year ago with Ric and we hunted for ages .....to no avail ....pure frustration !
So I don't know why I came here tonight in the dark ...but I was in the area ! Looked and looked at many trees ....gave up , was just driving away when I looked back and saw something and had a "moment " !
Yuuuuussssss ! Found it ! Sooooo tiny ! But got the log out no problem .
A favourite thanks andersonboyz !

I didn't think it would do me much good to come back here! I had to sit in the car and wait out a walker going by, in the mean time, I thought about the title more, in-between two trees, the post has all the answers! With that thought in mind, off I went and lowered myself to the cache, had appropriate tool with me to do the business... cheers for the cache.
Like others my gps pointed into private property. Thought about the hint more before trying elsewhere and there it was. Extraction was tricky but got it in the end without loosing too much fingernail.Tftc
Gave this a decent search I think, but kept watching out for the walkers everywhere, so I soon got tired of this and left after 20 mins.
I didn't really have time for a proper search here so left it and went on my way.
Grabbing a couple of caches in the Torbay area to keep our daily streak running. When Scotty read out the information Kiwi quickly located hide due to having found a similar cache the previous week. Needed TOTT to remove. TFTC
Frustratingly didn't find it millions of mosquitoes around though. Will come back for another look some time with mosquito repellant.
This was grat fun... it took ages getting the hide out... A favourite point from us for the quality of the hide. t4tc
This sounds like such a great cache so I am bummed to have missed it. My GPSr was insisting the cache should be just inside the fence of the property and I wasn't keen to trample the vegetation. Thanks anyway.
Looked for this one long and hard with bkj97 and Little Blue Hen - but no success. They returned again the next day and got their well deserved smiley. A helpful suggestion was passed on and I returned on the way to the MEGA sunset and BBQ with the Seagnoid to find this tricky little item. Only then did the Seagnoid recognise the meaning of part of the hint. Phew, what a challenge - it would have been disappointing to leave Auckland without finding this one.
The last throw of the dice, just time to find a few more on the way back to the motel after the Sunset BBQ. See gonefishing's log for more detail. That only leaves having to pack my bags before heading home tomorrow morning. TFTC
[green] Edvern had been caching in Long Bay earlier and got stumped with this one. But this time she has an additional hint. So back today for the barbecue event and we stopped off here for another go. Found it this time, really nice hide. Must be a bit of a maintenance bugger, given the log sheet size!
Had a look for this on the way to the nearby sunset BBQ event, but couldn't find it. After chatting to some locals at the BBQ we were able to come back after dark and quickly lay hands on it without even using a torch.

We stopped off to get this one on the way back to our motel after the nearby Sunset BBQ event. Reading the previous logs we were expecting to struggle with this one, but it was a piece of cake! We immediately spotted the cache, signed it and were back in the car within 30 seconds!! Deserving of a favourite point just because so many people have DNF'ed it!! Love these tricky ones.
Had a prolonged search yesterday and the DNF nagged little blue hen so a return visit was required. No idea why we missed it yesterday. TFTCSL
Had 5 of us searching for it but no luck this time! will have to try again another day
Yes. Yes. Yes. This time I got it.
With many thanks to Andersonboyz for taking pity on me and giving me a nudge in the right direction. I'm pleased to cross this one off my list.
Didn't have a pen on me to write on the log, but I was there. Clever cache.

Another trip to Auckland and my third attempt at this cache. The clue made no more sense this time than any of the others. Guess I'll have to think some more.
Been here once before and searched and eventually found it, but didn't realise we had at the time. Second visit was more successful, tricky little number but thanks for the cache
Oh boy this was a fun one and we learned a lot about the neighbourhood ... The group was all over this little piece of ground for quite some time. During the time we meet a lot of people or been watched knowingly by them. None gave up any hint or any clue to the Wormhole. When we finally made the find we were so happy and relieved not to leave this one with a DNF....
Found with KiwifruitsNZ and alpenmilch80 on our big day of tackling the geocaches in the area. A fantastic day of walking in both rain and shine, some friendly competition between team members, and lots of laughs as usual!
This was a great adventure! We were standing around GZ, almost landing in someone's residential property, and there were a lot of passing muggles asking if we were trying to find the Wormhole Between Two Trees geocache! This only made us more determined to find the cache.... Eventually, one suspect (very cleverly, I might add) figured out the clue, and then another soon spotted what was most likely the offending object. After using a tool to remove what was very well jammed into place, it was clear that this was our "Eureka!" moment. Wow! What an amazing and creative cache! Earns a favourite point from us.
TFTC andersonboyz (and the encouragement from your passing family members) and thanks for the company, both alpenmilch80 and KiwifruitsNZ!

We decided today to cover the Long Bay area and joined Vamber and alpenmilch80 for what turned out to be a long, but incredibly fun day. The standard events of a KiwiFruitsNZ/Vamber outing were all there - mud, geo-graphically challenged team members, the ongoing threat that someone would lose an eye to a branch, team members attemting to take short cuts to caches (though the usual suspect was surprsingly well behaved this time), the odd scrach or bruise, a few risks beeen taken, and, most importantly, a lot of laughs and friendly banter (even witnessed a high-five that I never thought I would see!)
This was the undisputed favourite find of the day! It had everything - puzzle solving, muggles (and boy, were there muggles!), advice from the passerbys who knew what we were doing, knew where it was, and then proceeded to tell us that "my brother hid it"! Eventually found it, took a team effort to extract it, and we were still talking about it 3 caches later! Thanks andersonboyz for making our day!
Thanks to alpenmilch80 and Vamber for an amazing day of caching! Bring on the next outing!

11/05 Couldn't find it after a long search. First time geocaching tho. Will try again later
This was our first day geocaching and we found it! It was so hard but it was awesome to find very sneaky.
Finally found this one, although I never would have if I hadn't reverted to a paf. Once again the gps indicated into private property, but having been told where to look I ignored it, and soon found the cache. Wow! it sure is a teeny tiny one. You drop this one at your peril that's for sure.
Searched for quite a while here, but coords were pointing me far into the property. I tried all the spots on the outside, but couldn't seem to see a spot close enough to coords. Perhaps my GPS was being funny...?
I was dreading looking for this one as the gz is quite exposed to all comings and goings of the locals. The gps didn't help much, as it was telling me to go into private property. (which I didn't) May have to PAF on this one, so as to not spend too much time on a fruitless search in the open.
