We had just enough time (we thought) to do one more series on the way back to Vegas to catch a plane back to Alaska, so we chose the phonetic alphabet series just up the road. After finishing it, we thought we'd do just a couple in your series and we picked up the 10 or so going west. We looked at each other and said, "maybe we have time for a few more." So, we drove down to the end of the road and headed back west, telling ourselves that we would quit at a certain time. Well, we liked it so much that we finished that stretch of the road before heading on to Vegas. These are nicely done, with spot on coords. Love the names. Thank you.

4:00pm, out with Bocono, G-Ma-O and my wife, trying to put a little dent in some of the local caches that have been on our list to do for a year or better. Big Grin
If and when you decide to do this series, bring some 2 liter bottle caps along, the sun out here is not very kind to these caps, the CO would appreciate it.

I decided to turn my boring 5 hour road trip into a fun 12 hour solo caching trip. I finished Primm, Baker, Yermo Road and few in between. Picked up lots of smiles. Thanks for a fun day! tftc

On my way back to Vegas from Oceanside, I had a blast doing the Yermo trail and several other caches in the area. Thanks for placing this one so I could find it with the Sun shining and winds blowing strong today! Big Grin TNLN/SL TFTC!!

My wife (Buffy the Cache Hunter) and I rented an RV for the long weekend so we could do the geo-art in the Mojave. We had a blast walking from cache to cache. However, it was tough going and after two days, we were beat. Plus, it was an extra hour from home. So, we parked the RV along Yermo Road and rode our bikes. She rode out and back for 20 miles. I rode 8 miles out and then cached my way back. The bike was great for this. I was able to grab 3 of the caches without even getting off the bike. Some of the caches need new caps -- Someone should bring a handfull of soda bottle caps.

Wow what a trip! Humboldt flier and I hooked up as team STNY to do some caching in the west. This will be our 2nd trip out west together and 3 or 4 trips for each of us total. Something about the desert seems to keep calling us back. This time our target was the Route 66 trail plus interesting caches along the way. We also focused on solving some puzzles to add to our non-traditionals. We logged a total of 1167 miles on the rental car! Now that's a lot of driving. The weather was spectacular - mid 60s and clear, clear skies. Cold at night (well cold is relative - while I was out in the 28-30 degree nights it dropped to 7 degrees for a HIGH in Chicago so 28 wasn't so bad after all!) Many, many thanks to you, DJAlan, for placing this cache to keep us entertained. This is cache #42 of 363 for the day.

Dear Cache, Wow what a trip! Team STNY hooked up once again to do some caching in the west. AKiteFlier from Chicago, Illinois and Humboldt Flier from N.W. California have invaded the deserts of the American Southwest. This will be our 3rd. trip out west together, with multiple trips for each of us as members of other teams. Cold at night. Thanks for the leg stretch. Thanks for the fun. Many Thanks to your owner for having placed you. TNLN SL TFTC

Found on holiday from Australia for 4 weeks and heading into Barstow and Las Vegas to do Route 66 and then the ET Highway. Another trail too good to pass up, decided to attack this at night, completed it in 2 hours. Great to get another USA smiley.

Thanks for all the hard work and time it took to place all these caches. Ultrahide and I went on a 10 day epic camping adventure through NM, AZ, CA, NV, UT and back to CO. We ended up with 1,744 caches including 32 virtuals, 6 WIGs and 5 events after 3,080 miles. We had a great time finding these caches. We signed the log as Team NOCO and a TB number. I wish I had the time to log a personal log on each cache like normal but there are way too many to remember the details now. Thanks for the cache. Happy Trails.

After doing the R66 Power Trail who could resist another one, we found this series was slighty harder and had to think a bit more as well as the varied cache hid and place ment also made it tricky to use the rolling cache log method so we had to adapt every now and again , but for the most part it was quick finds just a bit more leg work required
A great warm down from the Power Trail thanks
Another day in the Barstow area we have completed the Route66 series now exploring the area.
Signed our logs using team name: SAM : (Sol de Lune ,Albida and mtrax)

US12. Back into the swing of power trail caching, this one proved a bit different to the R66 ones, and had a few challenging hides along the way. Thanks.
