Archived hunters - spoke with a previous finder and can report the cache has gone AWOL. Don't bother coming and looking I spent thirty mins here

09-Jun-15
Due to constant destruction and muggling of my caches. I have decided not to maintain this cache and am archiving it so that someone else can place a cache in the area, and geocachers can once again enjoy visiting this location.

Perhaps it was because I never saw the bees Red Face last trip but it ended with a Dnf, though today I found the bees and the cache after a short search. Retrieved, SL then replaced as found before moving back out of the area to finish off the series across the road (and down the other end). Thanks to Allied Pranksters for the cache.

I was out and about on an early morning caching run and this one was on the list.

This one had me going round and round for quite some time Surprised. I found the bees but they were still sleeping and did not bother me Big Grin. My iPhone would not settle so I put it away and widened my search area and managed to get my hand on the container Cool. A nice camo here that is worthy of a favourite from us Big Grin

Allied Pranksters - jinta29 found your cache Wolfgang on 16/12/2014 6:26 am. This is my find #2530 and find #3 today. The cache is in good shape and we replaced it as found. Thanks for placing this and bringing us to this spot!

This was straight forward cache while doing some of the Masters & Minions series. I'm loving how Geocaching brings you to areas that you would have never bothered going to.

Thanks Allied Pranksters for placing this cache.

WOW!! Is that old tree full of honey? It certainly is bulging and there has to be hundreds if not thousands of bees in that tree. I know a few bounced off my head as walked past it.
the cache was quickly discovered, log book signed and returned safely to its hiding place.

Big Grin Some free time, Razz so I thought I would do a short caching raid in this area, it was a lovely day for a walk. Wink

Defusing bombs and logging caches for the nearby series, this cache was along the way. A very nice spot, I liberated Philip the GPS rabbit from this cache, he will travel with me for a while.

Nice walk along to the cache - FelixII find it before me... Signed the log. Thanks Amstradkid.

Mr Felix is working on a super urgent work project at home away from the work phones and the callers saying, " Is it Finished yet! "

So of course Mrs Felix was fed up with tiptoeing around the house attempting to be quiet! Never mind all the household jobs she had to do, but of course house work isn't silent (vaccumming, washing etc)

So when banished from the house what would you do? Go caching of course.......

So when telling Everlasting my tale of woe last night, she offered to join me today! Okay where shall we go? Lets do AP 092 - Ap 100... Okay I said. 1 AP is the same as another isnt it?

Hmmm 5 minutes later when my befuddled brain caught up, there was a niggle in the back of my mind..... a little voice saying don't do the bomb series.... it will haunt you!

Okay so we parked the car at the designated parking spot to do 95, 96 and another Wolfgang.

The trick was to navigate along paths to get to each without bushbashing! Well my Magellan decided it was a kaleidoscope so navigation was done by eenie meenie minie moe!

Arrived at this cache by good luck rather than good fortune. Luckily enough we found the cache without too much drama. My GPSr was really looking like a boat anchor at this point. Power off. Batteries out. New batteries in turn on. turn off. turn on...... hmmmm

[:(!] After yesterday debacle I had missed this one, so while I was in the area I decided to get this one as well, arrived at the path entrance to Jandakot Regional Park to get to GZ, after walking 400 odd meters to GZ, I had the cache in hand in a matter of minutes. TNLNSL TFTC/TFTH

I put the coords for this cache into my sat nav system, and it took me to within 300m of the cache, where there was an opening in the fence, and a trail leading in the right direction. So I parked the car on the side of the road, and followed the very sandy, and very curvy kangaroo trail pretty much all of the way to the cache. When I got within 10m of GZ I found a lovely limestone path that was straight and flat, and seemed to end near some houses not that far away... hrmph, thanks sat nav!

Anyhoo, I made a very quick and easy find of the well sized cache. No swaps today. Thanks for the walk and the cache AmstradKid!

We enjoyed the walk to the cache down the small tracks and met up with the main trail just before GZ. It was nice to get a bit of a bush walk in today as the other caches have been fairly suburban. We have enjoyed the great variety of cache styles you have provided for us today. TFTH

A 750m each way hike in the heat with high anxiety as it was apparent from following the fresh footprints that we were not the first along this track today. However our luck held and the cache was located complete with the target Caitlin's Frog geocoin still waiting for us. Took TB and left TB "Bling Bling".

A nice way to start the caching new year with a first to find on the first cache for the year. *FTF*
The cache was found in the first place I looked and the bees were spotted on the other side of the track as I departed.

Dropped off Caitlin's Frog decoder geocoin, before going on to find Caitlin.
Once back at the main road I met up with Chwiliwr as he went in to hunt for the cache.

Thanks for the cache and the hunt.

I had just arrived home when I checked the laptop in the car and found that some caches had been published some time before as I was driving up the freeway so worked out that one was close enough to go and find. On arrival found hhheddy about to leave so talked for a while and then went in to find the cache.

Found without trouble and dropped in a TB.

Thanks for the cache.
