As Californians we had to see this! Nice hide. Cache could use some repair. TFTC!
TFTC. Out to play for the weekend with the destination of Nelson. Caching crew on board were Karma Reprint, Team_Gaters and TheWanglers, logged as PKTT for this trip. Gosh did we have fun looking for caches, most of which we found, in this very beautiful part of our country.
Oh no day 3 of our Nelson cachathon. Today was about tidying up a few loose ends, having a great time and heading for home. Four very excited kids!!
Well crafted cache with a sneeky placement.
Thanks BuzzTasman for placing the cache.

On a big mission up to Nelson over Show Weekend with Purdiepurdie, Karma Reprint and Team_Gaters we signed our cache finds as PKTT the 'power packet' but we called ourselves the 'G4'. We headed off on Friday morning at 4.30am. After a good nights sleep we had a few more puzzles and caches to grab before heading back to Chch. We did have more laughs, and visited some spectacular spots. We ended up driving about 1200kms this weekend. Great fun!
Quick find, onto the next...
Thanks for the cache.

Found it with Paddle Chick a long time ago, then was with Sir Belac for his find now finding it for myself TFTC
Love it!! Found it on a nice Nelson sunny day whist in between shift at the Honest Lawyer!!! TFTC!
For the sake of sanity we set off with sonia26642 for a crazy geocaching trip, aiming to cache until we drop. The main destination was Nelson and the ‘surrounding’ area, but then we ended up covering a few miles in three northernmost regions, plus a few in Canterbury. We were signing/stamping the log as 'Team Polak' or ‘TP’ for the two of us on this trip to save logbook space. We found a lot of different caches, city ones, road side, park side, up a hill and on an island, and we enjoyed every single one of them. It was good to be a professional thingfinder for a few days!
We had great fun and are grateful to all CO’s who placed caches for us to find, and help restore our sanity before returning to our other non-geocaching lives!!
Come and join us the next New Zealand geocaching MEGA event!! Register your interest now at www.nzmega2015.com to receive newsletter updates and be the first to know. It will be a great event, come and be a part of it!!

This was one of the most epic weeks ever, and definitely my most epic caching week ever.
Me and mum headed up on a holiday north to Nelson and very wider surrounds. In total during the trip, we found almost 500 caches! (470 odd I think, but final results are yet to be in! ) We covered about 3000 odd km I think too. Crazy! And had our absolute best caching day ever too at 160 found. Spend 9 days travelling, caching, and having the best time ever!!
So sorry about not so epic logs, as otherwise this would probably take me the rest of my life to log, especially with two big events to organise coming up! Eeek!!
Almost every single log we signed as 'Team Polak' to avoid needing to write out both usernames taking up space on logsheet - as well as precious caching time!! Haha.
Consec caching day # 706

I couldn't find this one a month ago. No trouble this time as the camo is ailing along with the Californian. Still a good find though, TFHC.
Impressive - the tree, the hide, but not the nearby house. Thanks for this well crafted cache.
This has been bugging me for a couple of weeks now, but a quick stop on the way to work and a chance glance from a slightly different angle showed me the spot. A great hide; thanks for this one.
Glad to turn this DNF into a smilie today. We now know that what we found was part of the cache but the cache was not where it was supposed to be. A quick find today on a beautiful sunny day in the area. [red] Worth a favourite point.[/red]

Our son said what a good hide this is so we had to come and check it out for ourselves and it sure does get a favourite from us tftc
It's a bit big for a real hug, but I did try! The house above is very close and I am sure that have seen what is going on. Found early morning. TFTC. http://www.geocaching.com/images/icons/icon_smile_cool.gif
Makka pakka 2 went out to day to see what he could find and look what he found TFTC The makka pakka 2s went to Stoke to day to see the model display at the Stoke hall then up to Isel house. And ten caches on the way
Looking looking looking. Looking right at it. Unbelievably clever. A real favourite. Tftc
Why hello there you sneaky little cache! It's a beauty thanks Buzz, I really like the "camo"
Found this cache on an outing with my Dad - Biggles - and geodog - Fozzie. My dad gave a slight nod in the direction I should look. Thanks, Flying Phoenix.
Today I Went for the 100 caches in 1 day. With a very early morning and just breaking even at lunch time with 50, it looked like it was going to be 12am to 12pm. But after a move out of the city they started to speed up, and i managed to grab the last at 20:30 with 106!! Thanks everyone for the caches that they have placed, from the ones that have been planed for months to the park and grabs
Searched for this a while ago, but it is a bit exposed to a busy road during the daylight. Returned this evening and soon had the cache in hand. Brilliant!! A favourite for me. TFTC
Definitely one of the cleverest I've found. Caches like these make it all the more fun. Cheers!
Found this one while I was working! Got some nice help from another cacher because he saw me searching Tanks for that
btw. very nice Cache!

Our third unsuccessful one today. A thorough look but no prizes. We thought we had it but the little top had nothing under it. Will have to return if I am not ailing like the Californian.
In town for a wee holiday. Mr G grew up in Richmond. Wee dudes tucked up in bed with the Grandparents in charge. Out on a evening/night caching adventure with my Sister (mum2jer).
Mum2jer had already found this so stood back to watch our antics. Soon captured the tricky wee blighter. It wasn't in the correct place or position......we repositioned correctly but CO may want to check it. Nice tree!

Running early for a meeting in Stoke, took the opportunity to grab a cache. Hunted for Octopus Tree first but seems it's gone so headed up the road for this one. Took a wee while before I had it in hand. Cool hide, TFTC.
Must have visited this lovely tree at least 4 times. Determined that this would be the day, spent ages looking then Paddle Mum walked away 8 or so meters and picked the container up off the ground. Signed log and replaced it
What could you say ? Tender loving care pays dividends & really appreciate the loving attention to detail of this cache ! Noticed the house at the back just as much as this tree. Wonder if the residents notice all these tree lovers.
Since we live just north of California, and one of us spent many years going to school in that state, it seemed only fitting that we should look for this cache. Took a few minutes but we were soon signing the log. Thanks!
I guess this tree is getting lots of cuddles because it was looking reasonably well today and worth saving too. La Kedi spotted something not quite right and voila there was the cache. Neat hide. Thanks BuzzTasman
That truly is a grand tree, and the first sequoia I've hugged! I'm happy to say that to my non-botanist's eye, it doesn't look ailing at all . A careful and slow circumperambulation of the tree helped me notice something slightly out of place, and gently testing, we found the cache. TFTC, BuzzTasman. =^.^=
GOTCHA!!!!!! At long last after several attempts. A very clever hide. This one gets a big favourite from me!!!!
YAAAY!!! After over a year of trying this one we FINALLY GOT IT!! we had looked at this particular spot but the actual cache wasn't there many times. Awesome hide, love it!! Thanks!
Outstanding effort here, Well done, worth the favourite for sure!
Always helps to check your bearing.. if you know what I mean Mr Bean.

After several fruitless visits finally managed to find this one. A very clever hide. TFTC
A clever hide, took me a few minutes to find it. Loved the old house behind it too, almost fits with cache title as well.

Set out with Hazedarus to do a couple of caches to complete a challenge and found by the time we called it quits for the day we had signed 17 logs which included some very clever caches, this one easily falls into this category. TFTC.
Caching with Holymu. We set out to just do one or two caches to finish a challenge. It turned out to be a very productive day with 17 logs signed without even trying other than staying in the sun and soak the autumn rays. Nice one. This has to be one of the craftiest hides I have come across sofar. Tree was interfering with GPS but the tenacity of Holymu paid off. TFTC
#3538. Stumbled on the cache somewhere it shouldn't have been. Put it back where it seemed to belong. Great camo. TFTC.
I found something interesting, but it wasn't the cache. StreetWalker found the cache, but it wasn't where it should have been - we put two and two together and worked out how the cache was hidden. Great camo!

Tried over Easter break with furpurse, Mum & Dad. GPS to jumpy under the tree. I found something interesting but it didnt seem like it. We moved on the try and beat our daily record. Thanks
Clever hide. Now perhaps I can find a tree cache in my home town that has been eluding me for some time.
We have tried this one sooo many times and still a DNF for us!! We are totally confused because so many logs have said it was an easy find! Not for us, it continues to frustrate.
Wow. What a cool hide!!! My second visit today. Last time I convinced myself it wasn't there. Continuing found logs told me I was wrong, so today I refused to leave til I found it. How come I didn't see that last time!!! TFTC
Found while walking the dog on a hot, blustery afternoon. Pleased to finally find this cache on my third attempt .Brilliant hide.
Nice camo, glad to have a couple of locals with me to point me in the right direction. Cheers!
Flash new road, about time they joined the to ends together to save the zig zag through the back streets. Nice camo, a bit different. TNLN Thanks

The last find for X-mas day, we have surpassed the 50 a day minimum so relaxed for the next hr before bed time, nice specimen, had to be a bit stealthy in the dark.

Nice hide, especially as working without a GPS lately. A good classic geocache. TFTC
