Good simple find needs new container very rusty

After a little taste of the 2 bays trail, I started the slow rd home, and the weather was perfect to pick up a few cache along the way. It is so much easier to fossick around when no one is around. TFTC

Heading into Mornington on an errand for a sick relative, so of course had to find a cache on the way. After a short walk it was a quick find. Was nice to see the tunnel and water course up close. Cache and log need maintenance - managed to squeeze my name in amongst other names on the log sheet. Thanks for the cache Mr.Coffee and the Coffee Clan. I wonder if your mum swam through this waterway?

Our for an early morning cycle grabbing a few unfound on route. Very quiet here at 5:30am. Been under before but never had a closer look. Impressive engineering! This was next while on today's walk along this section of the Mornington Peninsula. We didn't want to hold the group up too much so a peek at the hint was required after which Al nabbed the stash at 11:25.TNLNSL, although our BYO pen geocoin had a visit to mark the occasion. Thanks Mr.Coffee and the Coffee Clan.

Our walk along the Bay Trail took us right past here so after a short search the cache was in hand. Signed log with Eudes at 11:25amthanks Mr Coffee and the Coffee Clan

Heading home from Dromana after this brief holiday, didnt find this one last time I walked by since I didnt have a pen on me, this time I did so I stopped to make the quick find. Log signed and replaced as found.The lid of the container no longer attached properly so it could do with some touch ups, but the log is nice and dry still.Tftc

I missed the event n0w0rries had there, so it was good to see it at last.The cache was an easy find, but a harder grab due to ham fists, but I got it in the end.Thanks, Mr.Coffee and the Coffee Clan.Oh, and there's the last 50 points I needed for this month's Wheel of Challenges badge. Sweet.#7903---We wandered into the bistro at the Pro Shop right near where we're staying and asked what the meal options were."Just a few snacks... but we've got a carvery at one."That's right. It's Sunday.And now I need to work off the pile of pork, turkey and roast veggies I just had.Well, a walk around the marina should fix that.

THIS IS FLIPPING INSANE! What a great spot for a cache.

This is what I love so much about geocaching, discovering places and local knowledge you won’t get anywhere else.

Spot on coords and hint brought me to this simple but effective hide. With signing duties completed it was on like Donkey Kong as I went deep underwater. So many cameras - this would make a great webcam cache too!

Wow - your mother’s story is incredible, what a great tribute to an amazing athlete.

Last cache of the day as we came to explore this interesting spot. Cache was located away from GZ, we have replaced it according to hint. It is in a case.

On our way down the Mornington Peninsula for another lovely weekend my husband stopped the car beside the Safety Beach Yacht Club to watch the start of a small keelboat race. I took the opportunity to go for a short walk and find this cache.

Across on the ferry on the king of date days with SueHut.
This turned out to be the last find of the day. Although we attempted two caches in Frankston, both were DNFs, and by that time SueHut was done and dusted.
I wanted to come here to show SueHut the aqueduct. My son and I did a bike ride around Port Phillip a few years ago as a Scouts trek. Despite extensive research into the route, no-one mentioned the "tunnel of death" here.
Regarding the cache. We found the log book, but it is containerless. Is that as intended? If so, the size attribute should be "other".

Today was a family day and as such not really a geocaching day. However our plan was taking the puppy to the beach. I knew the Tassells Cove dog beach was pretty good for letting your dog run free.

Lots of people there and we just fluked some car parks. Then we all had a great time in the sand and water. Afterwards we went thru the tunnel to get ice creams. Pleased 1 member of the family had a pencil and we rushed to find this one.

Quick easy find that I saw when we turned around. Was surprised to not find any container, just the log book.

Been looking for this one for ages! So glad to have finally found it!

There was nobody around, unlike on the crowded beaches, so I was able to make a quick find. Nice spot for it!

I was looking forward when I read that someone from the Coffee Clan has recently replaced the container and now feel awkward reporting that it looks like it's already gone missing again. But the log book is there and in good condition and for now that's all I need for a smiley face!
Plus this is an awesome spot. Both for walking along the boardwalk and playing "which one would you choose?" and enjoying the nearby doggie beach. Interesting construction, we love coming here.
LOTS of people out and about today. Thankfully GZ is wisely chosen away from the bustle. Overall a great cache, thanks Mr.Coffe & Clan, fav point from me!

Dropped by today and although the cache log was in the place it appears someone wanted the container. I have fixed it up and lets hope all will stay good for a while. Cache all good.

Due to the current 5km travel limit for the stage4 Covid restrictions I am still unable to perform maintenance on this cache but as soon as travel restrictions are lifted I will sort this cache out.
