This cache provided an excuse to break up my long drive today. It's a nice area that I had to myself. It wasn't the quickest of finds but I achieved success before I started to think that I may not.
On our way to Dunedin mega. Stopped for lunchtime. Nice area but deserted. Found a lovely coffee nearby for an ice cream. Both container and logbook were in good condition.
CaptainVimes and I have crossed the pond to attend the Geo Toroa mega in Dunedin and tour around the South Island for two weeks.Quick stop here to stretch the legs. Thanks drawp and happy caching
A slight detour while on our way to Christchurch. A bit of rummaging around before uncovering it in the leaf fall. Took a few moments to extract the logbook from the container. Thanks.
Parked overnight at the racecourse nearby, and headed past this way today, nice quick find here, TFTC
Stayed over at the Geraldine racecourse so went for a stroll to this cache. Took a while to find.. lots digging under autumn leaves. Cache all good and dry. tftc
Another Orari cache found today. We camp at the Racecourse regularly. Just the right distance for a walk here and back this cool but sunny Winter day.
Cute little cache! Had coffee at the nearby cafe and decide to check out the domain. GPS is a little off.
14:53 Watch out anyone who's wearing a shirt! There's a "shirt diversion" going on here! Parked up at the wee hall, that had some old people dancing club going on. Music was cranked up and the couples in there seemed to be having a ball of a time! Anyway, I hate dancing so I didn't linger too long in front of the wide open door so I wouldn't be dragged in Cache quickly located and signed.IN - [Obi : Travel Kitten](https://coord.info/TB6V5TC)Kia ora! Paldies! Thanks for the cache, drawp!#10195
Took longer than it should have! Thanks for the rain to explore and find little gems like this domain.
Stopped for lunch at the nearby cafe and wandered over here to find this cache. Didn’t take long and squeezed a TB into the container.
Thanks for the cache, drawp

Out for a drive to get some caches for the last part of the reach the peaks challenge. This was a nice and easy find. Thanks gir he cache.
Searched all the trees on this side of the fence then over I went. I noticed all the trees here had been searched too. Stood back and cache beckoned me. Thanks for bringing us here drawp
Had the day off today so had to find some caches so headed down Temuka way. Nice day today
Never knew this domain existed. Logbook replaced and put in snap lock bag. With reshamfiriri. TFTC
We stopped at the domain for a tea break on our way back home to Christchurch after a glorious autumn weekend in Tekapo with perfect weather. The cache was quickly found. TFTC!
Out and about to collect some new smilies on my map. I made a good loop today and visited some great spots and this was one of them. TFTH
Day 5 of our SI(17) days road trip. Stayed last night just around the corner on muff rd at a very nice bnb.easy find as exposed so recovered well.tftc
Found it- family tree tracks back to around here so stopped by to look around. TFTC
Today I was out and about on a very specific caching mission. My objective for the day was to accumulate enough missing 'minutes' qualify for the South Island 300 Minutes Latitude Challenge - GC8RQ1G. I started collecting missing minutes at S 44 03 and ended up down at S 45 15. Second cache for me today. It's definitely there but it's not a 200ml container. Took me a wee while to locate it checking a few possible spots before I finally got my hands on it. TFTC, Biggles.
Found with kwaka40.
Nice to finally get this one. Gps was consistently taking us over 8m away from gz so it took us a while but once we found the right spot it was easy

Found with Wilson#41.
Gps kept leading us to the wrong spot but we had spare time to widen the search and eventually found it.

Sad to see that this domain does not seem to get too much use nowadays. Looks like great playing equipment for the kids a bit rusty and the tennis courts have not seen a ball for ages. But at least the cache was still in place. TFTC
On our way to catlins.
According to our travel book good food and caches around Cafe Mes Amis.
Easy find

A quick find today and so much easier on a week day. Last time I tried it was a busy weekend here.
Out with Busy paws today, stopped here at a convenient picnic table for coffee and cake. Had fantails flitting around. We realised the cache was just over the fence from where were were so we went off to get it and sign the log. On the way back over the fence Busy paws was mid straddle across it and a black fantail landed on the wire right in front of her and proceeded to tell her a very long story, very funny to see my Mum mid way over a fence talking with a bird what a cool memory to have! TFTC!
Such a memorable cache for the fantails. One totally black one, was adamantly telling me a long loud story, just a half metre away. I just happened to be straddled at the time, just too involved to move and spoil the moment!! What a wee sweetie tweetie bird! TFTC by the way. A Fav
Having a weekend in Queenstown visiting some friends, so decided to make a bit more of the trip and transfer a rental car from Queenstown to Christchurch and go the long way along the Southern Coast of the South Island, mainly focusing on the Virtual caches down here, and anything else I head past.
An early start from Dunedin so I could get to Christchuch in time to find the CANZ South Island Semi-final cache. Stopped of here to for a rest, and to stretch the legs. The cache was a bonus.

A nice quick and easy find. Please be very careful as there is a nest with a mum and very young chicks at shoulder height. In a tree very nearby. TFTC
Found with nissan 65. Flew in from sydney for a short holiday. Hoping to see as much as i can on the south island and pick up caches along the way . Thanku for the cache.
Our last cache for the day before heading home to ChCh after a 5 day break....A couple of muggles plus dog soon moved on so log signed. Have enjoyed caching around the Geraldine area but will have to come back sometime for more. Tftc
Staying nearby so an after dinner excursion to pick up some caches in the area. A nice quick find here. TFTC
After attending the Oamaru Geofeast we are now heading back to Christcurch. Caching with Di Morgan and doing this series while in the area.

I just couldn't find it which was annoying as it had been found recently. I searched the base of every tree in the area.
Oamaru -
Left Oamaru today heading for Christchurch, we cached with Happy Feet 1 during our time here.
We found caches in some amazing places, travelled along some great country roads.
Started the Thompson Track, planning of finishing this in the morning.
