Had a spare couple of hours and targeted a couple of cache and ALs with nearby areas of interest. At this one I found place to park about 250m north, no other cars around and I was alone on the beach for a walk south to the GZ. It was a very windy day, surf was smashing the rocks! Near the GZ I found a tree which I thought was obvious for a hide and started a search. Only after a few mins I read the recent CO entry and decided to go much deeper where the find was made quickly. Replaced under natural camo. Thanks for sharing this location ControlFreaks #2985
Tftc. We've been here before and got a DNF. So when I saw there had been a replacement placed, cache we came for another try.
Left Geo dog at main track. Beach is absolutely pristine and hardly anyone here
Was in the area today with some time to do some geocaching. Noticed that this one had been replaced recently ( yesterday ), so thought I would have a look. All was good, thanks for the cache and the maintenance. tftc
Coordinates changed from:S 28 24.618 E 153 33.852Coordinates changed to:S 28 24.624 E 153 33.850Distance from original: 38.0 feet or 11.6 meters.A new container in place as the old container seems to have gone missing. A slight move away from the track.
Has been lots of local flooding after heavy rain but the cache is lovely and dry. J opt solo geocaching while F,A and R try their luck at fishing. TFTC
I took the wrong path in, but soon corrected that. Then went looking for the item in the hint. No luck. But spotted under the remnants on the way out. TFTC.
We are now heading north to avoid the coldest of the winter weather in Victoria. Loving our time around Gold Coast and along the coast, scooting about on our bikes. This was one of the finds I made.
Stopped off here where the container was found out in the open and undone. Signed log and repacked and replaced in appropriate place.
Thanks ControlFreaks for placing this cache and doing the maintenance, so we can enjoy finding it.

28/5/23 came in on the wrong path but a quick bush bash had me at GZ for a quick find. Beautiful day to be out and about. TFTC
Nice new container. Also dry. Thanks for bringing us here. N had a boogie board. HN
Finally got my hands on this one. It seemed to disappear before I could get there each time, but at last it stayed long enough for me to find. Thanks for your efforts to keep this one alive.
Another one that has disappeared - seems to be systematic!. Replaced with a temporary container.
Although my GPSr was bouncing around, I found GZ thanks to the hint. Unfortunately, as per previous searchers, I couldn’t find the cache. Referencing a recent photo, if I were doing a cleanup around the area, I would throw the cache container away, thinking it was rubbish. Could I suggest a legit cache container (bison) perhaps hanging somewhere nearby might save the cache?
Spent the night down this way catching up with old friends.
Popped out for a spot of caching while the wife was checking out the towns clothes shop.

While visiting from Brisbane undertook to do some of the caches I have not found. Being on the right track helps but, hey , the beach was beautiful. Quick find. TFTC ControlFreaks
Out finding a few caches with Richmond Lad. This cache was quickly located and the log signed. TFTC
Trouble and Strife Street is the home of the Ankh-Morpork Recovering Accordian Players Society, who are to be found at the Sign of the Accordion at number eighteen. For those seeking to avoid it, this runs between Whopping Street and Cheesemongers' Yard.
5 for our trip to Queensland to settle the original Katey Bear into university. TFTC

We definitely found the spot (great spot by the way) but the geo cache isn’t there (as previous messages indicated)
Cache co ordinates and hint took us to an obvious hides-hole, but no cache to be found. Nice location though.
Great little find / we would have never stopped here and glad we did to see the beach!
Gorgeous day on the GC and nothing to do except print out some border passes and raid NSW for some smileys like CacheAtilla!
Had intended taking the Geojeep up the sand track to the path to the cache but there were two you fellas in a Camry with red P plates buried to the underbody in the soft sand blocking the track. Parked just past well off the road and walked past the car and told them they had a bit of a problem. Felt sorry for them as We had done the same stupid things at that age. We had a snatchem strap in the truck and was going to offer to pull them out after getting the cache but the driver said he had called a mate who was coming with a Hi Lux. the wonders of mobile phones, no more walking 10kms to find help!
Walked up to GZ and quickly spied the lair. All good with the cache. We walked to the beach and watched a sole swimmer getting chundered out in front of the rocks. Nice spot. We walked back and the cavalry was arriving as we drove off. TFTC ControlFreaks

Quick christmas find while beach walking the pooch from Pottsville. Nice placement
Thanks to the coments or I wouldnt have found it. Multiple tracks towards the beach so just needed to find the right one. Beautiful beach too TFTC
Found pretty easily once on the right path. Not fast enough to beat the mozzies and spiltery plants. still good little cache though.

On our way home after a weekend camping at Wooyung and we stopped by to check out this cache. Nice and straightforward, GPS was spot on and only a couple of surfers around so it was straight up , grab the cache and then sit on a nearby rock to admire the view while logging. Left 2 TBs. TFTC.
Thanks for this one went down the wrong path first bit of a cross country then bingo got it. First to sign the new log. Tftc
Had a look everywhere - even on the other track. I double checked with photos sent to RoddyC who confirmed I was looking in the right place. However no luck here. There was an empty glad bag but that's all I could find.
Who knows though maybe I had cachers blindness?

A day trip down to NSW with RoddyC, hatzofff & patrol14 picking up a few caches. Nice hide and beautiful beach here.

Tftc. As we drove back along the coast to Surfers from Byron bay, I was going to log few caches along the way. Unfortunately it started to rain and this was the only cache I could log while keeping myself dry. I checked the obvious place to find it empty. Then I checked it from the other side and yes, there was a cache.
This beach is a beautiful place to walk with crystal clear water and white sandy beaches.
Dropped by and replaced this one. As noted, it can be a busy path so please cover when replacing
Had a really good look for this one. No joy. Saw the spot I thought the hint was referring to. Busy track though so it might have been nabbed.
I set off early this morning to find as many caches as I could from Tweed to Pottsville. This was my ninth find of the day. TFTC
Out for a mini road trip today. With all the rain the forest would be too wet for my usual ride, so caching it is.
It was a lovely day to be out and about. The sun was out and the surf was up.
I took Ruby the Suby almost all the way to GZ for this one. [^] I wandered down to the beach for a quick stroll along the sand before coming back to hunt the cache.
A nice quick find here. Took a TB to move along.

9:55:00 AM. A nice stop off as I headed south. The beach wasn't the best with the weather but found the cache. Log signed. Thanks ControlFreaks for the cache.
Staying at Pottsville South Caravan Park for a few days and after a bike ride north this morning which included grabbing a few caches, thought I should head south this afternoon. This is certainly well worth taking this short walk over to the beach. TFTC ControlFreaks.
I have driven down from the Gold Coast to find some caches before I start work later, so decided to start with this one.
Wow what a stunning spot here, thanks for bringing me here. It's a shame it started to rain heavily as I arrived otherwise I might have stayed longer.
Found the cache quickly due to helpful hint.
Dropped TB.
TFTC!

A bit further along the coast on our little scenic drive, we stopped here to check out the rocks.
Surprised as to how quickly I found the cache, while the others headed off to the beach. Nice spot right on the path.
Took a pterodactyl, left lion rubber.
Interesting spot but too hot in the sun to linger long at the moment.
