Not been there since January and not been replaced, promised action after NM has not happened, no response to request for update.
Any progress? - been nearly two months now (though I guess the storm may have created havoc at GZ since then!)
Seems the cache has gone missing, since the area has been cleaned up a bit. I will replace as soon as I am able.
Add me to the list of DNFs.
Was not hopeful in view of previous logs but I was in the area on other business and all of the other nearby ones I haven't found were either multis I didn't have time to do or unsolved puzzles.

Disappointed, looks like this has been muggled, could see the hole where it should have been.
Nice easy directions and found the spot, but it was bare. Could see where the box must have been, but couldn't find it anywhere nearby.

Came out here for the day after mum saw the Mana event and was completely like oh my gosh we have to go!! And grabaseat and her airpoints were playing favour, so tickets were had!
However I then found out I needed to come up Thursday Friday for work.... so my flight ended up abandoned, but just got to cache extra in Welly instead!
Before mums event in the morning, went off to find a few caches in the morning after checking out of accommodation.
Nice wonders on the beach, and nearby places too.

We were up for the weekend with the main aim to join the Mana Island caching trip, and it would have been rude not to visit some others also! Nice drive up the cost to the coffee event, ad the caches kept up going before the coffee

I've had my eye on this cache for ages because of the name but I've never had occasion to stop in the area till Saturday. While driving up the coast for the Easter weekend, my unexpected travelling companion suggested visiting one of her friends in Raumati South (and as I'm not one to turn down a good cup of tea, I agreed to make the detour), but dear old Em kinda forgot the address, so after I'd driven around in circles for far too long, I insisted on getting this cache (and that Em swallow her pride and make a phone call for exact directions). Some might think that tea solves all problems; I'd say the same for geocaching! TFTC!

Nice fast find on a slightly stormy day out and about with Dolly 73 and DD Jnr. Nice to be back in my old haunts, I don't know how many hours I spent surfing right in front of this site. TFTC.
2nd of 16 for the day (by 12 different COs) after dropping a friend off at Paraparaumu Beach.
Waves were pounding the seawall so it was a dash between sets of spray down the pathway south to GZ. Absolutely loved the day out along this coast.
I hope you get as much pleasure from your granddaughter, GeoGeoKiwi, as I get from my NZ grandson, and hope to get from my brand new one born last month in London.

Found on a beautiful spring afternoon. The nearby concrete walk/cycle way was impressive, would be great if this is carried further along the beach. With metal-art.
Awesome promanade, had the perfect caching partner to try out the wrecking ball like Miley, but alas she was unable to secure herself to the top of the ball, and wasn't game on getting nicky in broad daylight. With Jax479 TFTC

My first one! No pen, and I didn't have one on me so couldn't write in the notebook. Will go back and do so in the next few days, and leave a pen there.
A nice excuse for a walk beachfront. An area we haven't visited before. Interesting for us.

My daughter's first day at college! Dropped her off and went for a walk along the front with my son, who has a few days yet before he's back at school. Found this cache half open with an old t shirt stuffed in it... Removed the t shirt and carefully rehid. Sorry for late log, forgot until I noticed missing smilie on the map. TFTC!
Wet and wild along the beach today (see pics) but fortunately an easy to walk walkway lead me to this cache. Man, I love the beach - thanks for bringing me here

Cache # 1,161 - Took a little snooping to find the cache, when we realised it was very obvious because it wasn't hidden at all. Someone had moved it into the open about 3 metres from the GZ, and certainly in a non-kid friendly location as well. All well inside the cache. Violet Butterfly enjoyed the walk, but the geo baby got heavy in the arms. TNLNSL. TFTC!
Found today with Wandering Dragons. Swapped a Kinder Surprise into the cache for a little star out. Thanks!

Found it no problem. Lovely to see kapiti! I hope you get to see djahli from time to time . Dropped off "Nemo" trackable as he needs to be moving by the sea or water.

parked too far down the road, so had a lovely walk along the beach to get there. love the story behind your cache. Geo-Granma was tagging along with us and she found this one - her first ever find, think she was quite excited TFTC dropped off TB
