My first solo caching trip. A long one down the entire length of the Sturt Highway. TFTC
Found during a caching trip to South Australia chasing specific challenge targets with some easy PnGs or types to boost the numbers. Glad the highway is not as crazy as others and was relatively safe enough to pull over near GZ for a standard and quick PnG.
Found after the Mega Event with tmann421Heading inland to get some more of the trails, picking up whatever gets in the way.Enjoyed the hides. Thanks to the cache owners for their efforts
Another nice find with woolwood9 today. Found while over in Adelaide for the MEGA Event *Thanks for putting this cache out for us to visit. *SL *tm/ww NZ**Soon located, now onto the next one!*
Found with spenna1211 while heading north. Thanks for the Traditional Cache Grandeeze

Found during a quick roadside stop on a drive through the Barossa on my way elsewhere. Thanks for the cache Grandeeze and SnappyTomCats!
On our way to the Riverland for the 3 events in 3 states in 1 day, to celebrate International Geocaching Day.
Our co conspirator Jolly0 caught up with us at this point, so we stopped to grab this one together. She & Carrots got distracted by all the cash strewn along the side of the road, so Peas went in search of the cache. Found easily, lid was missing, so replaced with new mint tin. Beware the roo carcass, it's a tad stinky. TFTC Grandeeze

A jolly good start to what is going to be an amazing long weekend away. I could end up in many different states!
A state of shock , a state of confusion , a state of exhilaration

Well Grandeeze said it! Its really going to be Goodbye Barossa soon as we head further west. Have had a few days in SA now - after plans seemed to be always sabotaged by you know what and border closures its great to be here. Great caches in SA I hear with Fab days to come at this rate. Out on trusty treadles aka my MTB to find a few before the sun goes down. TFTC AND THE FUN
Stopped while I was eating my lunch. A pie and a Mars bar. Thanks Grandeeze for the cache.
Quick find. Tin needs replacing as doesn't have a lid but is hidden as best we could out of the elements

After leaving the job this afternoon, on the way to the motel and needing a cache for today stopped here to look for this cache. Spotted cache straight away in the usual place. The container has the lid broken off but log still ok.

Needing a find for the day and heading up towards Blanchtown for a weekend of caching, I decided to find a few caches along the way. I decided to just focus on a few park and grabs that were on my rout I managed to make a few quick finds before finally reaching my destination for the night. All caches were found in good condition unless otherwise specified.

Today, it was an epic day out targeting various series around Blanchetown, Waikerie and Swan Reach. After making a few miscellaneous stops in the Barossa and Truro towards Blanchetown, my first series were the *Riddlers Roonka Rampage Challenge* and *Ode to JLWE*, and those were found reasonably quickly.
After lunch, the late plan was completing the *Around the World in 81 caches* series, and they were certainly a challenge whilst solo. As light began to fade, I made a stop in Swan Reach Conservation Park, where I found various geocaches and completed the *On This Day (OTD) August* series.
With limited time remaining in Adelaide, I think it was FOMO that prolonged my motivation for such a long day.
This was my first find of the day, and so with an unusual location for this cache hide, I parked on the side of the main road, and managed to make a quick find of the cache. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks Grandeeze for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

Day 436 ( Saturday 7th) of our trip. Caching along the way, in Greenock today. Going to finish off the Five OH run which was too wet to tackle last time we were here. TFTC
Day 3 of our holidays saw us leave Edithburgh and arrive in Nuriootpa. Along the way with the Camper Trailer in tow, we discovered old Cemeteries, Mr IML72's favourite place to cache, as he always jumps out to see if he can find any relatives with the surname LEIBHARDT, BENCH(OR BENSCH), ZIBELL & A'BECKETT
With some roads he was also concerned how he would turn the car and camper around. TFTC

Hello Barossa, pleased to find you. Stopped easily to pick up a quick find here in a typical location. The lid fell off but went back on nicely after the paperwork was completed. Thanks for the cache Grandeeze, such a super day out today.
As Owl was ill for the last Leap day and started caching 2 weeks after the one before, she was determined to make the most of this one. Plans were made and fell apart, but SA Sewer Rats was up for a girls' caching day out. there were finds, one DNF (mainly due to the lack of a suitable TOTT), laughter, lots of talking and a generally fun day was had. This one was nearly a DNF, but the Rat came to a blind Owl's rescue and found it.
Heading up to the Barossa for the night and a few stops needed to be made on the way. Thanks
TFTC Another quick drive by on our home. Log has been signed & dated then returned to its hiding spot
After a few days in Adelaide we are on our way up the Barossa for a few more, caching on the way. After a little detour to visit Seppeltsfield we were back on the highway. Lots of very fast traffic but Mrs S soon found the cache. Signed and replaced and on our way again.
Thanks Grandeeze and greetings from New Zealand.

Found on the way home from Hubby having a Triple bypass. Very cold but so happy to be on the way home Easy find TFTC
Three animals set out for a day of caching. A Rat a Starfish and the Adder. The Starfish however did have an agenda, to seek out and find a few unloved caches as well as a few others that were nearby. On this cold but dry winters day we had success with all but one.
This was an easy find with the cache all safe and sound. Now to say hello to the Snappy Tom Cats and a nice friendly cuppa. Pity Mrs Snappy was elsewhere, we missed out on a hug. TFTC

Day Thirty of our holiday, BettyBoo3747 and I are still at Semaphore in Adelaide.
Today we hit a couple of power trails, an OTD (July) and the Oh of Five Oh.
Lunch in Nuriootpa, and a few travelling caches to fill in the gaps.
We were thinking this one might be in an information bay, but it was just a pull-off.
A quick find and a nice view.
Thanks, Robmc.

#12195. Day 30 of our SA holiday. We had a quiet caching day yesterday so with the weather forecast not so good it was time to take the geo-chariot and try to complete some trails around Nuriootpa with a few random finds along the way. We did the OTD July series first and after lunch we tackled some of the Five Oh Series. A good day with 79 finds and 2 DNFs.
A good solid magnet holding the cache steady here. It hadn't been done for 4 months which surprised me. Signed and returned a little less obviously and off we went.
Thanks Grandeeze

An impromptu dash to South Australia was needed so I could say my goodbyes to my poppy, and I stayed a couple nights with my best friend KBKL. After poppy's service was sorted, we decided a few caches were in order.
Time to drive home and I had decided to get a number of caches en route. Turned a normally 12 hour trip to clost to 20 hours but it was worth it. Managed to get 4 states/territories in 24 hours also
Cache located, signed and replaced.
Thanks for the cache Grandeeze [^]

After arriving at our accommodation in Greenock, and with a few hours of light still available, we headed towards Nuri/Tanunda with iluvtrekking to grab a few last minuted finds. Love the back country road caching - our preferred cache type. Thanks Grandeeze
This morning was our last in Clare from here we headed off to the Barossa Valley gathering a few caches along the way. After checking into our accommodation we headed out again to explore. Thanks for your cache Grandeeze.
Headed up the river for the night we decided to get a few caches along the way.

My sister needed a lift to a meeting, so Brodie and I headed to Nuri to pick her up then took her to Gillmand then back to Nuri again.
I found 1cache while she was in the meeting, 1 more soon after we left for the return journey and then 8 others after dropping her home for a total of 10 finds today
I found a very interesting way into this cache..... almost a driveby with only 70m odd to walk
Brodie came with me and while I found the cache, he found a very dead kangaroo
Thankfully I managed to convince him that he really didn't want to roll in it or eat it!
