Found with goldielover today after doing the 3 Capes hike. Spotted this one on or way out and thought a look was needed.Great spot for your earth cache. Next time we would like to order the tide right to get some magic photos. Thanks for your cache Tftc
Answers sent. Found with stairman1. We have just finished the 3 capes and heading back to our hotel. We decided to grab this one. Worth a favourite point.
Not much spurting action at the moment but really cool to see also around the corner look out was really beautiful and that had a lot of waves going up and down and the little island rock in the middle kept disappearing from you. It was a nice my spot in the afternoon
Nyssaflutterby and I are on holiday for a few days for earth cache weekend and stopped off here so I could check out the blowhole. A quick visit on our way to other locations today. Pretty awesome to see though the seas were reasonably calm today so not very big spray today. Thanks for placing this EC here.
Very cool spot. Love how ECs take you to really cool places. Kittykatch send answers for us both.Tasmania trip 2024 with Kittykatch. Day 4 though we arrived late on day 1. Working to get all states and Territories in a year and counties. First visit to Tassie so excited to experience everything. Thanks for getting me out and about bedmakerTG
TasmaniaJoolay and I have travelled to Tasmania on a caching holiday. We are hoping to see as much as we can in four days and find a bunch of caches. We stopped to check out the blow hole and were not disappointed today. The waves were pumping and the blow hole was doing its thing. Answers have been sent to the.CO. Thanks for the cool earthcache. bedmakerTG
Love the creativity of the signs in town, cant figure out how to upload multiple photos through the app but one of the better signs i saw was "winnie the doo"
On our way to Port Arthur from Hobart for a day trip, we didnt plan to come here. We quickly pulled in when we saw a Blowholes sign and we had a little bit of spare time to do this one and the Adventure Lab nearby. What a lovely day for middle of winter and we enjoyed our visit here. Thanks for the Earthcache!
Great exercise for the kids to find the correct details to complete this cache
Caching our way around Eaglehawk Neck we stopped here to make sense of this blow hole. Answers sent to CO. TFTC
We're here from Wisconsin on a 25-day tour of Australia and New Zealand. This is one of our fabulous stops. We are looking forward to our 3 hour tour of the area on the zodiac! Thanks for putting out this virtual cache and bringing us to this area
[9067] Holidays on Tasmania, day 16. Today was the last full day on Tasmania, before we go to Melbourne tomorrow and finally home to Germany on Sunday. We started at the Remarkable Cave, spent a while on the rocks at the Safety beach and explored the sealife in the small pools, watched some pelicans on a jetty quite near to the beach and continued then to Devil's Kitchen and The Arch. After lunch we split, as I wanted to spend some more time at the historic Port Arthur site and go for the cache in the surroundings. We met again before dinner. It was another great day on Tasmania and this geocache belonged to it. TFTC!
Now I can finally pay my "favorite point debt". I added the FP I promised earlier. Thank you once more!
First of a leisurely cache tour of the area. Pity the weather & sea were in a good mood. But still impressive. Answers sent to owner..
hada great day today..this area was a last minute detour for us and so glad we did..had fish n chips for a late lunch..the blow hole wS was small today. thks for the fun..janjorjack sent in our answers
Day 8 in Australia in Tasmania. We are aiming for all the cool caches nearby as well as many different types. We have found the cachers around here super friendly and helpful. Thanks for the smile
On secondment to Melbourne, Australia, combined with short holidays here and there. Day 33/74, Friday. My mini-holiday to Tasmania! Just four days but better than nothing. Today I woke up at my accommodation in Acton Park and drove - slowly - to Port Arthur for the next night. I visited many interesting places during the day. This was a great day! I really liked this earth cache - it was not too difficult! Many earth caches are way too difficult so this one was a nice surprise. The place was awesome too. Currently I don't have any favorite points to give but I will come back and give this one a FP when I have earned more of them. Greetings from Vaasa, Finland! #2782 This is my day 263, and the longest physical cache find streak so far. I want to see how far I go. I am on a family vacation in Australia, and Tasmania road trip is our main highlight. Today, we visited Port Arthur and found caches along the way. They were filming a Netflix show there while we visited. Thank you for the cache!-crystaloops from Taipei, Taiwan @ February 22, 2024 12:19:07
Great little cache that I could sneakily do because I was here with someone who moans when I want to do a cache TFTC
A beautiful sunny day, perfect for enjoying some tourist spots in Tassie while doing some caching. The ocean certainly is very powerful. Today was reasonable calm, but there was still enough energy in the waves to cause water to fly into the air when crashing on the rocks. It would be pretty amazing to see on a really rough day.TFTC bedmakerTGKeep smiling
I am in Port Arthur to see the sites, and collect a few caches to mark my visit. The "Blow Hole" was definitely a site on my list, and it was also good to get a smiley for visiting it.
We were touring around the area today and we love a good blowhole, unfortunately it was not much of a show today.Answers sent to CO.Thanks for the earthcache bedmakerTG.
Goldy and Jimmy are holidaying in Tasmania for a few days. A quick trip away from our regular life to see sights and find caches.I'm aiming to continue my daily streak and fill some Jasmer grid spots. As well as find some challenge caches and as many virtuals as I can.It was the final day of stay in Tasmania. We were driving from Eaglehawk Neck to Hobart and finding some challenge caches and virtuals before and after our event. We really appreciated the effort by all CO's on our trip. Thanks for having us!Before heading back to Hobart, we came to see what was in this section of the Peninsula. This looked intriguing! So we stopped by. A nice little spot this one.I learnt some interesting stuff here.We gathered our answers and sent them to CO. A photo is attached as well.We didn't realise that all the shacks had names, so our "Doo Town" picture was with the sign at the entrance to the town. It still has the word "Doo" so I figured it wouldn't matter. We had parked semi precariously, so Jimmy stayed in the car while I took the photo. He appears in the blowhole photo though. Thanks Bedmaker and TassieGirl13 for this EarthCache, which brings Goldy's total find count to 3808 on the 13th of November 2023.CITO's are a brilliant way to help keep our community area's clean. The Earth is our playing field and we need to protect it! Always be sure to cache the "leave no trace" way!**South Australia is the place be for GCA1DNA - February 29th, 2024 in Adelaide! Hope to see you at The Great Leap Forward!**
Found on a trip to Tasmania with pineapplegoldy! Some caches have been signed as "Goldy and Jimmy". Goldy has sent answers and uploaded photos where applicable. TFTC
WOW - I had the opportunity to visit 'Thar'She Blows' this afternoon. I just made it as the sun was slipping down in the West and light was fading. So glad I got here, this natural structure is amazing - Mother Nature at her best. Thank you bedmakerTG for setting up and maintaining this cache. PS: The Troll Dolls [TN6TR0] were with me on my great caching adventures today.
Taking some time off to explore more of the apple isle with RoamingHowie. Day Three: Dunalley, Coal Mines, Port Arthur and various caches & AdLabs along the way.
A great location and an interesting lesson. Must’ve been the wrong time of day, ‘cause the water refused to “blow” while we were here. Answers will be shortly submitted by RoamingHowie.
Thanks for bringing us here by placing this cache, bedmakerTG

It was time for a return trip to Tassie to explore the southern part of the state. I paired up with OzHockeyChick for a 5 day caching blitz with some sightseeing in between. Today was Day 3 and it was time to head east towards Port Arthur.
A cool spot to explore but of course it is never the right timing to gather great blowhole photos. It’s a sign of how times have changed as taking a photo of your gps when your gps is the device that takes the photo is a challenge .
Thanks bedmakerTG for adding this cache to the worldwide collection for us all to enjoy.

This is a remarkable natural structure! The power of the sea is incredible! While I was here I took the liberty to also grab a few drone shots of the blowhole from the skies. You can clearly see the blowhole's tunnel to the sea through them!
A place I've visited various times over many years, so aim today to log this as a find!
It was quite overcast, but between showers so didn't need to get my umbrella out.
Seas quite quiet so reasonably calm here today - well, that's my excuse for not having water blowing in my pic.
Answers emailed to CO.
This is one of the many spectacular geological features on Tassie's eastern coastline.
Thanks for bringing me here - again!
Decided to head down to the Eaglehawk Neck area for a bit of caching, picking some select caches and Ad Labs as I won't have time to do them all today - started too late, and need to finish a bit early. A funny day, a repeating cycle of heavy showers, then sunshine, then overcast. Plenty of high-quality hides here.
Thanks Bedmaker and TassieGirl13, for the Ecache and the experience - and just how many "Thar She Blows..." caches do you own?
Cheers, EPs.

One of twenty-two caches found today with Zozetta in the Eaglehawk Neck area. We began the day with a find just outside of Murdunna, then continued down to Pirates Bay, Eaglehawk Neck, Doo Town and the Tasman Arch and Blowhole. We also found two more caches at Boomer Bay on the way home. An excellent day out with many high quality caches found. In total we had twenty-two finds and two DNFs.
One of four excellent EarthCaches that we found today. Answers sent to the CO.
Thanks for the EarthCache Bedmaker and TassieGirl13!

No GPS unit as work off a phone, named shirt I was wearing today at the location.
Not too sure what the street sign has to do with a Earth Cache?
Visiting from WA, did a loop down to Port Author today and made a number of finds. Thanks to the CO’s for the placement of these geocaches for our enjoyment.

Cool to watch the water and go for a bushwalk. Too easy to find a doo sign. They were everywhere! TFTC!
What another awesome example of Mother Nature.
Having done the Bicheno Blowholes yesterday we were super happy to do this one today. It must be a roaring sight to behold at high tide!
Thanks for putting this earth cache here.

We are visiting Australia from Florida, USA for a multi-week vacation which will have us visiting two states in Australia (Tasmania and the ACT) we missed in 2014 followed by 28 days on the Ovation of the Seas including New Zealand and a Transpacific to Honolulu, Hawaii, USA.
Today was our fourth day of the trip and our first full day in Tasmania, with the forecast of a beautiful day we set up a routing to the Port Arthur area and back to Hobart. We had eight Multicaches, three Earthcaches, three Virtual caches, six Unknown caches, four+ Adventure Lab sets on our to-do list, we would also surpass the 1900 Multicache finds milestone today.
Usually it is not easy getting to blowholes, this was easy to get to and even better than expected. Thanks for having us visit, email on the way. tftc!!

After 3 years without any substantial travel, using a trip to Tazzie as a dry run in preparation for overseas travel - travel packing, airline protocols, hire car arrangements, accommodation foibles and of course, geocaching without all our usual gear.
Certainly different to the Peninsula (Bellarine) we are used to, we had a great day on the Tasman, learning more history of the area than we learnt in school, as we found a variety of caches, such as this one. We always enjoy earthcaches - a great way to learn about the local geology.
Info sent to CO
Thanks to bedmakerTG for adding this cache to the gameboard.

Thar She…. Not today, it was a very calm day on the ocean which was good as we just did a boat tour up the coast then cam back to this spot. It’s amazing the history in this one location. TFTC
We continued today our tour in Tasmania, AUS, and thereby searched, found and logged this interesting Earth-Cache.
The weather was - said in one word – simply best. The good hidden caches and the being on holidays kept us the whole day in a good mood.
The cache had good coordinates, and thus was easy to find. The answers were sent.
Thanks to Bedmaker and TassieGirl13 for the generation of this nice cache Thar She Blows (with the proper agenda), for leading us here and for showing us this funny location as well as the ongoing maintenance of this cache.
PS: Please forgive us the uniform log which is needed due to timing problems - if necessary special actions and happenings are there described where they appeared.
Greetings from Germany together with the hope to meet somewhere like event or wood.

A group of us (11) from New Zealand have come over to cache in Tasmania, staying at Hadley Orient Hotel in Hobart for 3 nights. Then later, we head to Launceston for another 3 nights and back to Hadley's for the last night. This is our 3rd day here.
Today I am with G-2, and Pagenz our tour leader, We're been to see Port Arthur and the old convict gaol with a tour and a cruise boat ride around where the convicts were buried. Ominous and sad.
I was the one keen to visit the earth caches so made the effort to do all the writing up and collecting the answers. Love this feature here, but low tide not a good time to see anything like a blowhole, more like no blow. Took fotos of the signs for later perusal and fotos of us at the location. Great info on the signs. Thanks for bringing us here as such.

(Answers sent to CO by gorby on behalf of out team). What a beautiful place, sadly the tide was low so no blow hole flumes.
This two week Tassie trip has been a long time coming. I have booked and rebooked a number of times thanks to sick elderly parents and various covid border lockdowns. My first week was spent sailing a gaff rigged open wooden boat from Recherche Bay to Hobart to join the Wooden Boat Festival. My family joined me at the Wooden Boat Festival and after a few days in Hobart, we headed to the Tasman Peninsular where we hiked the world class Three Capes track. Yesterday was the final day - a long hike with a lot of stairs, finishing with a brisk swim at Fortescue Bay. After a big feed and a good sleep, today we are heading north from the Tasman Peninsular to Freycinet for a day or two relaxing to finish our holiday. Along the way, we stopped here. Answers sent. Many thanks Bedmaker and Tassiegirl. Pete#6,764
Quick little stop. Not much blowing action as it was low tide. Pretty none the less. Thanks for the cache!

A quick stop off here. A nice little walk and trying to guess what the box on the cliff was with some other tourists (Ive added a picture, youll have to zoom in)
After a few nights in Port Arthur, we made a stop here for some sightseeing & fish & chips for lunch. The tide was low & the blowhole was a bit quiet, but it was worth the stop. TFTEC!
A second EC ina row, and one more to find next. Nice interesting place here and was on our visit list. Cheers
Day 6 of the holiday and time to relocate from Launceston for our last couple of days/nights in Port Arthur. Not a bad trip down South, a few runs of roadworks, but no problems and a 10 cache haul for the day.
We had a weeks holiday booked in Tasmania as a way of celebrating mrs capperz's 60th birthday. What can I say but WOW. What an awesome state and was everything we'd seen and heard about this gem of a place. My main PQ had only Earthcaches and Virtuals and aside from an old cache for my missing month stats I only turned the GPS on when we were stopping somewhere anyway, what a great way to tour a place. Managed one complete set of Ad Labs at the airport, and started another 6 adventures with no intention to complete. Over 50 'real' caches were completed and left behind a couple of trackables to continue their journeys.
I will upload the associated pictures and answers over the next few days or so, need to start to make a dent in my finds backlog.
Oh, and thanks to all COs for their hides, much appreciated for this New Zealander.

What an awesome place to visit. Thank you bedmaker and TassieGirl13 for bringing us here.
We had this trip to Tasmania on our wish list very soon after we met. The meticulous planning began a few months ago when we finally set a date to sail to a place that I had been before, but never cached, and for dalerious, a place he cached, but never really got to see the real beauty of this place, and all it's glory. God's country about sums it up.
We started our adventure in the North West and traversed the entire Island in 10 days. We thought the weather was going to thwart our plans, but all it did was change the itinerary a tad.
Where back home was flooding, we had mostly sunshine here; apart from the North of your lovely state, and our thoughts were with those who were affected both here and at home.
Caches here took us to extraordinary places; one's we will never forget.
We also got to meet some cachers; we can't wait to meet the rest .

It has been over thirty years since I have been here and although the sea was reasonably calm the blowhole was working a bit. It has been a nice day visiting the historic and natural sites on the peninsular.
Found with the geofamily on a tour of Tassie. No big blows today as the water was fairly low and calm but still a fabulous feature. Thanks for the cache

In Tassie for a few days with beckNmonts and Earthbound Chief. Have been having a ball and continued along our merry way with some fun cache finds.
Day 4, our final day in Tasmania. The plan was to try and do as many earthcaches as we could as well as whatever else we came across.
Our final day in Tassie for now ended up involving quite a bit of driving, a heap of multis, some ad labs and of course the mentioned caches.
Another awesome spot. Answers sent via Earthbound Chief.
Massive thanks go to bedmakerTG for placing this one.
Big things are continuing to happen! *Are you joining the fun again in 2022?*

Today we studied Thar She Blows on our travels. We are on a lightening fast visit from Melbourne just because…well, maybe it’s all those puzzles we solved during those many lockdowns! Having the opportunity to sign some actual logs is exciting! Our 4 days has been a whirlwind of tree fishing, hiking and lab caching but today Ahomburg and BeckNMonts allowed me some time to indulge my love of earthcaches…plus I knew the theme of this little town would amuse!
Thanks bedmakerTG for being part of our geocaching fun.

We have realised that we have nowhere near enough time to find all the puzzles we have solved for this trip. So what will we do? Today we will focus on Multis and Earth caches instead!
Mazda StarBounceSky, the Standard Poodle, and trip mascot, is enjoying her view of the countryside via geocaching. Apparently it was hard when she lived in the Hobart Airport Bookshop.
Earthbound Chief, ahomburg, Mazda and myself started the day at our now “regular” breakfast spot, to caffeinate for the day, then headed off again with our gratefully borrowed fishing pole and ladder. Today we were venturing further from the accommodation with some earth caches in our sights.
Thanks for the caches and puzzles we have had fun solving, bedmakerTG

We loved this place and enjoyed looking for doo signs. The sea was calm but there was still activity at the blowhole. Also saw gorgeous blue wrens and firetails. Tftc. Giving a favourite
We were on our way to see port Arthur and make a quick detour to see this gorgeous spot. Thanks for bringing us here Bedmaker and Tassiegirl13. Enjoyed our stop over.
Another lovely day out with Hubby to a place we haven’t visited in a long time. Tide low so not much happening in the blow hole today
Great location thanks for the cache - regretting not grabbing a berry ice cream now - they looked great
Visiting from Townsville and beginning our anti-clockwise loop after a couple of days in Hobart.
Quick detour here to see the features.
Nice location. Answers sent.
Thanks bedmakerTG for creating and placing this for us to enjoy.

We have sent our answers to the CO.
Thanks for placing an Earthcache here.
I can only add one photo to my log so I will make another post with the second photo.

Got reminded I'd failed to log this earth cache by Gcoven and JACS team. Better late than never.
Contributing two photos. The first is an ice cream van. It was quite a cool day that the ice cream was left on the stove to warm up before serving to the muggles. The second shot isn't quite the palace that I remember Dr Doolittle was filmed in. Thanks Bedmaker and TassieGirl13 for an interesting earthcache.

While spending three days on the Peninsula, we were fortunate to see some good wave action. Answers sent.
Visited today with geohubby and daughter . A mild and calm day . Answers sent to CO. Thank you for putting together this earth cache. Pics to follow. TFTC.
To end the week in Hobart for Dark Mofo we took a day trip to the Tasman Peninsula. There are so many cool natural formations for earth caches here, and this was our second stop. Sadly, we didn’t get the famous fish and chips.
