Nice find in a quaint little cemetery. Log is very full and the lid of the container is missing, so could do with a maintenance run. TFTC
This one took me a while. Surprisingly there were 2 muggles with their dogs in here. They were friendly but I had to wait for them to disappear. The cache itself is missing its lid and the log is full. I'll send a pic as proof of find. TFTC iamapom
After visiting the library, a short drive down the road to the this cemetery was on the plan. There is no safe parking in the only road the cemetery gate opens to. My Driver left me there and circled until I was finished. The two waypoints were easily found and required information gleaned to get coordinates which were very close. It took a while to find the cache and when I did the log papers were very wet. I dried the most recent one out as much as I could by ironing it with the palm of my hand. I hope it’s in better condition now as I was able to seal the bag. Thanks for the cache!
Lots of interesting history here. Waypoints were easy to locate and the questions were straightforward. I made room for my log on the original write in the rain paper but the logbook does need an update. Thank you iamapom for placing and maintaining The Heroes of Cawdortown for us to find today.

Super cool container, but log is desperately in need of replacement. Couldn’t sign, but here’s a photo to show it was found.
I love doing old cemetery caches such history and so many stories behind them. Found the GZ from the new coordinates and had a laugh when I found the cache. Nice. The log book is full too and will need a new one. TFTC favourite given.
On my way out of Whittlesea and heading back to Melbourne, only a few more days of caching left. Now it is a matter of grabbing the remaining Virtuals, some more Multi’s, some interesting ones, and the ones as I pass.
As I was out chasing multi’s I saw this one and thought why not it looks interesting. I obtained all the information and headed off to gz. While the piece of log was a little damp, I was still able to get pen to paper. What a very cool little cemetery.
I signed the log and returned all as found. Thanks so much for the cache and the fun hide.

I learned the hard way yesterday that it’s not always easy in Melbourne to just “pick up a quick multi” as it is in Adelaide with all the Used2B multis. Especially if you’re using public transport only. Today I have a car and I’m getting in early.
This one was quick and easy once I’d figured out how to get into the cemetery (it’s not hard). It’s a very short walk to the final coordinates and I found the ammo can that was promised, but alas the log is pretty much too wet to write on. Apologies for not having a replacement log on me.
Thanks for this multi iamapom.

Lovely excuse to have a wander around, it's a very beautiful place.
Note to the owner though - I didn't sign as I only had a pencil and it would've torn the soaked logbook apart. I tried my best but it really needs replacing soon. But, regardless, TFTC :3.

I was very surprised when I found it! Good one!
TFTC, a really great multi and walk! Very hot today so happy to have found it!!

A very peaceful place. They died so young. A great cache, gets a fav. I added some new paper but it's probably going to get wet too.
Very nice iamapom TFTC! Never knew about this cemetery so thanks for enlightening us. Only thing is the log is waterlogged and impossible to write on...probably needs replacing with a tighter seal snaplock/waterproof bag
TFTC. Very peaceful spot and fun little multi even if I did write down the one of the clues incorrectly the first time. Log is very badly water damaged and soaking wet.
Took us a while .. great to see some local history and teach the kids .. thanks
After a 2nd visit and a long search I finally found the cache. I think that I just overthought this cache hugely and didn't look in the obvious places. Thanks for bringing me here and showing me this interesting place. TFTC.
Container is cute. Coordinates ping near but not in the location. LOok for the obvious place nearby.
I love multis that work perfectly and this one did. A place that could be easily overlooked when driving past.
Thanks for highlighting these heroes who deserve our recognition iamapom

Spring seems to have turned to winter today. No excuses for not finding a multi. Coordinates all well contained within the cemetery. Signed off amongst the blossom. TFTC
Did not find! Found Alf and other, but couldn’t find the cache itself! Really interesting spot though - taught my 8yo a lot about the war and respecting their resting place. Will come back to find!!!!
Out caching with old friend... she is not old, just our friendship!
Quick little multi. Mojo found it sunning on the ground, signed and put back in its proper spot! Thanks

Thank you iamapom for bringing me back again, it was great to pay homage to two hero's while I find a cache. The ride down from Thomastown was just what I needed. A great hide, I replaced the zip lock and the rubber band keeping the ammo tin together. Thanks again.

At least the rain kept the muggles away as I collected the required info and calculated a location for gz. My coords had me on an unlikely location but a few metres away was a much better looking spot. Quickly found there.
Thanks iamapom for the cache

My GPS took me to Cpl Leake but I couldn't find Alf, I 'll be back, I rode down from Thomastown for this one as I like our Hero's.

Went with rosie_roo, a revisit to a cemetery we'd quite enjoyed in the past! Unfortunately could not find anything at the GZ.
This case was super fun. The kids and I loved deciphering the coordinates and cracking the code. A really sweet little multicashe thanks very much. The container could use a little repair work as it's a bit broken and the lid does not attach properly anymore, luckily the inside bag was watertight!
Really well kept cemetery. I thought at first I was locked out, till finding the gate. Very cute ammo! Sad how young some people died. Tftc!

TFTC! It was really interesting to read the gravestones and think about the lives of the people buried here.
Visiting Melbourne for a few days and just up the road I find this multi. Interesting cemetery. Easy to find WPs and a very cute cache container. TFTC!
Some free style caching by stealth bike today chasing random caches with favorites and a few others in between. It is hard to find the right stones in these caches sometimes but found okay and a cute container. Thanks to iamapom for the placement and fun.

Today was the Victorian geocaching awards and I had a bit of time before hand so I went to find a couple that had been on my list for a while before I got there.
I am still trying to collect multis for a challenge I am working on so headed into this deserted area, not long after I had a good looking GZ but found nothing, looked a few metres away where a cache should be and there it was.
Although the lid comes off, the cache is still fine and sealable especially now that the new log book is also in a sealed plastic bag. Just get rid of the needs maintenance flag.
Thanks iamapom for the cache, the adventure, the hunt and the fun.

Logbook full (3 separate sheets all full)
Back hinge of container also broken, looks rusted through. (Still dry even after the last few days of rain but worth checking out)

Cutest cache ever I hope my family makes a cache out of my grave when it’s time thanks for this
Today is one of my only free days to go caching to get the souvenirs on offer. Typically it's cold and wet and windy. The bonus with this is that no one is out and I had the place to myself. Make short work of the questions and surprisingly found the cache quickly too.
The lid has snapped off and the log is full but otherwise in good nick.
I'm glad I finally got around to doing this one. Tftc

Surprised to find this well kept little cemetery here. Didn't take long to gather what was necessary and locate the cache. Very cute. Thanks for the cache and bringing us here.

With a relatively quiet calendar ahead, I’ve chosen May for my multi month.
Out this afternoon with Mrs Papi4506.
Gates were locked but we were able to find our way to wps and the gz. Such a quaint little cemetery.

This was a nice little multi with some interesting history we were at the Australia day event but bumped into some more cachers here while working it out. Thanks for bringing us here TFTC
Found as group with Sean.75, kenbryl, mark9375, 4bait and diana8. I love multis in cemeteries!! We had time for this quick one after the event. Tftc

Found this cache with a group of a few others, found each waypoint easily and the cache soon revealed itself.
Thanks iamapom for this neat little cache, nice to sit in some shade for a bit.

While we were at the 2nd Wp, we came across some fellow caches and the cache was found as a group. Thanks for highlighting this area. Cigc. Tftc
Well, I can't really claim to have found this with the group, but I'll take it. I turned up just as they were signing the log, so I put very little effort in. Still.....Found it! TFTC!
TFTC, love finding multis in cemeteries and learning about the people buried there.
I love a cemetery cache, especially ones that bring you to little known resting places that you would have never known there. The history of this place as explained in the description is what draws me to these places and it gives me a great way of teaching the kids about many different things. And to be honest I have always been a sucker for an ammo can cache.
After crunching the numbers we arrived at GZ and found a well hidden ammo can. We had a bit of a chuckle, signed the log and replaced as found.
Thanks iamapom for the cache.

This one was close by to where I was so I went in for a look.
As I was walking through I noticed that this was certainly a very spacious cemetery as it wasn't over crowded at all and a lot of space for more people to move in.
I visited the two people I needed to see and collected the information that was needed and then worked on the math.
My new coordinates where close by and I headed there, the only problem was, which I realised later I add used a - instead of a + and that was on the other side of the fence.
So after going all the way around, not finding anything, I then checked my workings and realised what I had done and then headed back to where I had come from earlier.
This time I had the correct GZ and the cache minus its lid was found, after a little bit more of a look the lid was also found and after signing one of the logs I put the lid back on and replaced the cache.
**Thanks to iamapom for placing this cache.**

While up in the Big Smoke tonight we had some spare time to do a few caches before heading back to the other side of the bay. We enjoyed the walk here reading all the old graves as we collected the clues for GZ. Once there we had a good inkling of what we were searching for and sure enough the male triton spotted the container after a small search.
Thanks iamapom for the cache, we must be macabre but we love a good multi in a cemetery.

First multi-cache find! Thank you for this simple but eye-opening cache in the cemetery. I noticed it hadn't been found in a while so thought I'd give it a go. Took 5 minutes to find after working out co-ordinates which were nice and simple. The ammo box is broken and therefore doesn't lock when closed but all is well. TFTC!
Managed to find both of the graves but couldn't locate the container. This 7 year old monster had lots of fun in the graveyard though. Thanks
After failing another Multi today we tried this one. The sun was shining and we enjoyed a big walk from Blyth St on. This time we have been sucessfull. Nice container. Thanks for showing this little cemetery. Tftc
I had spotted this Multi awhile ago but had never found the timing to come and see, plus I have some reli's buried here who share my Dads name so was a bit reluctant to see his name on a headstone just yet.
Today was the day. Beautiful weather and a child who needed so running space. Off to the park with a side trip to a cemetery, why not.
GeoDaughter proclaimed straight away "This is like where Nanny & Pa are dead", I heard a passerby giggle as did I.
After a quick wonder around I had all the info I needed. GeoDaughter followed the red dot and we had our Cache.
I did a bit more wondering and didn't find the above mentioned headstone (Phew). Maybe next time.

Gathered the information and calculated the gz but for us the blinkers must have been on. We wandered here and there for nearly half an hour with no luck. Checked and rechecked the coords and the logs seem to suggest something fairly obvious but no luck for us. Maybe next time
Hmm, a German settlement with a Scottish name. Bit like nearby Westgarthtown, which was originally populated with Wendish settlers (who spoke German). But then, there was Germantown in Geelong, which became Grovedale when the Teutons were not so popular during WWI. Yes, we are Down-Under, where European countries and names can easily get mixed up a little.
Anyway, we parked just off German Lane and paid our long-overdue visit to the cemetery. We did not search very systematically, but in our wanderings today we found only one obvious grave stone for a family with a German name.
Meanwhile, the questions for the cache were soon answered and the massive cache sighted, retrieved, log signed, and GZ returned to its inconspicuous "normal".
Thank you iamapom for creating a cache in an interesting area! (It goes without saying that we are fans of all cemetery multis - who isn't?)

I've driven down this road for over twenty years and never really noticed the cemetery.
A fun cache in an interesting location. Now off to find two close caches. TFTC!

I decided to pop in here on the way to finding a nearby cache. I'm glad I did, and on Australia Day. I found the graves easily, unlike the last two cemetery caches I've done, and quickly found GZ. Thanks, I enjoyed this!
After 2 years of working for the Trust that manages this old cemetery, I have finally paid a visit!!
Had brunch nearby and then Zahleh and I decided to drag the geofamily over to All Nations Park for a bit of caching therapy (which ended up also being a great Pokémon spot - sorry if I offend anyone by writing that in my log but my geoson is slightly addicted!!). First stop, this cemetery.
At first glance the cemetery doesn't appear to be very "full", but due to less than perfect management over the years there have been many garden beds placed over graves and records are quite sketchy. When the Trust I work for took on the management it clearly showed records were not diligently kept in the past, but today the cemetery is still quite popular for visitors and it is certainly an important historic part of this suburb.
Coordinates were deduced quickly by my geoson, and then we hunted for the cache and were wonderfully surprised with what we found! Thanks for a great little multi iamapom, we really enjoyed it!

Our first multi! It was very fun, though a bit tricky because we didn't know how to find out our coordinates! TFTC
Another of my short caching sessions while my son is at an orchestra rehearsal.
Today I was in Northcote and this was the first cache that I tackled. I love cemeteries so I had a nice time walking around, reading the headstones and gravestones until I found the ones that contained the numbers that I needed. I looked around for an ammo can and spotted it quickly. After signing the log I replaced the camo as required.
Thanks iamapom for this little cemetery cache.
