Found the car and went off to GZ, but found nothing there, despite searching various locations. The name of the cache meant nothing to me, so I may have been at a disadvantage. Oh well, on to the next....
After attending the 'West Oz Meet & Greet - Point Walter' event I garnered a hint from a previous finder of this cache and on the way home I decided to revisit this highly exposed location. As this is within a couple of k's from my home I was eager to cross it off the list.
It has been a while since I was here last and there seems to have been some serious garden maintenance by the local council on the area. I scratched around for a about five minutes without much conviction as the area is not as described from my 'sources'.
Might need a check from the CO. ...Still watching...
gradem I couldn't find your cache, this was my 2nd DNF for the day. I did have 9 finds today so all is not lost.

Went in for a look at each light change trying not trample little plants. After 30 minutes gave up the search TFTC will try again when there had been another find .
I have been advised today that the cache is still in place. It has been dried out and is ready to go. Thanks for your help Janine.
We had recently seen this cache had been given the "Kiss of Death", so to speak & our curiousity had got the better of us... Jase was able to come up with some likely co-ords & today whilst having a few kid free hours, we decided to go take a look for ourselves
We were expecting a very busy intersection, but with our enthusiasm to find this cache we were able to ignore the passers by... Well, probably for the first 30 mins It was starting to heat up as our energy was deflating, so we then chose to look in between changes of the lights & that was never going to achieve a successful result!
After about an hour of searching, and ploughing through the sand hoping to uncover the prize we were all but done when we put out an SOS call Unfortunately with a long time between visits, the info was a bit sketchy but put us in the correct spot, which we had only given a small look so far! With our enthusiasm back up there, we worked systematically to find the elusive cache & with a more than thorough search of one particular spot it fell out in front of me! So again the traffic was drawn to us as we jumped up & down in totally amazement of what we just found
Thanks for the challenge Gradem, although it was only our lifeline that stopped us logging a DNF today... Cheers [^]

is the cache still there?it is over 12 month since the owner checked the cache and nearly 3 yeahrs since someone else fond it
There are nine caches within 1 km of my home, this is one of them. And this is the only one I haven't found, has been for a while and looks like it's gonna stay that way.
Worked out the co-ords last week and decided to give it a go early this morning, The plan was to get there early, 1 to beat the heat and 2 I figured there would be less traffic around. So arrived at GZ about 5:45 and spent a good half hour to 45 mins searching the area, found a couple of bits of rubbish but that was it.
Left feeling a little bit dejected. Might be back if someone else can locate it.

Check on this a couple of weeks ago but forgot to log. Still there, a bit damp but should dry out with the coming of the heat.

I was driving past here today and decided to try for the cache again. The GPS was pointing me more out into the garden beds on the Kenwick Link side of the central feature, and it was difficult to search too much in the garden beds with all the traffic stopping regularly at the lights, but I had a reasonable look around and moved a fair bit of ground cover, and didn't spot anything, so I had to leave empty handed again after half an hour of searching. Hopefully I will find this one day
Pretty sure looking in the right spot but couldn't find it after sussing the car clue. Didnt bother moving any woodchip as its everywhere and I got impression from prior comments its more about the hiding spot being quite good. Prowled around inbetween the traffic queues and looked in the places it might be...will have to return with help I think!
Got the email when i just happened to be about 500 mtrs away from the cache. So decided now was as good a time as any (even in the dark). Searched for the cache, yes I did need to search and I nearly gave up , but there it was well hidden. So happy hunting everyone
I got the coordinate but i lostmy paper because my friends dont know where he put the paper.

I was in the area dropping off hubby's car for a service. I found the car and did the maths, and headed over to my calculated GZ. I searched for a little while, but didn't find anything interesting, other than a broken sprinkler, which I tried valiantly to put back together for about 20minutes, but didn't manage. So rather than continue to draw attention to myself I gave up and headed off.
While working out this way I decided to grab a few caches. Well the puzzle part was easy enough but finding the cache was harder. At GZ I could see what was the obvious place but like SCH I hate displacing mulch as this can create a messy look for the area. Had call on some higher powers to find this one, but got there in the end. Placed log in a new ziplock bag. SL TFTC Gradem
I notice that richlink and iluvtrekking made a return visit and now armed with the knowledge that the cache is there, I had another go and can now tick this one off the ‘To-Do’ list.
Thanks gradem.
Thanks gradem.
This was a return visit with iluvtrekking to search or gz again. After the CO confirmed we were in correct location it wasn't long before the well camoed hide was spotted after a thorough inspection.
A big day out aching with iluvtrekking - after all four sets of eyes are better than two. Well that was the theory anyway. We found the 'car', did the math and proceeded to gz but were not able to come up with a smiley. Our only DNF of 35 finds today.
Found the car and completed the calculations, but there always has to be one to put a spanner in the works. DNF with richlink.
Located the car, completed the maths and walk to GZ. Searched the only obvious spot I saw to no avail. The whole area is covered in woodchips so I was not interested in removing and replacing woodchips surrounding every object in the vicinity.
Came along today and my GPSr took us to the same spot as before, but we started to look where we thought might by a good place to hide the cache and spotted it in a couple of minutes. TFTC guys!
WanderingAus wandered by, killing time while the nearby Auto Electrician did a bit of work on the geoPajero, and solved the puzzle from memory of the corner. In a brief lull in the torrential rain I rushed off and made an extremely quick and easy GAFF 1 find.
My find No 3570, TNLNSL.

Arrived at the given co-ords, parked the car and worked out the calculations. We walked to GZ and found the cache a short time later. Signed the log and took a finder card. Thanks for the hunt.
I definitely had the coords wrong and ended up with a security dog growling and salivating at a fence near me. I rechecked and then headed over to a different spot but didn't have any luck and got a third DNF in a row - a bad caching day for me perhaps.

We solved the puzzle but never found the cache. There is evidence of groundwork in the area with new bark, prunned shrubs etc. so assuming the coods are as accurate as mentioned we never spotted anything in the area that looked like a cache.
We did feel a bit exposed looking so we were perhaps not looking intently enough.
We will check back to see if any other teams log DNF's as well before going back out to look again.

Found It!!
Was having look on the phone to see what was closest and this popped up! Don't know how I missed it! Drove past on the way to swimming and got the clue, quickly solved the puzzle with a giggle!! and went down after dinner to search, still a lot of traffic around at 7pm but found it rather quickly.
TFTC and the cute teeny tiny finders card!
Hmmm another cache in our local area that we had thought would be a good place to hide one! I think we had better stop dragging our feet and get our caches out there otherwise all our spots will be gone!! lol

I tried to locate earlier but scared off by the exposed site. Tried this morning and found it straight away. TFTC.
A good location I was going to put one here but was trialing a new cache container for it. TFTC
nice quick straightforward multi....final took a bit of hunting...there it was right on coords...TFTC gradem
Easy puzzle and easy find. I was 2nd again after chiwilirw I was expecting something difficult as it's recorded as a 3 difficulty. The difficult bit is the traffic. Found at 6am and it had megga car muggles even at that time. TFTC and the hide, I am still wondering what all the motorists going to work thought I was doing!
4th *FTF* today. I worked out the required information and, unlike the previous caches, the GPS settled down quickly at the final GZ and I found the cache without trouble and found another blank log.
Thanks for the cache.
