out today with my siblings and dad after helping move the chickens to a new spot in the paddock with Auntie. With the souvenir available is was a good time to find this one. Nicely setup. Found with DadandKidsNz and Cacheclaws. cacheclaws and me had a little squabble. (she was saying burn hose was the hint I thought that cant be right so I asked to look at the hint on the phone but she did not let me.) The logs was very wet, so after a demister blast they are nice and dry. Signed and repacked into containers so hopefully the water stays out for a while . Thanks NZ1 for setting this up.

Day 2 of our caching trip to Palmerston North area with HeMaLuDy, UncleSamNZ, Keylev, and myself, signing in as SEAC or TEAM SEAC to save logbook space. A big thanks to all the CO's for cache placement and maintenance, making this trip the success that it was.TFTC.
Small group of caching buddies drove down from Auckland for the long weekend, and headed for Palmerston North area. Sorry for the generic posts, but we had so many caches to find.Had a great time, with so many laughs. Thanks to all the Cache owners who placed the caches. All logs signed "SEAC" or "Team Seac"
Great lil easy find while walking the TA, though nearly walked right past it! Tftc
Found on our way back to Palmy after finding a few up along the manawatu scenic drive.
A perfect title for this cache. A plane came into land while we were at GZ.
Out with Itchyfeet2020 finding 50 caches today for the DGSc challenge in the West Coast. Kia ora rawa atu for the cache nz1.

NZ_B and I are spending the day around the Fielding area with a goal to get over 50 caches in a day for a challenge. Our journey led us here. Easy find with a good hint. Thank you.
Nice easy find. Good parking, cache is slightly wet but log is fine. Got to see a little plane land but no trains today, plenty of cars. Tftc and happy new year.
On my way into Feilding. Stopped off at the airport cache and then made the park and grab here.

#9880. After being in COVID19 lockdowns for several weeks the key to greater freedom came this week and a chance to get out of Wellington and geocache in a neighbouring region. Infoferret joined me on the trip up north. The main aim today was to pick up some Adventure Labs but also puzzle finals and any nearby caches. We were heading up to Feilding but stopped here on the way. Managed to park right next to this one. I was standing next to it looking at the GPS and wondering where it might be hidden when IF plucked it from right under my nose. Zero mojo today. Signed and replaced as found. Thanks nz1 for the cache.
Out on a caching expedition with TharntheHalken around the Manawatu. Quick find, all good. Tftc!
Great to be able to park right off the road while looking for this one.
Soon located, signed and returned

Slow cross country journey to Whanganui for work. Caching today in Ashhurst and on to Fielding. Parked up and found two muggle cars right at GZ. Still had two nearby caches to walk to and fortunately on returning they had moved on. Cache all fine. Thanks
What a day! Got a phone call at 05:30 to ask if I'd drive my NZPost RD run today. I normally begin work at 4 AM, but today it was a 6 AM start. And with so much Freight I didn't finish until well after 3 PM.
Despite being buggered I have come home to Feilding via Bunnythorpe after grabbing a targeted cache in Palmy. I would've got this one yesterday but by the time I'd signed the airfield cache log it was bucketing down with rain again after a day of it, so grabbed it on the way past. Straight forward find as per hint. All dry and fine here.
Not logged until now due to pressure from fellow geocacher's interpretation of the lock-down rules. Thanks for keeping your caches active and thanks for the cache.

Seemed to miss this one have it 10 minutes but of a dumping ground. GPS seemed to know where to look so we searched and searched surrounding posts. Maybe it's moved, missing or we aren't very good at this game. Thanks anyway!
Parked up and made the quick grab. Plenty of cars but no trains or planes. Thanks for the cache.
Collected this one whilst collecting some of the solved mystery caches nearby . Quick find, signed SJ. TFTC
A fantastic day to be out on the road caching, especially when you making your merry way to attend a great BBQ knowing you'll be catching up with plenty of good folk from the wider Manawatu-Wanganui community.
I was on my way to fulfill a promise to climb a tree in Feilding to search for an elusive cache, but left early enough to be able to grab a few others along the route as I'm still working my way around parts of the Manawatu that I have never been caching in before.
It was a quick find at GZ. All was fine with the container and log so once the appropriate caching administration was completed the whole lot was replaced as found and then it was back to the car to carry on towards Feilding.
Thanks for placing this cache.

Team BOP on tour in the Manawatu-Whanganui Region... With Gap (of Fap and Gap), (Mr) Davidson clan, McJandals, NZFlossy, Philip.Perry, and TNXPro.
This weekend had been in the pipeline for ages. It was always going to be a mission for various team members to get coordinated leave passes... We secured accommodation in the rural heart of the Manawatu. This placed us well within reach of a massive trail of caches... We travelled in one vehicle, so our journey was filled with lots of laughs, and good times... Fortunately, the majority of caches were in place and were fairly quick to locate - thanks to straightforward hints and great coordinates. Many of the caches had not been found in a while, so containers were waterlogged, and logbooks were wet... Thank goodness for waterproof paper. A huge thank you also, to the various COs who made our weekend worthwhile... TFTC.

Team BOP decided that with the MEGA rapidly approaching, we need to boost our numbers so we could try for a milestone number at the Mega. I am approaching my 3000th cache but was still about 325 caches away from that. Reaching the milestone may or may not happen, but this weekend certainly was about the numbers. I had an initial target I was trying to beat and that was my highest number of caches found in one day and we comfortably beat that, achieving 158 caches (subject to confirmation, once I log them all).
The best way to do the high numbers is with power trails and out here, there is a smorgasborg of powertrails.
We loaded up the van, gathered up all seven of us and headed to our accomodation somewhere in the middle of nowhere, getting there well after dark. The location was convenient, as it was right in the thick of a power trail territory.
There was no splitting us up, as we only had one vehicle, so we all experienced the cache locations, some beautiful and some not so.
As with powertails we have done in the past, there was a high proportion of waterlogged caches, but unlike powertails we have done previously, we managed to find every cache and were glad to be able to clear out an area. Also, with powertails, comes cut and paste logs, to which I apologise for.
Thanks to all those CO's who have placed the caches out there. Without you, our fun road trips wouldnt exist. We all had a thoroughly enjoyable weekend and got home completely shattered. It was so worth it.

On a road trip with Team BOP, having a blast and gathering a few smileys along the way. Please excuse generic logs in advance. Many Thanks to all you cache owners for the placements. Cheers

Road trip time again! This weekend Team BOP consists of Davidson Clan, TNXPro, Squirrelnutcase, FapAndGap, McJandals, NZFlossy & myself. We had a very narrow list of ‘must gets’ so this trip was essentially a numbers mission. As with these trips, most of the caches were found quickly and in good condition thanks to accurate coords and straight forward placements. We replaced some logs and containers but most had water proof paper and were all good. A huge thank you to the co’s as this was a beautiful area to visit and there was certainly an abundance of geocaches!!
Everything was fine here, TFTC.

On a road trip with Team BOP to Feilding. Set off Friday night and back home Sunday. Lots of caches and lots of laughs with great weather and great scenery. Thanks to all the COs for giving us a awesome trip
A quick find while taking the long way between Wanganui and Palmerston North. TFTC
Went to the wrong hint object initially, but got there eventually. Saw some planes and automobiles, no trains today. All safe & dry. TFTC
i was going to say the container lid is history, but it seem between me finding the cache and now logging it, it has been sorted, tftc
One of 28 caches located whilst ‘exploring’ the Palmerston North/Feilding region today. A reasonably straightforward find after using the official pedestrian railway crossing to get to it. #1705. TFTC.
Note: most of lid on container has disintegrated and needs replacing!

Finally brought a car that I had want for the last 3 years and had to fly up to Auckland to drive it back to Dunedin. So 2 birds with one stone a new car and caching all the way home. This is one of many on the trip home was a nice and easy one to find TFTC
Didn't find this one last time we were down here, but nicely away find today anyway! The lid is broken.
