Lovely walk with my Mum over the bridge. Found this one easy two call buttons! Great view!

23-Oct-24
Realised I passed this one on yesterday's run so decided to cross the Wonnie 2 days in a row and picked it up while pedestrian traffic was non-existent.

13-Oct-24
Geodad was in the area and had some time to clear out some yet to be found caches. This one was number three on the list. A nice morning walk to GZ and then some looking hmm.. expanded the search area a little to soon have CIH. TFTC.

I have been saving this one up for awhile as I knew it would be a bit of a side trip to get to it and I wanted to get here approaching sunset. Driving across the bridge today and realised I had 20 minutes to spare and this was a perfect opportunity, so I headed out out for the find. Sun had already set but there was beautiful light across the river to complete the signing duties. Thanks for maintaining this cache in such a spectacular spot. Luckily didnt look at the most recent logs before I found this one but would be nice to remove the photos of the actual cache container so that others can have the joy and challenge of the find.

Great cache. Lovely walk with great views. Thought it would take us longer but the clever AJWM18 spotted it. TFTC.

17-Jan-24
Well that was easier than expected! While walking here on this rainy day we read some logs and prepared ourselves for a challenge. The Gps kept glitching out but we were able to determine about where the cache was using the little bit of the viewing platform that is sticking out on the map as a way mark. Thought it might be in a hard to reach spot but before we checked we read the hint about a corporation. Couldnt find the corporation the CO was talking about but did find another one and the cache was quickly spotted in around 3 mins. Weve only seen one of this type before but these ones are always fun! Found with anniejane18. FP given. TFTC

18-Sep-23
Visiting from Perth, I looked for a geo to visit and this one stood out immediately. Not only looked interesting and as im scared of heights, a little scary
It was the perfect sunny morning and I felt very confident as had noted the C O had just done a maintenance check. The views were stunning but getting to the edge of the viewing platform made the legs turn to jelly. My daughter was with me and after looking high and low and taking the hint into consideration, we sadly did not locate it. But as Ill be back in November, I wasnt too worried. Big thanks to the c o for bringing us up here and also for providing the Bridge history and time lapse story. We loved it!
I'll be back

We have visited this bridge previously in search of this Hide.
The area brings back a lot of memories from childhood times where we would drive across an old wooden bridge here.
How things have changed!
Although we seem to be so high on this bridge, there are still areas of housing way higher. The views down the river are also spectacular from GZ.
Last time we came by this bridge, we spent a little time looking for the Hide, but on a time frame, had moved on and continued our journey, cache unfound.
Today, with Smythos, we did a 7 km on-foot return journey from their home in Woronora Heights to GZ to find just this one cache! Aah! The things one does for a cache!
Despite a good search again, we were out of luck, and so, determined not to give up as the light was fading, we messaged the CO, who, fortunately for us , responded immediately. (Muchas Gracias)!
The search began again, and now, in a more focused position we had the treasure in our hands! Yippee!
It was twilight, and we had the return journey up the fire trail to the top roads in the dark, but the happy satisfaction of knowing our names are finally in the log.
Thank you The Hancock Clan. Awesome location and great hide.
A FP thrown off the bridge heading your way…

04-Jun-23
This one was very very tricky!
We did need a little assistance from the cache owner but after 40 minutes we finally found the cache!!

Well worth the time finding it with an incredible view!

Co-ordinates are a little off on this one!

03-Jun-23
Great hiding spot really hard to find too!

19-Apr-23
It blends in so well I was so confused and amazed with how it looks it blends in to the paint and metal perfectly

16-Apr-23
What a view and what an amazing piece of camo. Love this one. Had to message the very friendly, responsive and patient CO to check what we were looking for. We were thrown off the scent by the coordinates a little, but TRAAMO found it just as I got the message back from the CO.
TFTC - a great search and find.

16-Apr-23
Found with Raammo and kids. Fun one for them!

10-Apr-23
Omg searching for an hour till we gave up and started walking back when we spotted it.

02-Apr-23
If you don't live locally this one is worth travelling for. Definitely a clever one. Enjoy the view. Definitely think out side the box. First try 45 minutes didn't find it. Second try took us 20 minutes. TFTC #4

23-Jan-23
Looked for a good 20 minutes with two kids helping but we couldn’t see it. Maybe didn’t help that GPS was telling us we were 60m downriver. I like cryptic hints but this one went right over our heads. TFTC anyway. It seems like people who find it think it’s great.

16-Oct-22

We have always wanted to walk along this bridge and finally got a round tuit. Had to use the hint as we lost GPS reception. TFTC The Handcock Clan and for giving us the incentive to visit this location.

21-Jun-22
Was looking for about 45 minutes last night but couldn’t find, had to message the owner of this geocache for an extra hint and came back today, finding it within a few minutes! Sadly the logbook was full so had to squeeze my name on the side

22-May-22
Great hide. Seem one like this before.

22-May-22
Great cache!

28-Apr-22
Great find. Pretty sick Cache!

27-Apr-22
Our second attempt to find it, this time without the geokids (who didn’t like the heights)!

Excellent hide! One of my favourites!

07-Jan-22
I am not usually concerned about heights, but this had me creeped out. Not a fan of JR, I did know enough to use the hint at GZ, which the GPS had me chasing around several places until I just used my eyes for the find. With a full log I chose to use a photo as evidence, for the first time ever. If required, I will return when the log is replaced. Thanks for a great hide in an amazing location, which I really do not want to visit again.

I joined Jackscruff and Phlphotos for a hunt for this cache after attending the CO's event down below. I've never been here before so this was an enjoyable experience on an interesting walkway. Thanks for the geo-fun M and T.

27-Dec-21
I've only been to this part of Sydney once before and that was for an event two years ago. On that day I couldn't work out how to get to this cache. Today at the event I mentioned that I was keen to try this one, but how to get there. Some previous finders provided the intel and I was persuasive enough to encourage two others to come with me, one a previous finder just coming for the walk and the chat and Calypso62 who was up for the challenge.

Not really keen on all those steps, my knees don't like them (result of a previous car accident) but on reaching the walkway it was definitely worth it. What great views of the Woronora River! I was also surprised at how quiet it was on the walkway, below the road level. Great idea to create a safe walkway like this.

Took a few photos then it was onto serious cache hunting. The hint, well the connection did occur to me but I thought 'that is way too old' but then this is an old cache so its good. Well that blends in well, just looks part of the structure.

Walked past that so many times and continued to not notice it. I have seen containers like that before but still took me a long time to notice it. Great hide. TFTC

27-Nov-21
Found with the assistance of the geowife SamanthaRogers and maxi125

02-Nov-21
That was an absolutely tricky little bugger! Took a good 465 minutes to find but it was so worth it! Got to be one of my proudest finds, thank you so much for a stunning cache!

I Facetimed my parents afterward to show them how tricky it was (they’re not Cachers themselves but they love hearing my GZ stories ^_^ ) and they were able to tell me that the hint was a reference to something well before my time

Thanks for a great hide! TFTC!

02-Nov-21
45 minutes sorry, I was definitely not out here for 7.75 hours

could not find the geocache, not sure if it was snapped off or we just couldn’t find it. we tried to add up all the clues we could but still absolutely no clue. hopefully it hasn’t be snapped or stolen.

25-Aug-21
What an amazing adventure! Our team of 3 struggled to find this cache, until we re-read the hints and did some thinking. You may not find this cache where you expect, but it is not far away.
