I’ve been here a couple of times in the past to watch racing but the most memorable is watching the Britten motorbike race in the late 90’s. Quick find here today but container is so brittle it’s falling apart and needs some love TFTC
We found this one at a busy time of the day...right on rush hour but we strategically placed ourselves so we were hidden. A quick find by me as I was small enough to recover it. TFTC
What a busy road this is now! Access to cache achieved with some creaking and puffing. Good to get this one . TFTC
I'm bruised and battered or more specifically scratched after retrieving this one.
This was definitely a test in stealth but fortunately was also a quick find so we didn’t draw undue attention to ourselves. Another great hide. Thanks thejaybees.
Headed South with Merlot and Pazza today for a caching trip on the shortest day of the year. No problems locating this one under the cover of the tree.
Pazza2, Jag50 and I headed South Auckland way to find a few caches. I broke my pen while getting out of the car but like all good cachers we come prepared with spares. With a bit of crawling we soon had the cache in hand
Decided to take a break from my studies and spend the day out caching. I offered to also take out my 2 nephews and niece along with me. We decided to head out to Pukekohe after picking up my nephew in Opaheke.
All quiet around GZ today. Sent the little ones in to retrieve the cache.

Found it on our way to the Rebel Roundup at the raceway. No need to worry about muggles as they are all too focused on getting a park.
Found bag and log needs replacement or cleaning its pink left my calling card and swag - the cache had rolled away from the host, I would have looked a right sight crawling under the branches trying to reach this cache
Young geocacher found this as she was the smallest and most agile. Log is full and wet but there is a piece of paper which we signed. A swap has leaked ink inside the bottle which has left its mark on all of us lol. Tftc
Geocaching day in Pukekohe. This part of the town visited on my bike. The hardest thing for me was to cross the road. Busy traffic in the area. .... All good at GZ. TFTC
On a 24hr mission to Auckland with Philip.Perry and three of my kids started caching at about 3pm getting back to accommodation at 330am then up and back on the road for a xouple of hours before heading home. We decided we had three caches we had to find this mission then the rest was all about getting our numbers up so concentrated on a high cache area. Meet Sethraven just on dusk who helped us on a cache we couldnt find before she headed home so that was great. Really enjoy caching in Auckland at night no traffic and no muggles to get in our way. We only had a few DNF caches for the day which isnt to bad. Thanks to all th CO for the caches.
Had a cheeky Auckland Mission on the cards this weekend and this was day two. It was a late one last night so today we figured we'd take it easy and try to clear Pukekohe out today before heading home. This was the first stop - the cache was found quickly and in good condition thanks to accurate coords and a straight forward placement. Cheers thejaybees, TFTC

It's a wonder we could find anything with the amount of fog, but found it we did. Tftc
While we were off doing another cache we could hear cars racing around the track. So decided to go have a look. Sure enough there was racing going on today. What a bonus having a cache here too. Went in and watched some of the races. It was awesome. I was in Bogan heaven. Lol!! Certainly was the highlight of the day. Race this track on my ps2. Found the cache no problems. Tftc
It is almost 25 years to the day since last I was in New Zealand and for a wedding of some friends, well as it is coming up to their Silver anniversary we decided to come over and whilst here and Geocaching wasn't around last time, we can now tick off the Country and find one or two caches along the way.
No racing today so it was am easy dive grab sign return.
Thanks to thejaybees for setting and maintaining this cache and to all other owners for setting and maintaining theirs.
My find number 6350 to date Happy caching everyone

Thank you thank you for putting a cache near the track - awesome boredom buster for Miss 6 and me! No sign of travel bug and the travel log is done for, but TFTC anyway!
Dear Cache Owners,
I am a German guy who stays in New Zealand for eight months.
My English is not perfect, so please don't wonder or be angry if my log entries sound a bit strange. Thanks!
----------
Today I made a Little trip by myself in my new Homezone area. Unfortunately I forgot the most important Thing, a pencil [xx(] . Thats why I add a Picture from the logbook to every log entry.
Ducked and found! The hint made it easy!
Thanks for hiding this Cache!

Park on the grass verge and walk along to the left of Gate 2 no need to go on the drive
Not sure about on hands and knees hubby was on his stomach to get to this one. Log book may need replacing as almost full.
Had a couple of hours available in Puke so took the opportunity to get some caches. Thanks for the clear hint. I got the grandson to do the 'hands & knees' work. TFTC.
Half way along fence. Watch out for bush by gate - looks like someone living rough there.
Parked right next to it ...looked a bit suspicious to muggles tho but quickly grabbed and signed.
Parked right next to GZ so Mrs beconaze looked for the cache while Mr beconaze addressed a minor issue with the geo-wagon. After a couple of seconds Mrs beconaze come flying out complaining bitterly that she had been nailed by a wasp. I said "but did you get the cache"? Unfortunately that was not the case. So after a few minutes of nursing her now sore ankle in she went again. That is a true sign Mrs beconaze is a dedicated geocacher. This time no more wasps and a signed log.
Out and about tonight, heading to Pukekohe to clean out a few caches with Iammrwalker, Kyb3r and HKCB. We only had a few hours to spare and so we left Hamilton at 7.30 and finished up just after midnight before it was time for home for a few hours sleep so we could all be bright eyed and bushy tailed for work the next day. (silly idea!) Perhaps next time we just keep going and don't sleep!
A quick stop here on the way home for those in the car that had not grabbed this one. Since it was late there were no muggles and we could get in and get out with noone spotting us

I decided to organise a mini night mission to Pukekohe before things got busier at work and found some other keen Geocachers in HKCB, 11hpg11 and Kyb3r to join me after putting the feelers out for any interested parties at a local event. We left about 7:30 once I got the kids into bed and left for home just after midnight. We had hoped to find more than we managed so we will have to come again and grab those we missed. A big thank you to all those CO’s for hiding and maintaining the caches we found.
We grabbed this one on our way home after a fun evening.

Definitely no muggles around at the time we found this one! TFTC

Down in Pukekohe area to pick up some parts and thought would attempt a few caches on the way back to office.
Parked right at GZ and took the hardest route to the cache but found easy after that.
Signed log in the car and tool the far easier route to return case.

It's quite obvious, make sure to hide it properly when placing it back. Also the co-ords are way off
We were in Pukekohe for dinner celebrating the end of term and some successes by our mini cachers and as we came out feeling quite stuffed, we decided to have a bit of walking and find a few more of our unfound caches in the area. A nice quick find here by the light of the torch from our phones. The road nearby was still quite busy even after dark tonight. Log book was very full, we had to find a space on one of the folds. Sorry we did not have a replacement log with us. Found with darthcacher1 and purply.
Quick grab after lunch. Last day of our 4 day road trip from Hawkes Bay to Auckland and back to collect as many caches as we can. Log signed as b&p.Tftc
Left a travel bug that likes to hang out near race tracks in this geocache near the Pukekohe Race Park. TFTC
I was back in the area tonight for a meeting which finished earlier than expected and the rain was staying away, so thought this one would be a little easier without all the activity of daylight hours.... arrived at GZ and was very pleased with the decision to look for this one now as I had the area to myself, just the odd car passing by.
Had a little bit of a head scratch moment, but then decided to go for the obvious option and came up trumps with the find.
Cache is all good.
TFTC.

Too lazy to go crawling around when I wasn't sure of the spot. Will bring junior offspring to do my dirty work next time.
We allowed ourselves a mini caching expedition as part of our New Year's eve shopping trip to Pukekohe. This was one of the few that we found as we said farewell to the 2015 caching year.
How low can you go. The limbo dancer's dream cache perhaps!
Cache find was straightforward. True to the coordinates and hint.
All in order; log signed, cache safely re-hidden, just as found.
TFTC found with team cacher Sweet P too
The Turtle strikes again!

It's all about panache. Walk over, quickly take cover, the most natural thing in the world, ha!

No worries here today, just had to get the timing right in between cars... Needs new paper. Log full.
The good parking tip meant we were able to grab this without drawing attention to ourselves. I left a horse, representing a quick game and a slow one as it is a chess piece.
