Trying to find a few caches white down in Cathie for the day, kids definitely enjoyed checking out all the swaps in this decent sized container.
Log was signed, but was a bit damp.

Not many muggles around here today and a few good hides.
Thanks for the cache Browngang,

We have travelled up from Sydney’s Northern Beaches to Port Macquarie for our annual summer holiday, camping in our Jayco Swan Outback camper trailer at the Breakwall (Sundowner) Holiday Park. Today we went for a drive down to Lake Cathie and returned via Lighthouse Beach, collecting caches in the areas we passed through along the way. This was our 9th find of the day, and 80th find of the holiday.
Drove the geomobile down the narrow bush track all the way to (almost) GZ. Dashed into the scrub and to GZ, where the generously sized cache container was quickly located. Signed the log book, swapped some trinkets, then replaced as found.
It's a nice quiet location beside the creek, and another vehicle turned up just as we were leaving, so we timed it well. TFTC Browngang.

TFTC. A beautiful walk down the track to find this cache. Great spending time with oldest geoson on this one!
Quick find at GZ after a nice walk along the track. Nice to see a larger sized cache after finding many micros. Cache and log in good shape TFTC.
Another glorious sunny day for some Caching. What a lovely spot and soon had Cache in hand. Many thanks for bringing us here. TNLN SL TFTC
Quick drive down the track to a peaceful spot. Quick bush bash and found the cache. TFTC
Today we are travelling south from Port Macquarie to pick up a few caches we missed on the coast on a recent loop through Laurieton because we ran out of daylight.
We tried to approach this one from the most direct route but soon realised we needed to take the track down to the inlet. Once we arrived there was a muggle car there, but no one to be seen so after a quick search we had the cache in hand.
We really appreciate how caching brings us to locations that we would never have discovered by ourselves.
Thank you.

Another beautiful view of this lake. The cache was a bit exposed on finding, so after doing the legals and replaced as found. I added some more camo. TFTCM

Tftc. We walked this track today, enjoying the sunshine and nature. After seeing nobody the whole length of the track, with about 100 metres to go I say to Geowife "Wouldn't it be our luck if there was someone camping at the end?" Me and my big mouth. Sure enough, a campervan with some muggles having lunch. Not to be perturbed, I quickly searched and soon had cache in hand. Took some poker chips, left a keyring and a toy frog, signed log and back to car. On arrival at car, just sat down and saw a leech on my pants looking for some bare skin. Hopefully the only one.
I am working on completing my Jasmer and needed a cache to fill a missing month from the Port macquarie area. Mr Minion suggested we make a weekend of it, so I thought I would look at completing a challenge as well. To find 25 unique difficulty/terrain combinations in a day. We set of from home at around 4am and finished around 6pm. This was find number 18 of the day and Mr minion was happy we could drive close to GZ as i thought we would have to walk. A nice big cache and a quick find with accurate co ords. thanks for the cache Browngang tnln sl

Found it. As others have mentioned cache is a bit damp. Fun walk. Look out for sharp plants one of us got a cut.
Found it thanks, what an amazing spot! Leaving a dog toy & taking a cute pink key!
TFTC. picture perfect spot this arvo with the sun on the water while looking west. great cache full of goodies Thankyou!
Lani & Moo's 2nd cache! Good little find. GPS might be slightly out, but an easy find nonetheless. Thanks guys!!
Unfortunately 3 carloads of P platers made approaching GZ impossible, next time.........
A quick find on a good sized cache, still lots of little swaps inside. Took an empty Coke can, sorry but I didn't have a replacement swap . Beautiful spot slightly tarnished by a fair bit of rubbish around, grabbed a bit but wished I'd brought a bag along.
Wish I'd also read the logs about ticks.
Still earns a favourite even if I am itching all over. Thanks Browngang, lovely spot

Great little find... Found the cache hiding spot was infested with ticks, so becareful
What better to do on Australia Day than find a cache! Azmate22 made the quick discovery after traipsing through some thick mud-only to discover we could've stayed quite clean and tidy! The cache hidey hole is absolutely crawling with bush ticks so check yourself after grabbing and replacing the cache. On our way out we also came across some bogged travellers-stick to the main track as one of the tracks is NOT good for cars!!!!
16:55 Another overdue find and so glad we drove down the track rather than walk in the gathering heat and storm. Fortunately a quick find as there were a few muggles in the vicinity maybe for nefarious purposes in one case. TFTC Browngang
Went fishing with my family and went searching for the geocache with my brother. Found it fairly quickly.

There was another family parked at the end here. It looked like they had taken up residence. I am sure that they did not like us in there area. We walked down to the water and then Rick took his shoes off and was in a walking. It wasn't in the water. Then I had to bring him his shoes.
Holidaying in the area and time for some geocaching. I seem to take the long way around. Any way it was a nice walk and didn't encounter any leeches!. Signed the log. TFTC Browngang.
TFTC. Another beauty browngang. Was sceptical to bring my car down here after all the rain we had. But what a great road.
Found on our way home from a caching day in Port... Didn't even know this place existed, thanks Browngang for again showing me a little treasure in my local area.... TFTC
It was nice to discover this track and spot on the lake . The clue made it a fun find
Easy find on a beautiful day. Lots of people on the lake. Took travel bug G2MY8D "rainbow bug" to continue its journey. Thanks for bringing us here.
Nice walk in, could of driven...
Could of even gone for a paddle here, but honestly too sick to do it, all I want is my bed
Visiting QLD from Central Coast NSW, and attending the Stanthorpe MEGA EVENT for about a week. Camping at the showground, caching days done mainly with SpikeyMikey, meeting up with members of CCG, HAVOC, and others from all over Australia.
Many thanks to all responsible for a smooth operating event, my first Mega, and first visit to Stanthorpe. Plenty of reasons for a near future visit
Whilest it did rain and drizzle almost every day, I much preferred this over hot days, which is what I encounted on the Gold Coast return journey, as well as a repeated bout of coughing with the flu on the long drive home.
Great Puzzles, Power Trails, landscapes, History, Apples!, and company. Politeness and respect by all
Many Personal records smashed this weekend First MEGA, Finds per day, Altitude, etc

Didn't get any leeches but I could have. Thanks Browngang. Left a Travel Bug G2MY8D and took a poker chip
Came up for the Mid North Coast invasion events the weekend.
Quick find here. No torch needed for this one, possibly thanks to over entusiastic searchers. TNLNSL. Thanks Browngang

Hi there Browngang. We found your cache "Cathie Village Track" at 3:56:00 PM today,. This cache makes our find count 9918.
[Blue]
We are trying to log at least one cache every day, so we can add to our streak of "Most Consecutive Days Cached", which we started on New Years Day 2014. Our route today took us to and past some really wonderful & scenic locations.
We thoroughly enjoyed our trek today. After climbing Jolly Nose this track was a piece of cake.
[/Blue]
Coordinate Accuracy: We found the cache around 2m from where the GPS said we should be looking.
Cache Condition: Container and log book are in good shape.
Took: Nothing.
Left: Novelty Badge.
Grabbed Trackable: "Happy Wanderer."
Thanks for the hunt today,
Regards
Ian & Penny.

Found at 1048 On a Geocaching trip in the Port Macquarie area. A nice bush area. TFTC.
This is what we love about geocaching. Been living in the area for ten years and would never have found this spot. Saw yellow tail black cockatoos, king parrots and endless wild flowers. Great spot for Happy Wander to start her independent travels.
Found on way to Port for half ironman where geohubby is not an official not competitor. No. Leeches
Holidaying in Lake Cathie with family and thought we would do some geocaching in the area. It was dark when we arrived at this cache so it took some time to find rummaging in the bush but Keeley_the_fabulous found the prize - her first cache find ever!
Enjoyed a pleasant walk down to the water, made a quick find of the cache, even though we took a torch with us it wasn't needed as the cache was found easily using just "natural light".
