I cannot see any information that suggests to me that steps have been taken to resolve the issue/s associated with this placement - one or more of the following applies:
- Cache Owner unable to maintain cache
- No response from the cache owner.
- No cache to find or log to sign.
- It has been more than 28 days since the last owner note.
- Cache has been abandoned by cache owner
As a result I am archiving this cache to keep from continually showing up in search lists and to also prevent it from blocking other cache placements.
If you wish to repair/replace/make available the cache sometime in the next 28 days, just contact a reviewer (by email and include GC number in cache name) and, assuming it still meets the current guidelines, the reviewer will be happy to unarchive it.
If there are components or remnants of the cache and you haven't already done so, please return to the GZ and collect the cache (or remnants). We don't want to litter our environment with Geotrash.
Should you wish to replace the cache after 28 days has passed please create a new cache listing so it can be reviewed as a new cache.

MAINTENAINCE REQUIRED?
[blue]I notice from one or more recent log entries that this cache appears to be in need of owner intervention. Therefore, I am temporarily disabling it so as to stop it showing up on search lists and to give the owner an opportunity to check on the cache, and take whatever action is necessary.
Prompt attention by cache owners to any log that indicates anything could be amiss is greatly appreciated by all seekers. The guideline advises; "if you can't fix it straight away then "Disable" it till you can."
Please respond to this situation by 30th November to prevent the cache from being archived for non-responsiveness. If you require more time, please be sure to post a "Write Note" log (not an email) explaining the situation and how much more time you require.
And don't forget, once you have addressed the issue, post both an "Owner Maintenance" log see here; http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=404 and an "Enable Listing" log see here; https://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235 to get your cache up and running again.[/blue]

Caching today with McLookers and Beckster 22. After making our way across to the island we were unable to locate the cache. We had 7 pairs of eyes looking for this one to no avail. We are fairly sure it is missing as indicated by other DNFs.
I read previous comment, which was DNF. No water in lake, we walked to island, the tree at GZ has blown over, and the cache may have been muggled. Can you please check on this and replace or archive.
Did Not Find. No water in lake, walked across with Geokids, Apple Pie and Toothless. Tree has fallen over at GZ, which may have upset hiding spot. May have been muggled.
Geohubby and I are staying in the Grampians for a few weeks from SA. The morning dawned quite foggy in Halls Gap so we decided that a day catching some caches around Ararat was the go We had found several local caches on a previous visit to Ararat so we tried to grab the ones that have since been published or those we didn't have time to get last visit.
We couldn't resist the opportunity to 'walk' to an island so we made a quick find. We have replaced the broken cache container with a new sistema of the same size. It should be all good for a few more years yet.
Many thanks for the hide Bmak [^]

No need for boats to get this one, the island is well high and dry. Container could do with replacing though as it's broken.
Have accepted on offer for quality time, after GCBED3 am looking for something easy.
A need to swim, wade or use a boat when most lakes are dry or nearly dry needs checking. Is this an island with dry access?
Got to GZ with runners, the cache has been totally degraded by the weather, very brittle and much case missing. It needs to be replaced.
Owner can access the GZ with 4x2 family sedan to replace the container.

Well that was the easiest T4 cache that I have ever done thanks to the low waters. Alas the cache is getting in a bad way. Looks like the UV has gotten to it and made the container brittle and cracked. A great location. Thanks Bmak for this hide.
Scared of snakes. Walked across the dry lake. Heading to Grampians now after sleeping in the campgrounds. Replaced pen because wasn't working
I was 'walking on water' to get this one. Couldn't believe my luck. Tag along drove the car around to pick me up.
Really liked the area and after talking over oureveningmeal we are going to bring our walking club back to visit

After a nice walk across the dry lake bed we found it under one of these funky trees thanks
The family and I stopped off on the way back home to have a look for this one. Water was way down so could walk straight to it. Took nothing but left a bouncy ball for the next young geocachers. TFTC
Hello next finder. I think my tb "Hunk of Burning Love" could be in here. It was discovered recently. I thought it was lost. Could you please confirm its there?
TGNS! Island 2 proved to be easier than 1. Boat not required on this trip. TSLSSL. TFTC!
We found this one the day we got our new kayak. Just as we found it some rain came in so we huddled unde a tree before the paddle back. Thanks Bmak.
On our way home from a big weekend at the Ballarat junior Table Tennis comp, & thought we'd cache a little along the way Handy we had the kyak on board

I was a little dubious after not finding "Island 1" AND not having a boat! The lake was living up to its name being very very green! Lots of algea slime and weeds, but after a few DNFs I was getting desparate! I stripped down and plunged into the murky swill. I protected my GPSr in a sealed Tupperware boat which worked brilliantly.
Once on the island it was an easy find, but now I have to swim back...
Thanks Bmak for the adventure, but swimming is not recommended!

We had done the other Island cache a few days earlier and Bruce was really keen to do this one as well. It was a very cold day so swimming did not seem an attractive option and no boats in sight. Today however with the warmer weather some people camping nearby had their boat there so off Bruce went with another camper to get this cache. They had lots of fun and managed to find the treasure. Thanks Bmak
easy find. great excuse to take the boat for a run, the girls had a ball.tftc
