Hi there,
Just arrived at GZ and all we found was some Velcro at the back of the sign. So if that was it's hiding spot it's gone.

An easy find once the gps (vs navigator) was brought into action. We had just come across the river on the ferry and stopped for the cache. T: photos, LN,SL. Thanks to Bronsen for the cache.

Today is day twenty four of my epic journey from home in Melbourne to Alice Springs in NT via the Flinders Ranges is SA and back. It is not purely a caching holiday, but I still hope to pick up quite a few caches on the way.

A lovely view. I remember when our children were young we went across and back on the ferry as foot passengers - they loved it.
Found in company of BantamCT after the Wandering Heroes series. Thanks for the cache Bronsen!
Found on the way home with CPwanderer and DeeNifty after tackling the Carcuma Hell cache. TFTC Bronsen
Easy find great views what more could you want to complete a days caching Many thanks Bronsen
The spot was deserted today, so made a quick find right where the name suggested. Nice view of the river from here.
Thanks Bronsen!
Thanks Bronsen!
Very nice hide. I disturbed the local teenagers when I shone the torch down from the lookout to the picnic area below! log signed we made our escape.
A quick find by Mr Beetle. Was planning on lunching here but noticed a grassy spot below so headed down there instead. Great to watch the barge - and it's free!! Tempted to go over and back but didn't know if that would go down very well. Thanks.
Always mean to stop here and look at view. Finally did and was rewarded with a find. TFTC

This is the 977th find for WazzaAndWenches
Day seven and the day we are heading home to Echuca from our holiday in Victor Harbor. We had planned on going via the coast road and Naracoorte to Horsham today then on to home tomorrow but decided on the spur of the moment to just drive straight through. It's only around 8hrs (plus cache stops).
After a trip across on the ferry (a first for most of us) we ventured into town for a quick find.
Yep, I also found the suspected evidence of a cache hide but didn't give up too easily and had the cache in hand very soon after.
Thanks Bronsen.

Parking the gCAV to obscure the vision of any passing muggles, geoD soon had this one to hand.

A quick stop to admire the bends of Tailem. Damn cold spot. The wind through those willows sure had an edge to it. Clear skies and TFTC Bronsen.
Found with AdrianMc on the way home from the Border Track event. A nice spot with a nice outlook. And it gave us some ideas for a particularly cruel cache of our own . TFTC.
Nice spot.
I've never been on this particlur punt and today was no exception as we needed to get home now.

We thought this one had gone missing as we found a possible attachment point for a cache container but it wasnt there. Upon further examination of other possible location, we found the cache. SL enjoyed the view. TFTC
we were lucky to find he area deserted... nice spot Bronsen - almost as if this was built to house a cache!!!
Parked the car where we got fuel for the body and the X-Trail on the way home. I walked the 500m or so to GZ and waited for an old couple having a stop to move on the quickly removed the cache, signed and replaced.
Cache hide was FULL of ants! Walked back to the car just as the geofamily finished lunch and we loaded up and got back on the road.

A quick find on a wet and cold day after doing some caches on the Wandering Heroes series. TFTC.
I don’t care what the official line is, I like ‘em . The river looks great now with all the water in it. A nice hide, but a quick, easy find in the end. Cheers.
Found while on way home from a 4wd weekend around Ngarkat CP with Freddo & Team Waldron. TFTC Bronsen
Very clever hide. We watched the punt head over to the other side before we headed on our way.
Took Bregor to find this cunning one while on a day cacheing trip. & I had my hand on it! TFTC & challenge Bronsen

Was a bit confused for a sec but caught on pretty quickly. Found it cause something was left open slightly. SL then fixed the problem. Good to learn some history about the River.
A really great hide, found this one on the way back to Adelaide, after looking at a very full river. SL. TFTC.

Found on the way out from Adelaide. Down by the ferry ramp is a great parking spot to eat lunch, have a cuppa and watch the river for a while. Can't remember seeing the river so high before.. TFTC
This was placed just after my last trip through here so had to wait till my next trip through here. Went straight to it and was in the first place I looked. TFTC
Found in the company of Mtbikeroz on our way home from out Tazmania trip
Great place to stop and make me wake up. The long drive makes me fall asleep.
Grrr to the muggles that decided to read the sign right as I needed to replace it.
Finally they left and I dashed out to replace it.

Found with MtnLioness on our drive from Melb to Adel.
Only one spot it could be, so parked right there, then MtnLioness retrieved it we signed it, then just as MtnLioness went to replace it muggles pulled up right behind us and went to read the sign. Arrrgh. We waited until they finished, then replaced it and we were off, TFTC. (PS - nice to see the river so FULL).

Easy find after going down to the park. Stay high fellow cachers! Tftc Bronsen. Must get to Thompsons soon.
Went to look at the obvious location and almost left empty-handed as a piece of empty velcro attached to it suggested to us that it had been muggled. Geo-Mum decided to look where she would hide it anyway and there it was nestled in its bed. Great view and good hidey hole. TYFTC.
My son Nicholas and I were driving to Melbourne.
Found it nicely..

As I pulled up there was a father and daughter and van parked right on GZ. After 15 minutes they departed and I leapt in for the find.
As I was leaving a fellow cacher arrived on the scene. Always nice to catch up in the field
Thanks for the cache and good hide

I always stop at the lookout here on my journeys to Adelaide.
It makes such a pleasant change to look out over the river after crossing the flatlands to the east
I had a quick look around for the cache and found something that I presume is a decoy [:o]
I kept looking and soon had me a cache though
TFTC and ferry tale views [:o)]

I was the only one at this viewpoint today making retrieval a simple matter.

Speedmistress triumphs. Taking a caching day driving from Bordertown to Adelaide. I have always loved Willow Trees - did not know they are so destructive to our environment. TFTC TNLN
For taxation reasons, we had to get a few more kms on the family car so we thought this cache was far enough. The total distance for four caches, including this one was 350 kms. We rolled up and we were faced with driving rain but brave geowife jumped out of the car and grabbed the cache. Thanks to some great directions it was an easy find. Thanks for placing the cache and helping us have lots of fun! TNLN. SL
Found on the way to Adelaide for a caching trip with Team Crackers, Nice views of the river
