Definitely an out of the way spot! A very cool biting morning for a walk. Winter finally here. On a multi mission with weirdobiker after the Lameroo Ludicrous Leg Warmers events in SA and now heading back east via a through different LGA's. Its been great exploring the country out west with plenty of highlights to remember. TFTC and the lure.
Almost stepped on a little stumpy lizard getting to this one, we eyed each other and waited for our respective heartbeats to slow down, then I stepped around him as he hid under the brush and went our separate ways TFTC
Out today in the PeuGEOt to do a couple of circuits of Geocaches in St Arnaud and district. Quaint old stone building that time has forgotten.Quick find.TFTC
Another awesome hide. Thanks again tigersden. We were a bit stuck but the coords are spot on. TFTC
Seeing schools from the past is always interesting for the architecture and for realising the importance of the school to the local community. Accurate coordinates led to a quick find. The logbook was totally filled. We left the full log in the plastic bag and added another logbook. Thanks tigersden for the cache.
Another run north of home and this was a quick find while in the area. Enjoyed the drive and looking around the area. Log signed and all was good.
Thanks tigersden...
Thanks tigersden...
It's such a shame that so many old buildings just rot away. Hopefully this one will be saved! Log is full but I managed to squeeze my name along the side. Many thanks
Second day out in the area, a bit of caching a bit of detecting. The rain seems to have stayed away and it’s not too cold. TFTC and letting us see spots in the area that are of interest
Out for a few days with MazzyMay and we thought we would see what we could find. Having a look around we found this one. TFTC
We arrived in Eddington today after spending a few days in St Arnaud arriving there on Sunday where we decided to stay for a couple of days before continuing our journey to Bendigo. Here we caught up with our good friends Tyred n Cranky and Fuf009, while we were here we also met up with ChooknChunk.
Here at Eddington we were impressed with the town, the area and the camp spot behind the hall, fantastic just fantastic. The multi here was very informative. From here we have journeyed to Dunolly, We had a wonderful lunch at the bakery and a great tour around town using geocaching as our tour guide.
We loved the history and the building here.

Found at 10:10 AM GAFF1.
A nice little skull to mark the cache location Wonder if the building is now residential?
Thanks to tigersden
Feedback: The log book/sheet is totally full.

Another nice quick park and grab, part of a very enjoyable drive around town for me.
Back log, out for a day of driving to get Geokid1 learner hours up, what better way than to cache around a nearby town. We enjoyed exploring here as we have lived by our whole lives but only ever drove by, it's nice to look further into the town

Heading off to Halls Gap for a couple of days with Bogonghazy. Quick detour. Easy find. Thanks for placing the Geocache
What a lovely little building, thanks so much for bringing me here, live stone buildings and little out of the way places
The team headed off to Màldon for another week camping with our daughter during the school holidays in the caravan. Our mission was to find more caches than Uncle Brendan. Not too busy at the campsite this week-campfires, exploring, Dunolly bakery visits, playing family boardgames every night, practicing driving were highlights of the week. Thanks so much to the CO's maintaining these for us to explore.
Found @ 12:36pm #1079.

TFTC tigersden Spending our Easter in the area and took the opportunity to put some smiley faces on. Great that you continue to maintain these for us to find and exploring the area and its history. TNLN . Another hidden historic find. The skull points in the correct direction lol. All good at GZ
Another beautiful but apparently deserted stone school. Sad that so many small schools have been closed and as shame there isn’t more community use of such buildings TFTC tigersden
Found with Kellmik while in Bendigo for our Central Victorian Mythmas Caching holiday.
Lovely old school. Would look really nice restored.

The old school would be a lovely place to renovate. A bit squeezy scratchy for me too.
Thanks tigersden for another history bite. Cache and log are in good condition. TFTC!
In Dunolly for the St Arnaud MEGA with my dearest friend Kato Potato and we decided that rather than head back to the MEGA, we'd take the circuitous route home to Gippsland by cleaning out Dunolly and picking and choosing on our way home. I spent most of the drive to this cache saying "Bwomley" in the most British twang I could manage and this was my downfall - I was too distracted and Kato found the cache. Focus! TFTC tigersden
In the area for the St Arnaud Mega event and once again privileged to be able to spend the whole weekend with Mummy Short Legs on a mum's weekend away, our scared annual Caching Adventure without the families in tow.
After spending a lovely two nights in the area we decided we needed to make sure that we honoured the local caches by finding as many as we could before setting off home today. Number 10 find for the day. Headed in the wrong direction for a bit but very quickly spotted the obvious. TFTC tigersden

On a ride through the state forest from Tarnagulla to Dunolly and back and enjoying some of the historical scenery with geocaching as my tour guide. Amazing to think how much these areas have changed from their gold rush hey days, good to know there is still a way of remembering some of the old structures. A bit of a stretch to collect this one before I was able to add my name to the log. Thanks for the cache Tigersden.
Maryborough Day 2 staying at the Trotting Club
Drove up to Dunolly today to tour the area following the geocaching trail
We were very impressed with the many abandoned mines & historic sites.

Came to Dunolly to catch up with family friends and stay for the long weekend. We did a number of cache’s and Thanks Tigersden for getting us to explore areas we might not have gone to. The school looked like it is on private property so didn’t explore around it but would have loved to. Again TFTC.
Having a couple of days caching in and around Bendigo as well as a couple of country drives. We certainly saw loads of lovely country side and interesting places. Sorry about the generic logs but appreciate the time and effort that all COs have given to place these caches in your areas. Happy caching to all.
Visiting Bendigo and today was out and about in the countryside. Due to the number of caches found on the day I am doing a generic log. I acknowledge all the CO's for their great effort in placing these caches in their locations. Cache found and log signed. TFTC
Located after a short search with RePete. Bit of a stretch to get it from where I was standing but no offence committed. Located @ 1600
Staying at Maryborough for the weekend, we ventured up north to get a few caches while the rain held off in the company of GeoBots. With the area having so much to offer in the way of exploring old mine sites we happily toured around the countryside. We are sure back in the day there would have been a need for so many schools with the miners children needing a good education. It was great to see this building still in good condition.
Thanks for the cache tigersden.

Out and about collecting caches for the Planetary Pursuit. Made a quick find of this cache, thanks.
TFTC. A lovely building and a lovely morning for a drive to find a couple of caches i had missed yesterday due to time constraints.

Out for a bit of a geocaching session after work in (somewhat) central Victoria, managed to get a dozen caches before eventually being carried away, geovehicle included, by monster mozzies. It felt like they were attaching the car like a mob of Orks.
Wandered around a little and finally spotted it tucked up in it's cosie little home.
**Thanks for placing this cache tigersden**
