I called in here on the way to try to find a cache in Pukerua Bay. Lucky I found this one, as I didn’t find the Pukerua Bay one. This one was in a very obvious place, not hidden at all, so I’m not sure if it’s been moved from its normal hiding place. The log does seem to have a lot of writing on it, possibly from school children who’ve found it. I did following the directions to return it to the exact place I found it, so CO may wish to check that it is indeed the right place. Thanks for the cache
and I have been meaning to grab this one for a while now, so took to chance while out today grabbing some of the Kiwi GeoTrail. A nice straightforward find. TFTC. KTG
I'd given this cache a brief look in poor weather a few months ago, but obviously not looked hard enough. This morning, out for a walk with my partner for Sunday morning coffee in Plimmerton, gave it another go. Jen, of course, found it in two minutes, and delighted in ribbing me about having a boy look. Whatever! Great to tick this one off the list. Tftc!
After seeing the previous DNF logs, I was almost about to give up here, but glad I made one last sweep of the area, and found this neatly hidden cache. Happy to claim another smiley today, cheers
Part of effort to catch up on my logging backlog!
Found with aeshna_uk on a drive to the Plimmerton for Sunday brunch and a visit to Palmer's nearby. Took a brief walk up the road for a quick, easy find. TFTC!

It looks like it's going to be a glorious weekend in Wellington for me. It's nice to see the sun and to feel the warmth after so much rain and icy southerly blasts over the last few weeks.
This afternoon I was able to get out of work early and make my casual way down to Lower Hutt, and stop at a few caches along the way that I've been meaning to look for but never had the time to do so before, such as this one.
Looking at the structure in question, I figured I knew where to go to start my search, and as it turns out I was spot on, finding the cache almost immediately. There was no-one else around to disturb me whilst I retrieved the cache and signed the logsheet before replacing it all back as found. No issues to report with this cache.
Thanks for the smiley

Found … my 5th cache … lots of muggles around so I ended up looking busy on my phone till they passed! Great view from the top of this bridge!
Staying in Whitby for the weekend collecting the Kiwi trail plus a few others caches. Fortunately only had to pass this once before spotting it. Lucky I think. Thanks for the smiley.
After trying out a push bike for the first time in a LONG time I was super thrilled to manage to ride all the way up (and down) I was so excited had it not been for my chaching buddies i would have missed it completely
Hey yeetrees! Came here once before without GPS lol! Great day out for a early lunch cache chasing some wonder of the world souvenirs. Hope your well. Thanks for the walk.
Thanks Yeetrees for placing this cache
It was a bit broken as others noted, but I had spare containers and tape in my car so it's now almost as good as new. My tape wasn't silver so I taped some of the old tape back onto the new container to help keep it camo'ed.

Easy find with @peadub. Put cache into a plastic Ziploc bag to give it some extra protection from the elements. Signed log and replaced where found. TFTC.
I quickly saw the attraction of this easy to find cache. Found in about three seconds. Log is slightly damp as inner container has no cap, and outer container is cracked around the base.
We searched high and low, started to think this was gone....will try again in a month or so, hopefully I just missed it!
Spotted straight away but delayed retrieval as a Mini muggle was waiting a few metres away for more muggles to catch up before moving on.
Thanks
Thanks
Was keen to find another 'wonder of the world' but the rain came down and I decided to call it a day!
tftc quick find with pixiebar as we drive through this evening. logbook is lost as the lid to the smaller container is missing.
Happened, by chance, to be here during a Level 4 Lockdown leg stretch. No traffic, no muggles, no pen, nothing. I recorded the find with a photo which has been sent to CO. With his permission I am logging this as a find.
Tftc. Sent the 11 and 12yr old to get this one and 3yr old was getting tired. Easy enough find and they thought it funny to have a car toot at them while they wandered along the top.
Out with MightyMicra and his new Garmin - I found it first with my old Huawei phone! TFTC.
Popped up the stairs and found this one quickly enough. Luckily no train arrived during my search. Tftc!
It just so happens that I was passing by again today. I did contemplate leaving it because I've looked several times for the one at Belmont in the distant past but there was a park so I decided to have a look. Absolutely chuffed to find it in the first place properly checked. Must go back and have another look at Belmont next time I'm passing by there. TFTC # 13,720
In our way to the History Beneath Your Feet cache so grabbed this number in passing. Margie spotted it as we approached while I was letting my fingers ship the walking.
TFTC, cheers

I drove under this bridge countless times when I lived in Wellington, but never walked across. This morning, Miss Two and I made it the goal of our walk with Ted the Dog. Thanks!
Our timing was not the best as a train had just arrived. Had to wait for the stragglers before we could sign the log. Thank you.
Today was the last official day of the Mega.
Plans were to collect as many puzzle caches that we had solved in the area plus anything else that came along.
Most of the puzzles were road side witch was extremely busy so parking in some cases were peoples driveways and balancing on road edges and some we didn't go for as they were to difficult to get to. Another day and we have to return.
Al in all a very successful day. SLTFTC

WENZ Mega Weekend is finally here... Our big focus for today will be to clear out the Kiwi Geo Art trail around the Pauatahanui Basin. We are expecting some challenges here - narrow roads and lots of muggles. With Gap (of Fap and Gap), NZFlossy, and McJandals...
Sunday: We were a little more relaxed today, since there were no pressures to be at certain places on time... There were a few people using the crossing at the time of visiting. Luckily, the camouflage was off kilter, as this does blend in if one isn't looking hard enough... TFTC.

Staying at nearby motel and was out early. No muggles about. I soon spotted the container and did the business. Thanks.

Attending the Wellington MEGA, great to visit here from the sunny Bay of Plenty, these finds have been found with my team members, which include myself, NZ Flossy, Squirrel Nutcase, FapandGap, Philip Perry, TNXPRO and Davidson Clan (To save room on logs) We are having a blast and gathering lots of smileys along the way. Please excuse generic logs in advance. (as I have saved the template using Cachly) Many Thanks to all you cache owners for the placements. Cheers
Attending the mega with TeamBOP. Great time to catch up with other cachers and visit Wellington lLots of fun and laughs while finding lots of great caches Thanks to all the COs for providing all the caches and the work that goes into them. Sorry for the generic logs will try to add to them once back home Thanks
Mum wanted to find one more cache for the day so I said I would get out and help her find it. After we had finish signing the logbook I then made her wait as I crossed over just because I could and I was there. Then it was a race back to the car.
Thanks for the cache

Day 3 of an epic North Island road trip to visit family and friends and celebrate the mother in laws 80th birthday. Lots to do today so I nipped out while the youngest was still eating breakfast with the two older boys to grab this cache.
As the trip is not primarily a caching trip I had to choose carefully which ones we would hunt for. We spent the afternoon in Paraparaumu Beach with friends so as we headed back along SH1 made a quick stop from the slow moving traffic to grab this cache. It will help fill a large gap for a challenge cache that I would at some stage like to qualify for.
Thanks for the cache, not the first time I have wanted to stop but the first time I have had time to.
Cache was not to hard to find but due to the lid being broken off the LOGBOOK WAS WET but I still managed to write my son's name and mine on a radom blank page.

I have been out in the Pauatahunui Inlet area four days this week already... doing some maintenance on a few caches and enjoying the sunshine. I own a six of the Kiwi Geo Trail series and the log books were getting wet and two of the containers were missing. There wasn't any maintenance left to do, but I still decided to finished work a bit early and come out here on the way home. My main mission was to have a look for this one.
I parked in the same place I did on Wednesday and walked down to GZ. It took me ages to find the cache, mainly because I decided to do a systematic search of the entire structure until I found it. The previous finder must have either been in a hurry or was having difficulty getting the plastic bag back into the container. That's actually how I found it in the end... I saw the plastic in a place where plastic should not be. The next searcher won't be so lucky!
I put everything back where I found it and got on my way.
The cache is in good condition. All nice and dry.
Thank you

In Paremata for a daffodil show. Time to stop on my way home. Thanks Yeetrees for the cache.
Harder than I thought it would be, and plenty of muggles around, log book is very damp
Finally found it! We've been here a few times looking with local school kids, and made an evening mission to have a last look, after seeing that others had found it since. Yay! Finally! Very satisfied!
TFTC! Beautiful morning to take dog for a walk. Forgot a writing device so couldnt sign log unfortunately
Have looked and looked but couldn't find this. We're assuming it's stuck to the over bridge somewhere but 3 visits have failed to find it
Grabbed this one on my way outta town, no too many places it could be, and sure enough it was in one of them. Log book is still damp, but not bad. Added a plastic baggie to help keep it dry. TFTC
#563. Quick stop heading north to fill in another dot day. Took longer than it should have. Why do I always assume hint word = micro nano? Log is very wet due to lack of lid on cache. Signed log with difficulty & returned cache in vertical position to hopefully avoid further dampness. Tftc Yeetrees
Got *x* and *y*, now to sort *z* Didn’t take long, thanks Yeetrees. Lid gone.
Yah ftf in 2018 yeetrees thanks for the cache...yes if course it would in that place lol....it needs a new container the sea air has taken its toll and the lids gone
Well not satisfied with our 23km this morning we ventured out late this afternoon to check out a bit more of plimmerton. The water front was blowing a game so we back pedaled and found this overpass. And of course the cache. Poor container lid has disintegrated- it's still there but only just. Thanks for the placement Yeetrees
Found it some time ago, but forgot to log it. Was a clever hide, took a bit to find it
