Looked around the trees. Unfortunately didn't find it. May have been muggled, may of not.
Great use of this type of cache container. We are often not a fan, but in this instance it was very appropriate and gave us a smile! Our first full day in Orange, and a chance to do some serious caching. We had quite a number of pre-solved caches on our agenda as well as others in the area. Our journey took us through a range of different sections of the town; residential, business, retail and some great parks and wetlands areas. We encountered some good hides which we awarded favorites as well as some challenges and straightforward finds. The weather was perfect but as usual got cold all of a sudden later in the day.Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache steve.hick.**SKI Pair****
A loose plan was hatched for a 3-week road trip with RoamingHowie to explore locations in Country NSW wed not been to before and of course, find a cache here and there.DAY EIGHT: Bye bye Bathurst, hello Orange. I swear I just looked there. But I looked BEHIND, then RoamingHowie says Its not this is it?. Doh!Thanks for bringing us here by placing this cache, steve.hick ~~
It was time for the traditional post Christmas road trip. The stockings were emptied of presents, feasts were devoured and great times were had with family and friends. Now to get away!Day 8: Its time to leave Bathurst and venture a little further north west to Orange. Trying to dodge the weather along the way.We were looking in the wrong spot initially. I moved to the other side after OzHockeyChick had looked. Ive just looked there she said as I grabbed the cache in plain view .Thanks steve.hick for adding this cache to the worldwide collection for us all to enjoy. ----------------------------------------------------------The Ballarat GeoTour ends on 4 March 2024! With the rain looking like it was going to get worse today, I headed out this morning in search of a cache for the day. I wasn’t keen on looking for a nano, but with a DNF on a nearby cache, this was my next closet. I must admit I ended up searching for this one far longer than I should have, but fortunately I spotted the simple hide that was well blended in.

Out visiting a friend in Orange and took the time to grab a couple of caches whilst in the area. Great to grab another cache to add to the collection. Thanks for the cache!
DNF avenged. This was much easier in daylight. Found with Nibletricecakes on a trip to Orange. TFTC
After picking up the drinks I went for one more. Not certain why I haven’t grabbed this one previously / maybe it was missing. Took longer to return the cache than to spot the cache. Those people that love to sign multiple cells really are special - my log was TE5.

Camping at the Showgrounds.
This morning we wanted to visit Mount Canobolas so we targeted the caches on the way there & back .
This was a good way to tour the area.
A sneaky little hide here.
Thankyou steve.hick for placing this cache.

Also spent the last few days orienteering. A great event, well done organisers. Now for a few caches. Mrs C was on fire here and orienteering. She pounced on this cache quickly while Mr C struggled out of the car.
Today was about orienteering and then cleaning up a few caches on the way back to Orange. This includes a number of target caches. This cache was chosen because of the difficulty rating (although I think it has 2 stars too many after making the find).
Cue the nano rant: Bloody Nanos! Spawn of satan. Burn down the Nano factory, and exterminate anyone who sells Nanos.
Thanks for the cache steve.hick.

No luck for us here tonight. Guess we will have to try again another day. Thanks for the cache.
Nibletricecakes and I searched for this one late at night. We spent a bit of time here but did not come away with a smiley.

What a terrible location , standing in 10cm of water and trying to reach into a full to the top drain is not my idea of geocaching fun
Ooh yuk. After reading all the previous logs we knew where to look but there is definitely nothing there.
I was with ally's mob a wild ago, but have recently went up there are wrote my own name
The cache is gone, the mount fell off in my hands and no dozen of the container. : (
Found it, but forgot to take a pen so couldn't write on log. It was just sitting on the ground in the open, not sure if that is where it is supposed to be or not? We just left where we found it.
Gross find! Hand were completely covered in muddy water. We also got a fair few odd looks from cyclists and people walking past. Can't say it's my favourite cache!
That was quite a draining experience. I am going to give it a favourite as it was unique but it is a shit position in someone's driveway along a busy road. Both hands ended up soaking wet Grrrr. But nice to do something different. Tftc

After having a really slack month only found two so far this month, Decided a little road trip was in order to rectify the situation. So rumbled down te thin black line early morning heading down to the Big Smoke and then West to Lithgow, Mudgee, Gulgong, Wellington, Orange then Bathurst heading home. Nice Cache, Thanks for the Adventure
Thanks for the great cache steve.hick(8D)

1st time ever geocaching today. This was our 5th attempt (previous 4 unable to find).
Excited!
Excited!
Two months hence and I have not heard from the owner so I am logging this as a find. 7-4-14
I received verification from another cacher that I was in the correct spot and although I couldn't sign the log due to a dead cat at GZ I am claiming this as a find.
I suspect that I found the right location, but I wasn't that keen on getting over a 'dead body' to retrieve the cache. I'll see what happens, but I might still log it as a find in due course.

Good hide. Didn't find on first attempt but had realised where it would be soon after. Had to wait a year to retry.
good find by the geo daughter. had some trouble getting the log book out so the macgyver like geo mum grabbed a kitchen tie and with help made a handle like thing to help others get the log sheet
A little unusual this hide, but found it after reading the description. Glad it was dry, thanks.
6719 + 838 = 7557. Found during a great weekend caching in the Bathurst region with Sol de Lune.
In Orange now. After a slight stutter I went down on one knee and came up with the find ! Signed and then we were off to the next one.
Thanks steve.hick !!

Well that was different....and a little bit of fun. Thought by the name we had it covered, but it just didn't seem right.....and the hint confirmed it. So, fitzy followed the instructions and the cache as soon in hand.
Thanks for the cache steve.hick

Went the wrong side at first on this one and had to lay down. I then went the right side and found quickly without having to get right down TFTC
Nice easy find (it helps when the owner tells you exactly where to look). Thanks for the cache, Steve. A+++ would find again.
Had a quick look - broken glass etc around - wondered what the reason really was for a cache here? Moved on to others...
Found it just before we gave up for a second time. Pleased to be able to cross this one off the list. Sneaky hide. TFTC
Sometimes the brain winks out and fixates on the wrong place. Thanks - enjoyed finally finding this one.
Second visit here and it still took quite a while to find, but eventually we did. TFTC steve.hick.
Clever hide! 4 GPS' each a little different and 5 sets of eyes had us crawling and peering and perseverence eventually paid off. TFTC steve.hick
TFTC it wasn't that hard to find but we may have been spotted moguls snuck up on us.
What a busy road! Looked hard but couldn't find it - not even with the clue. Searched everywhere we thought it could possibly be.
Couldn't hang round long enough to find though I reckon I was looking in the right spot - just too many antiquers in the area.
Found my 100th geocache this 2013 Australia Day long weekend, but I'd never logged any of my finds. So I decided now is an opportune time to do so!
This was cache #55, found on our most successful caching day around Orange yet. And nice to have a chat with the cache owner TFTC steve.hick!
