According to my co-ords I was still 10 Mrs from it. But easy to find anyway. Tftc
Today Im day tripping with LB, doing some caching, a bit of maintenance and planning on attending an event later tonight on the coast. After lunch in Kadina we headed out on the backroads. LB was finally able to change her blue face into a brilliant yellow one TFTC The WackysKeep smiling
Nice easy find with wal & ol, mrP spied it from the car, fave for the adventure. TFTC!
Weekend trip to Wallaroo and Kadina with Pony1966. Day 3, on the way home.Mr P spotted the cache from the car, then Mrs P also found the original mint tin and stick nearby. Now bison and tin are reunited TFTC
I have come over from NZ to vist family and cache. Finishing the top of the trail and other caches in the area. Staying at sisters bach tonight and heading back to Adelaide tomorrow
quick find.
Found with Mogni. Mogni wants to get to 20, 000 by the Rutherglen Mega in Victoria and make that event her 20, 000 th. So we went out to complete the " THE Sad Fisher series " and stay in Moonta for the night. We got 150 finds for the weekend even though we started out at lunch time Saturday. Any damaged caches found where replaced with a new container and any logs found full or almost full were replaced or a extra scroll added. The weather couldn't make up it's mind, over 30 on Saturday and it rained almost all of the way home.

We have travelled over to Kadina to an extended Australia Day long weekend. Today is our last day, but before pulling up stumps and heading home, we headed out to clear a few more off the map. Not sure of the name reference here but a quick find. TFTC
Today I headed to the YP for caching. Today I on the main part hated my hobby. It’s weird as I have been doing this hobby for almost 10 years and generally it makes me feel good to be alive. Sadly not today.
My phone was a pain in the ass not sure why but almost every find had me around 10m away from where the actual cache was. I was stuffed with the caches with no hints of which there were many.
I over heated, the flies were insane, so many caches were in or behind prickle bushes or trees with low branches, covered in scratches. I have an inordinate amount of dnfs. My list of whinging goes on and on.
I am grateful really to all the people who made the effort to hide and maintain a cache for me to find. I do appreciate it even if I don’t sound too grateful.
Anyway I got 52 for the day so have to be ‘happy’ with that!
Quick find here log book missing so added a new one TFTC

TFTC. Day 10 of honeymoon caching trip. Off on the road again! Slower start to the day after a couple of late ones!
Happy caching and safe travels!

A bit sneaky. I almost missed it! All is good here as I head back to town after a day of exploring. The temp is starting to drop!
Another cache found with richlink on our 2022 South Australian Adventure.
A chilly one today but that won't put us off our quest. We have enjoyed our time travelling the YP. Fantastic towns, ruins, beaches and cliffs. Thanks to all the COs for taking us on a geo-guided tour.

Chilly weather has returned and storm coming later today so on a mission to clear as many as we can around Kadina with iluvtrekking. Thanks for the hide.
Found during a stay at Moonta for an extended weekend, targeting caches mostly around Moonta on Saturday, Wallaroo on Sunday and Kadina on the Monday. Thanks for the cache The Wackys!
Despite accurate coordinates, it took a few minutes to locate this boldly hidden cache. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks The Wackys for the cache.
A nice day out pottering around finding the odd cache as we go with Purrfect Di.
Team Mattycat stamp means the both of us were here today [8)]
Ohhh a wild mint tin bush [:o)]

Today, the weather was forecast to be dismal with thunderstorms and a rain drenching! Consequently, gridge98 and I retreated to the more dry vicinity of Upper Yorke Peninsula. Other than a few drizzles, we had good weather. We visited Paskeville, Kadina, Moonta, Balgowan, Point Pearce, Maitland, and Arthurton, with highlights of the mining relics, 4WD-ing along the west coast beach, and finally dinner and heading around Maitland. A long day out and about, arriving home just after midnight.
Another quick find in these areas. The cache container was in good shape, but we found the logbook difficult in retrieving. Thanks The Wackys for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

Today With the weather more promising on the yorke peninsula than in Adelaide, Davidwazza and I decided to head over and clean out as much as we could as well as doing quite a bit of beach 4wdriving.
In total 87 finds within 1 DNF for the day.
Thanks for the Cache

Day 266 (Thursday 21st) of our trip. Caching along the way. In Maitland today. A total of 23 for the day and 5575 for the trip. TFTC
Two geo animals were out caching on their Wednesday wandering.
This was a DNF back in October last year.
A quick find today in the daylight. Tftc

The usual Wednesday for the animals of the Puzzled Puzzlers. Plans were made for the Rat, Adder and Starfish to head to the top of the peninsular is search of a few previous DNF's and to fill the maps of Kadina and Moonta with smiling faces. An early morning call though from the Starfish letting us know that he was not well, left only the Rat and Adder to enjoy the day.
A previous DNF, this one was on the "hit" list. This time with the structure bare of cammo it was found much easier.
A DNF off the list. TFTC

Heading off for a couple of nights at Port Broughton to relax. May as well pick up a few caches along the way!
Normally you would travel through Bute but this DNF from October last year had been found a few time since so I made the detour for another look. [:o)] Last time it was a search by torchlight and the bush was alive. Now it was daylight and the bush is very much dead. Took all of a millisecond to spot the cache. Took way longer to get the log book out of the cache. [B)]
**Thanks The Wackys for this cache. **

An adventurous group of animals went a caching.
We headed over to the Yorkes, for caching adventures.
This was a DNF for us. After searching to no avail.

Another piece of geoart to collect. [^] But first have to spend a few hours working through the puzzles. Not a problem for the Puzzled Puzzlers group. So that done we decided that these could be the start of our weekly Wednesday caching adventure. Today's group consisted of myself, S.A. Sewer Rats and Doctor Owl. We found the first one at 10.26 a.m and the last at 1.55 p.m. Not a bad three and a half hours work. [:o)] 80 finds with no DNF's. So after lunch we still had plenty of time to go and grab a few more caches. [:o)] The Owl however had other pressing matters.
After stopping for a late dinner in Kadina we decided to try and grab a few more by torchlight on the way home. [8)] Perhaps it had just bee a very long day. I tripped over a rock and ended up ion the ground. We couldn't find the cache. Perhaps we should just come back again in daylight.
**Thanks The Wackys for the search anyway. **

Another day for a few of the Puzzled Puzzlers to finish filling the gaps on the map along the top of the Yorke Peninsular, The Adders, Starfish and a Rat, clearing out Kadina, Wallaroo and a number of others that are currently active. An earlier visit to the area had us travelling along another roads leaving these for another day. A DNF for us under torchlight. A return planned during daylight for another attempt.
It took me a few moments to spot because I was looking in the wrong spots early. TFTC
Found by Mary & David at 1024. Delighted to turn pour previous DNF into a smiley. The area at GZ now has a lot less foliage than back then, so we can now understand why we had so much trouble, Quite easy today. Our thanks to The Wackys.
A couple of days of geocaching with Aussie M & M. As normal we laughed, we tried hard not to hurt ourselves and only replaced or repaired about 6 geocaches. Apologies for the generic logs but it was a big couple of days.
Thanks to The Wackys from mogni

Out caching for the day with Mark and mogni. We were aiming to cache our way to Kadina, which only took about 6 hours when it is only a 2 hour drive. There may have been a few detours for caches we just had to do. This one was one of those.
Thanks to The Wackys

Hi there The Wackys.
We found your cache **"Baker's Dozen"** at 1:31:00 PM today. (This makes our find count 17260).
We cached around Moonta & Kadina today, & thoroughly enjoyed our tour around the area. We ended up finding a variety of container types and sizes hidden along the way. Today we found 6 caches (& DNF'd 4). Thank you for placing this cache here, without geocaching as our guide we would never have found so many interesting places on our travels.
**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found the cache around 2m from where the GPS said we should be looking.
**Cache Condition:** The container and log book are in good shape.
**Took:** Nothing.
**Left:** A Smiley Badge.
Thanks for the hunt today,
Regards
Ian & Penny.

Day Fifteen of our holiday, BettyBoo3747 and I went touring around the dusty roads of Kadina by both bike and car. We had weeded out the more obvious missing caches, but most of the others still need a lot of TLC.
We were hoping that there would be at least 13 caches here, but no, just one sneaky one!
Thanks, Robmc.

#11832. Day 15 of our SA holiday. Our last day in the Copper Triangle so we loaded up the bikes and headed to Kadina for the day. Riding and driving we visited many caches (leaving out the ones that were obviously missing) but still managed not to find them all. I added 22 smilies but also had 5 DNF's.
I was expecting 13 eggs in a basket or something like that. Eventually, Rob spied the nasty hide and then it was difficult to open it and retrieve the log for signing. All done and we were on our way.
Thanks The Wackys

Decided to have a drive from Moonta Bay this afternoon to pick up a few stray caches around Kadina that I needed to find. [^]
Took a bit of looking but in the end the coordinates were spot on and I just needed to be looking in the right direction.
Thanks for the cache The Wackys.

Setting out from Port Wakefield, in the good company of Suscoe, seeking an ancient middle eastern icon, along with other local caches including this one - we have a cache of our own called A Baker's Dozen in Victoria, closer to a bakery than this one!
Our thanks to The Wackys for placing this cache.

Suscoe enjoyed a delightful Saturday travelling around the upper regions of the Yorke Peninsular in the terrific company of Phetlern.
We found caches from Port Wakefield all the way across to the west close to Wallaroo and south towards Moonta and in Kadina.
It was a cold start to the day with some sunshine but that was soon to end as cloud moved in and the pleasant day became a little cool.
We found caches in the Pyramid series, various multi’s and a range of traditionals as we travelled around. Many were in good condition but there were a number of caches that were looking quite sad.
Thanks to The Wackys for creating these caches for us to solve and find

Yes, I am back... It took me a few minutes to find it. Sneaky hide.
Thanks The Wackys for the cache

Maybe the locals should check this on as it hasn't had a find since before the "owner maintenance" log.
As I now live in Tasmania, I won't be able to do the required maintenance on this cache for a while. I have however contacted a local to request that they fix up the cache for me. Until then, the only issue is that it's fallen down. Happy hunting!
We searched all around our indicated GZ , and widened our search, but found nothing. Our thanks anyway to The Wackys.
Came to the lovely YP to see and experience the Kernewek Lowender and of course visit a good friend. Naturally there was time to cache . This was found during that time. Thanks for the caches we loved them. Cache had clearly come loose from hiding spot and this needs attention

I had a few minutes before church nearby (for once). I thought I'd tackle this cache that I had no success with a month ago in the dark. At first I wasn't getting anywhere with finding this cache, but I a sneak at earlier logs, which led me to look downwards. Success!!! TFTC Too small for Travel Bug.
Found on a morning of caching form Snowtown to Kadina.
Found on the ground, I presume with the Velcro on the cache its supposed to be stuck to something.
Couldn't see where so left where we found it.
Thanks The Wackys

I had previously had a quick look for this one and couldn't find it, but this time I found it straight away. I am pretty sure it is not where it is supposed to be, but I don't know where it is supposed to be, so I couldn't put it there.

A bit of a muddy road but fun to have the car sliding around. The cache was on the ground and not where I am thinking it was supposed to be. Left cache where I found it. TFTC
