four logged DNFs, so we decline the invitation to visit.
Noted though that despite the DNFs, no one has logged a Needs Maint log.
Maybe next time in the north, we will be able to visit.

Gave it a 40 minute search. If this cache was using local materials as a disguise it would be disguised as a green beer bottle as there are plenty to be found. I also found a few prickles. Must be time for cache owner to check it out.
No sign of cache unfortunately. We spent about 20 minutes looking and came up with nothing. Looks like this one has been muggled as plenty of beer bottles dumped at GZ.
Nice easy find. Bumped into a council member but otherwise no problems.

What great fun this morning has been to explore an area we've literally flown past often. We were parking and getting ready to walk even before the gate when someone came out of a house and drove down the road so we thought ok. Made the find and checked out the beach - great. Thanks for bringing us here. NINO TFTC
I decided it was time to do a few out this way as I had just dropped my son at the domestic terminal.

31-03 11th find of the day at 13:35 and 1287th find in total.
We were surprised by this one twice.
The first surprise was the good condition of the cache, we were expecting something a bit more challenging and the second surprise was meeting a fellow cacher while we were waiting for the cars to pass so we could drive off.
Very pretty cache container...
(''\(OoO)/'') Thanks barkingmadnz for the caching fun!

Last find of 44 for the day before picking up the little blue hen from the airport. TFTCSL
6444 Interesting spot, didn’t know this road existed. Drove down with the landrover, nice views at the end of the road, TFTC.
I was tickled pink to find this cache, especially with the two very cute cache guardians on top of the container.

Was on my way to complete the MWTP series nearby and decided to knock this one off too. Arrived t the first gate and it was open so continued to the second gate which also was open. Was in luck today and was able to park right next to GZ. Nice quick find on a wet day in Auckland. Now off to do the MWTP series. TFTC
Found on the way to the new series by FMZ and 10cc. Did not even need to do any hunting for this one as the container was visible from the car as I pulled up. Covered up much better. TNLNSL. TFTC.
Out and about on a warm Sunday afternoon. Made our way down a road we never knew about. The road was reasonably busy today but we managed to locate the cache, sign the log and leave without being noticed. TFTC
Plenty of cars at the endbut no sign of people, just watched by a herd of bullocks.

A diversion down a road I've never been before. Had to negotiate entry with the moogles by the gate. Otherwise no problems with cache. TFTC, Biggles.
IN the time it took Rich to turn the car around I was like a terrier down a holee - found, signed and replaced carefully. t4tc
14:45 Super fast find. Should have had the F2F two weeks ago, but looks like the GPSr had me nearly 15 meters out. TFTC.

No-one should fail to find this one! A few empty cans around, however, might indicate it's not as lonely as you'd think.Cheers!
Nice little hidden hide away. Very windy at the beach so didn’t hang around long. TFTC
Gate was locked. Never mind, the dog enjoyed the walk and the swim and the walk back. Thanks.
Searched for some time, after a F2F on another barkingmadnz cache placed tonight. Just did not want to get too 'involved' with the thorns, especially with the clothes I was wearing and nothing around suggested anywhere obvious. There are some serious thorns in this area.
After about 20 minutes, I got another alert on my phone that another barkingmadnz cache had been listed just around the corner so off I went, a brisk 1/2km walk back along the gravel road in the dying light.
Another time.

Very nice of bluedahlia to leave the FTF here for me. Arrived moments before the gate-locking man, who flashed his lights down the road at me, so I made a hasty retreat and took the foot access option. Nice walk in the warm evening, and a lovely view down the harbour as the light was fading. A couple of other cars were leaving when I was walking down, but they were too late and were locked in. Went straight to this one, luckily, and had it within seconds - which was nice as I had pencilled in a few more to have a go at tonight. FTF TFTC!!!
