A bit of the beaten track. Your bearings were spot on. Thank you for creating this divine trail.

Found @ 12:47am, find # 3535.

Out on another caching run, this time on a Saturday with biggles1024.
The main purpose for this run was to pick up a letterbox cache, a D/T and find a night cache, everything else was a bonus.

This one was just a little further along the trail from our previous find.
Being a bit dark we didn't see any seat or glass house, only a cache that we found.

Thanks to Gonefishen07 for placing this cache.

Find #1480

Out for a caching run with Stemicmitsar on Saturday instead of our usual Friday night run. We headed to Wonthaggi to grab a Letterbox and also add to our D/T ratings.
We were nearing the end of our run but there was still time for a couple more caches. This was one of those. I missed seeing the glass house, but it was dark and I can't even remember seeing the seat. Red Face Well I was tired and that's my story and I'm sticking to it. Wink

A wonderful coastal walk, a little challenging with the mud in places today, after the gps bouncing around at the quickee cache and abandoning it, we made our way to this cache. Glad the wing isn't hammering too badly today. A bit worried about the safety vest we passed in the exclusion zone on the way up but no owner to be found and we wern't heading out further to look. A lovely cache walk for kids and adults.

We've been meaning to return to this walking track since november 2011. We were amongst a group of people that day celebrating a special occasion and very distracted. We were keeping these caches for a nice day to enjoy the coast. Don't quite know why we decided to brave the shocking weather conditions today. The track very was wet and muddy and the ocean choppy. Pleased to sign the log and enjoy this spectacular coastal walk

I walked along the trail enjoying the views as I went. I was tempted to see if I could get down the cliff to where the fishermen were but thought better of it. On to the cache. I think I took several photos of that house and even spotted some movement - so someone must live there.

The cache was a little difficult to get too and fortunately I didn't came across any wildlife.

Found this with Madboy42 and a friend. A very cute little hide, although I'm a bit worried at the damage that the geotrails in this area appear to be doing. It was drizzly at this point, but when we continued along the George Bass Coastal Walk it turned out to be a beautiful day! TFTC

A promising morning & a warm fine afternoon had us walking the Bass Coast Trail. Our intention was to complete the return walk to the Punch Bowl car park and find all the caches on the way.
Yet again spot on. Thanks Gonefishen07.

I found it quite ironic that at a seat/cache dedicated to an environmentalist that a decent amount of bush-bashing was required here. Didn't find a cone-trail so walked around and approached from the top. Was settling in for another lengthy search when - from some distance away (was looking in wrong spot) - I saw the mostly uncovered cache. Found a couple of pine cones and some bark at GZ so I tried to replace stuff as I guessed it should be.

I very much enjoyed the walk along the path, have done it a few times before but the weather today was close to perfect for it. The views were great and finding all the caches made it better again. I also enjoyed the cache size and distance between stops much more than on some other trails since there was time to walk and enjoy the scenery without stopping to search too frequently. Thanks for the caches & time/effort in setting them up and maintaining them.

Found @1343 #2167
Been keen to explore this part of the bass coast walk for awhile now and had some time to check out the first part of it. Just some amazing views seen and a few caches also found along the this walking track today. This was the first found and after returning the cache to its hide stood up to notice a muggle just near by on the track.Surprised I ducked down quickly and waited for them to move on being really quite. Hearing them pass I walk back the way I walk into GZ and as I was watching out for snakes I looked up to see a muggle on the track right in front of me. The cache was safe as I was some distance from it at this point but it was still a bit awkward as I passed, saying "G'day" and then walking down the track. In hindsight now I believe this may of been another fellow cacher. Should of asked if they were looking for something. A great spot for a cache and thanks for bringing me here. TFTC Gonefishen07

Find # 1355

After spending a couple of nights at my Aunts in Corinella, it was time to head home, but not before spending half the day completing at least some of the Bass Coast Trail and the caches along it.

After leaving the car park, I headed along the fantastic walking track, what a fantastic place in the world. Fantastic scenery almost everywhere I looked. This cache also took a while to find but again, I got there in the end.

Thanks to Gonefishen07 for the cache.

Found by Edmil and Todd, Maddie there in spirit. It was a reasonably quick find and thank goodness there were no muggles to be seen at this point. The log was signed but no swap was made. Thanks for the cache.

Found at 11:15:10 AM GAFF1. A pleasant walk after doing some maintenance on our nearby cache and passing by the "pink house". Lots of fishermen on the platform which we later learned had caught a few salmon and trevally.
Liked the finishing touch on this cache - the same distraction that we have on our Killer Punch cacheWink
Thanks Gonefishen07

Ran 12kms this morning to find some caches around this area. This was the first second of that jorney. Found it easily. Really like that walking track but had to quit due to the conference. Wish I could walk longer. Thanks!

Unfortunately we were unable to find the cache. However we did find the remains of a cache. Very hot snakey day and we were not inclined to search amongst the grass and bush too much. We were walking with a big group and it was awkward to search for caches. Will try again another day.

Found by Mary & David at 0835. Took advantage of Bills seat for a breather. Took a few minutes to spot the pine cones, and the cache shortly after. More wonderful views. Several fishing boats out already, and some brave ones down below on the rocks. Our thanks again to Gonefishen07.

I was on the Phillip island today and was going to finish what I started on the Monday - an island caching run. Heading down to Wonthaggi now I stopped at Punch bowl Quickee before heading down to track to find some of the caches along the coast line. That pink house near GZ is awesome too. Great views along the way. Cache found and log signed. Thanks for the hide.

Fourth of a dozen on a grand day out caching with Robmc ... in locations I've had in mind for caches for a while now ... Gonefishen07 you're a lot more pro-active than I am!
This was a great walk even without caches, now it's even more rewarding, thanks for bringing us here again on such a beautiful day.
As so often happens, Robmc and his superior caching skills retrieved this one while I was following a false lead down the wrong cachers' trail.

We had only just started to streatch our legs, so we didn't have a seat with Bill, but we did find his cache.
Thanks, Robmc.

A bit of a struggle to find the cache, but soon in hand.

Making my way from the first cache at Punch Bowl, my eyes were drawn away from the spectacular coastal scenery towards the equally spectacular pink house. Wow - this is one of the most impressive residences of the type I ever seen. This cache is worth doing just to get a good look at the house.

The cache took a fair bit of finding. The hint is not much help and there are heaps of places to look, but I got there in the end.
Nice spot Gonefishen07, but a decent hint would be nice.

Number 2 *FTF* one the way home with Spaldem. We seemed to misplaced Big GrinBig GrinBig Grin the FTF path-tag from the previous FTF so is was Spladems turn for this tag. Been really enjoying this series. I would like to say it is the most I have walked on this track but I have been on it many times before. Would be on of the best series around. Look forward to taking the walk many more times with some other caches who have not found it. TFTC.

This one took the most looking of all of em, it was about 2-3M away from where my GZ was pointing me (away from cliff), however with soo many more obvious places to check I neglected this spot until a few minutes later. The last in the series for me on this trip, however 3 more were published a few days later, which I look forward to getting on another trip down this way in a few months. Thanks GoneFishen for a wonderful series.. dropped Coin and dipped others.. *FTF* and Find # 861
