I can't believe that I put a cache where the parking is so diabolical. Fixed at last !
Visiting from Pennsylvania, USA with redsoxbean. We loved driving around and exploring the area. TFTC ^_^
Caching with Loth and Draak during a visit from the USA. We had a great stay and found many fun caches.
Second try for this one. This time we found it. Lovely spot, opposite the winery.
A Sunday unexpectedly up my sleeve, mrs capperz at work for the morning, nightowl19 round a friends house and just me and Tally the dog with (potentially) a whole day to kill time. Only one thing for it then, a trip 'over the hill'. On the list of wants was a full set of 8 recently listed eggs and a second look at some caches that last time I came were either missing, or I missed when looking. I've got a whole collection of solved puzzles burning a hole in my G P S too so keen to turn them into smilies if possible. Some I've had solved since prior to moving down here to the Mainland so keen to convert.
All up a successful trip; 35 caches found, 18 puzzles and 17 traditional caches. All 8 eggs were cracked, including a dirty half dozen before noon, got all the numbers required and will go for the final another time. A lovely sunny day today to herald the change of daylight saving and my smoke alarm tested itself, at 0430 this morning!!

There's always find for one more cache and I was pleased to finish my brief NYE2015 trip with another find.

Just over a year ago, I spent AGES unsuccessfully looking for this one, so I approached with some trepidation. This time, it practically waved at me! TFTC.

Out for an evenings drive (Wakefield, Neudorf, Moutere and back), finding some caches. Drove passed lots, but stopped for this one. TFTC.

We seem to be on a bit of a Sidewaze roll! Thanks for this one and we managed to avoid the gaze of the bloke mowing the grass in between the rows of grapes. #262
Couldn't see any nearby safe parking, so just waited in the car by the side of the road, while StreetWalker raced out to find and passed the log book through the window for me to sign. Luckily, so cars came along in that time. TFTC.
#8416. Parking was dodgy so I tried to be as quick as possible. Not to many hiding place; cache was in the second place I looked. TFTC.

This was one of the most epic weeks ever, and definitely my most epic caching week ever.
Me and mum headed up on a holiday north to Nelson and very wider surrounds. In total during the trip, we found almost 500 caches! (470 odd I think, but final results are yet to be in! ) We covered about 3000 odd km I think too. Crazy! And had our absolute best caching day ever too at 160 found. Spend 9 days travelling, caching, and having the best time ever!!
So sorry about not so epic logs, as otherwise this would probably take me the rest of my life to log, especially with two big events to organise coming up! Eeek!!
Almost every single log we signed as 'Team Polak' to avoid needing to write out both usernames taking up space on logsheet - as well as precious caching time!! Haha.

For the sake of sanity we set off with sonia26642 for a crazy geocaching trip, aiming to cache until we drop. The main destination was Nelson and the ‘surrounding’ area, but then we ended up covering a few miles in three northernmost regions, plus a few in Canterbury. We were signing/stamping the log as 'Team Polak' or ‘TP’ for the two of us on this trip to save logbook space. We found a lot of different caches, city ones, road side, park side, up a hill and on an island, and we enjoyed every single one of them. It was good to be a professional thingfinder for a few days!
We had great fun and are grateful to all CO’s who placed caches for us to find, and help restore our sanity before returning to our other non-geocaching lives!!
Come and join us the next New Zealand geocaching MEGA event!! Register your interest now at www.nzmega2015.com to receive newsletter updates and be the first to know. It will be a great event, come and be a part of it!!

The grapes are growing nicely but we can't hang about for the wine. Thanks for the cache.
[maroon]Day 4 of our 5 day Easter caching roadtrip. Today we were heading from Nelson towards the Mini Trail near Motueka, going up one way and coming back the other.[/maroon]
Awww! How cute. Couple of cars went passing while I was signing. They probably thought I was relieving myself (LOL) Thanks for the cache

Easter weekend and what better than to go cache hunting with my favourite Easter Bunny. Worked out a circuit and off we went. Stopped to pick this one up and a nearby dog raised merry hell but decided he was well fenced in and eventually he got bored and I got a smiley. TFTC
Today I Went for the 100 caches in 1 day. With a very early morning and just breaking even at lunch time with 50, it looked like it was going to be 12am to 12pm. But after a move out of the city they started to speed up, and i managed to grab the last at 20:30 with 106!! Thanks everyone for the caches that they have placed, from the ones that have been planed for months to the park and grabs
We were out for a drive with two of our granddaughters this morning, picking up caches for puzzles we had solved, and stopping for a few Trads along the way. When B for Mutton came up next on the GPS we just had to stop for this one. We had found many of the alphabet caches on our last visit almost a year ago, and were keen to complete the series.
Definitely looks like Mutton country around here. Coincidentally our daughter cooked us a very tender and tasty roast mutton for dinner tonight!
Nice easy find, thanks.

Having slogged my way slowly up Dominion Road I was reluctant to stop halfway down the hill to get this. Had a poke around a few spots and eventually came up with the goods. As for the question, went for the mutton burger at the Sarua festival, once I had a few beers to "rehydrate". TFTC
Managed to find a park up the road, next to which there was some mutton rotting out, very stinky. No one around when I was so a quick and easy find. TFTC
TFTC. Well this seemed to be invisible to both Merle Lutz and myelf. Don't know why and then after a good 10 minutes searching there is was right in an area that had already been search.
Pinot Noir sounded like a good idea as I walked down the road from where I'd parked the car. Didn't take too long to find the cache. Got muggled by a couple of guys on road bikes as I knelt beside the hide signing the log. Those bikes are too quite they can sneak up on you Got a couple of strange looks
Out for a few night caches, this was our first stop. A surprisingly busy road for a rural area but cache was found and log signed without any muggle problems. TFTC.
Maybe it was time that the 'good to go' of the cache was tested. So on a night cache run in the area with Holymu this test was conducted with positive results between an amasing amount of traffic. TFTC
Couldn't find any B for Mutton here today. With a couple of farmers busy fencing just up the hill, we didn't search for long.
Nope looked for while too.I got some strange looks from those passing by as well. Thanks anyway

Hilarious. Out on the bike with BartlettBoys. Wrote the date in the log - 11/11/11. Interesting. Quick check of the time - 11:11am. Spooky. TFTC.
too wet for any normal person. never too wet to find a couple of caches. mutton any day. tftc
A quick find today. Only just hidden from the vineyard workers. Prefer a hearty Aussie Cab Sav to go with the four legged suggestion personally.

no meat to be seen, but oh boy, the wind mill was getting a working over by the wind....rattle rattle
No beef or mutton or even a pinot grape dam will have wait for pinot maybe at home tftc
The first one I think, certinaly if it was matched with a local Pinot. Looks like all the grapes are picked now.
This was the second of nine of Sidewaze's Alphabet caches I found this morning. I really enjoyed the play upon words in this series. Thanks for all the effort and TFTC
Found this without too much trouble. Almost parked right beside the cache. Thanks for the cache
6689 Parking at a premium, glad the road was deserted. No Mutton to B seen here, TFTC.
Would have been lean pickings today - unripe grapes one side and empty paddocks on the other !!! another piece of road I don't think we have been down before - but we did used to get lost a lot when we first moved over signed log thanks for the cache
Now this I call a real drive by cache could almost reach from the car Think i would stock with the wine due to the other sides choice was only green blowing in the breeze TFTC
In a far far away time, long before earthquakes (well, about ten days before, actually), Annie & PB went geocaching in Nelson for Annie’s birthday. Some of the caches never got logged, and this was one of them. So we’re logging it now – with a, hopefully, never-to-be-repeated, repetitive log.
So, thanks for your cache, and I’m pretty sure we signed the log. We maybe even took a coin or TB on further travels, or possibly dropped one off.
We remember this one because it took Annie WAY longer to find than it should. And B for us thanks!

Neither in sight today just the mournful bellows of cattle far off. Some of our sporting heros reckon its for lamb rather than mutton. Left a reindeer TB as it sort of fitted in more ways than one. TFTC #1942
Nice One!!!!!!!!!Man, you were right about the road. One BIG BIG truck gave me one BIG fright, so look out for the BIGGIES as well. The Masda wasn't to happy either. Yet, much fun in such a great area to visit. Easy find. Thanks
Yes Mr and Mrs KE both fancy a nice pinot. A quick stop while out caching without any kids tonight. TFTC
No lamb in sight and following on from Mr B, I hope that the crop across the road produces a nice red to go with it one day. TFTC, Biggles.
