GI Joe is still MIA and am unable to pursue his whereabouts in the forseeable future so please remove the listing permanently. Thanks for your patience.
Thought I would return for Attempt #3 on this one... but sadly WCC was repainting the toilet block just next to GZ when I came past.
Attempt #3 will have to wait

I think that this GI Joes gone a-wall. Better things to do !! Nice park with people walking their pets. Cheers
DNF at 5.05pm. Looked at a lot of stones! No sign of anything that resembled a cache.
Too good for us - Thanks Lloydelicious.

507. Well the 4 of us scoured the area for ages to no avail. Really stumped on where this one could be.
We tried, but we failed....
4 of us looking for about 15 minutes, but alas we couldn't see it. A good hide that I hope to get next time.
Thanks anyway....

Found after attending the nearby event. Needed a bit hint from The Neighbs who had previously found this one. Not really a rock, more a small stone LOL. TFTC
We tried searching for it and couldn't find it. We rang a geofriend who had found it, and following their directions we still couldn't find it . We will try again in a few weeks.
took us a while to find this one but My Geogirl and I finally spotted it! TFTC
Very cute - great coords make it an easy find. Found with "The Neighbs". TFTC )
462. Couldn't even find the rock from the previous log. #4 in my new record 7 consecutive DNFs.
Second go at this after a rush for FTF with wrong co-ords on its publishing. I think that the dark may have made this tooo hard for tonight!
Found a tree with a rock wedged between a couple of branches, but it might not have been the right one, especially since we couldn't find the cache despite finding the rock.
GPS changed its mind by about 10m half way through the search too, so that was very confusing.

Nice one! Found just before dark...any later and I doubt we would have. SL TFTC
Found on second try... Rock was missing so we replaced it. Thanks for the help hexathon. My first geocache, yay!
Once the GPSr setlled down it was a simple find. Thanks Lloydelicious for the cache

The area was so quiet today. We had to make sure that we signed the log quietly so as not to disturb the neighbours. A very pleasant area to visit. TFTC
Once the gps pointed me in the general direction, found cache fairly quickly without it's help.
Nice quick find. This park used to be a soccer field a few years back. Even scored a ripper goal against Ferhill, left foot 30 m out straight in the top corner goalie had no chance. Those were the days before they broke my legs.
TFTC and the memories.
Ironbark.

A nice park. It is one of those spots that although living in the area for more than 20years I don't think I'd ever visited. Lucky for the nearby residents that they have this facility.
I was expecting something a little bigger than 'Micro Man' but thems the breaks!
Thanks for bringing me to a nice spot on a short detour to work!

At a cache with this name I expected a bit more bush than it turned out to be but nevertheless it brought me to an unknown location for me!

I found it after a short search then realised i was looking in the wrong tree. I found it after a while. By the way it was a very good hint Thanks Cheers
This one had us a little confused to start with. As we were driving down the road the TomTom said it was on one side of the road but the Garmin was telling us it was on the other. What the… Well, once we had figured out that GZ had been changed since the TomTom had been updated we were on our way to the correct location.
Shortly after arriving we were soon asked the question “Are you looking for GI Joe” by an approaching cacher who turned out to be ozvixen. After the initial surprise it was really fantastic to meet another player in the field.
Our many thanks to Lloydelicious for hiding this cache and many thanks ozvixen for all your assistance.

A couple of recent cache appearances near home inspired me on a local hunt. Met up with Black & White, and after removing an unsavoury item from a nearby tree (children play near here!?!?), I zeroed in for the find. TFTC!!
found it with paegle boy on the way home from bunnings
never new this park was here until now

I had to phone a friend for this one as I had the old coords in the gps, which put me down in someones front yard.
Once I had the right coords the cache was soon in hand. I had a mental picture that I might see "action man" here. Alas, mini-rat was a little disappointed.
Thanks

A nice easy find and a nice cool day to grab a few of the local caches.
Cheers.

A nice and easy cache with F@JonCo and Chip. Co was chasing a ball and Dingo was just glad to have a change in surroundings.
Cheers

Gosh - need urgent change the coordinate S34 23.115 E150 53.793. Thanks to toadmiester7 + Woody Figtree for correct the coordinate. Signe the log. Thanks Lloydelicious.
Popped in today as this was the only day left in January in which I have not found a cache. Using Woody's coords (s34 23.115 e150 53.793) found it just on the basis of google maps and the clue. Cute container. Shame the coords are out by so far (160 m). Cache owner should fix ASAP. I wonder who Pop Ermington was?

Found with Cranky Gekkos, no GPS, forgot the co-ords, but got it anyway. Council workers came and we nearly had to bring it home and take it back later, they were very interested in looking at us.
Thinking it was now daylight and maybe something would be evident I went to try my luck. Have to agree with Fluffyfish and Blue Mars with co-ordinates. Looked in park opposite, co-ords. not anywhere near right. Walked down to end of park near Northern Dist. parked car and walked along parallel with the Dist. came to a sort of park along creek bank heading in right direction, but it didn't go quite far enough for co-ords to be of use.
Joint FTF with Toadmeister7. Coords are a long way out. We found it at s34 23.115 e150 53.793. Will need updating. Thanks for the hunt in this quiet park.

LOL! This is a cursed cache. Woody's are out too.
EDIT : Woody fixed them up. Will go and pick this one up on Monday so that I have cached on every day in January!

Joint FTF with Woody figtree. We explored nearby park for signs of the hint and after several attempts we found the little guy on duty at the cache. Thanks for the thrill of hunt but coords were around 160m out. See Woody's log for more accurate coords
is it just me or gz seems to be in a house?
Edit : Visited GZ or near enough. Seems to be on private property. Doesn't fit the description (as I can see by night). Found a likely spot 140 m but no cache.

I concur fluffyfish - I even tried a laneway park behind the houses, but it doesnt quite extend this far. Glad I'm not going crazy ;/
