27-Feb-11
Thanks Aussie cacher for a great morning. It was good to catch up and put faces to the names of local cachers, Bikerbuddy, Wayward women, Deputy dog, Travelling Smiths, Richardy. Did some event caches afterwards and some FTF's

So thanks Aussies and keep up the great Geocaching events.

27-Feb-11
Thanks AussieCacher for hosting this one. We wondered how this would go in a shopping centre, but it worked well. A pity I missed talking to Travelling Smiths. After my DNF a while ago I did want to meet you. I did hear the bells ringing here though, as well - we all did! My kids were into it. Great to talk again to some increasingly familiar faces, as well as those we haven't come across before like Rainbow Spirit (thankyou for introducing yourself) and DKmacca. Cheers.

27-Feb-11
When I saw that this event was in a food court, I thought "Hmmm", but the boys were all for it. Certainly kept the younger members of caching families busy while we got to have a chat. Great to meet some new people and put a face to names we knew but hadn't yet met. Thanks Aussie Cacher for a great event. Hope you found your coin SuperSlothSonja. Great to catch up again with JKCourtz, Webby, Canary, Steveishere, Team Extreme PC and Richary as well as talk to a few we hadn't met like FarmerFrentzen, Juddda, dkmacca, purplepeopleater, webwitch, Glenwarra60 and morgans2320. Thanks for the good company everyone! Pity I missed Rogpol and a few others.

27-Feb-11
Great to meet you all thanks for the event Aussie C and will look forward to the next time.

Great to catch up with some fellow cachers. Hope the missing coin turned up for the owner.
Thanks for a great event AussieCacher and thanks also for the shiny red bison tube which will pop up somewhere near here soon Smile
It was great to pick up some new caches in the area and we were able to get a few FTFs Smile

Permission granted Wink I'm on my way !!!!

Was a great turn out as usual. The one thing I notice about this particular event, is, the sheer number of new faces that come to this one, the ratio of "old" cachers to "new" cachers is always in the favour of new cachers.

Good to catch up with some old and meet some new.

27-Feb-11
Well for my first event it was fun

Well, thank you to Aussie Cacher for organising this event. I arrived after 11am, with cachers, TB's, and sheets of paper everywhere. A few faces were recognized, and some new faces were put to names. Was great to be there in the hussle and bussle of Geocaching Big Grin We did a quick NEW steveishere cache in the secret garden, and then we broke off into groups to tackle some of the 18 NEW hides that AC had created, plus trying for a few tougher DNF's caches as well. Overall, a great day, and nice to meet many of you. Till No. 4 !!!

Forgot to log this one. We were on our way back from Newcastle and just made it before the end.

A last minute decision to attend this event for the second year in a row and I'm glad I did. It was good to catch up with some that I know and meet a few new cachers.

An excellent turnout, if only the weather had been a little more conducive to have a crack at the 18 caches released for the event. They will have to wait for yet another day.

Thanks AussieCacher for the event.

27-Feb-11
Thanks, had a great time with the music area there. Got to meet new people aswell. TFTC. Thanks for the event cache AussieCacher!!!

27-Feb-11
Enjoyable venue to put faces to names. Just sorry that my sister was otherwise occupied and couldn't attend.

27-Feb-11
Thanks for the event AussieCacher!

27-Feb-11
We attended this event and again met cachers like Webby (TeamWebguy), Team Canary, and other cachers as well. Had a good time and a good talk as well. Thanks for the event cache, AussieCacher! It was kind of strange that it was in a food court, but we could get some good lunches! TFTC

Due to a soccer trial game I got there a bit late but it was great to see other caches my age and dad and I were very pleased you enjoyed our new cache.
We ended up finding caches with Alfyboy and SuperSluthSonia and we also meet a nice couple from the Hunter Valley, Bob and Donna, they were fun and we were glad that we could show off our area.
It was a very busy afternoon of caching and what a great adventure but the said thing is that our cache (The Suckerishere as been stolen) Sad.
Thanks so much it was great to meet you Aussie and I really look forward to doing it all again next time.
Regards,
MattKwashere>

How good was that event? BLOODY GREAT. Good on ya Aussie for putting it on. We really enjoyed meeting the famous and infamous. It's good to put faces to names that you see in logs and online. We chatted to many at the event, and later went caching with a few locals and some experienced cachers. A good crew of cachers showed us the area and taught us a few tricks. (See our logs for names and places.) We even had a picnic lunch at STEVEISHERE'S home with ALFYBOY and the young ISHERE CREW. We loved the event. Thanks to everyone for making it such a fun day. A great community of cachers. See you out caching.

27-Feb-11
The event caches were submitted last night to be published.

27-Feb-11
Most of the caches have now been published.

Thanks for the good event and caches

27-Feb-11
Thanks Aussie. Our first Event attended! It was great to meet other cachers and hear experiences of others. A good turnout.

27-Feb-11
Another fun event in the food court of Rouse Hill, I was working here when they were building the whole complex putting a microwave antenna on the roof of the library. Good to catch up with friends old and new, and have a chat to a few people. Afterwards hit the new cache upstairs, before heading off with a few others and knocking over a couple of nemesis caches in the area and a couple of others. Thanks Aussiecacher, next time we just have to cordon off the playground with danger tape or something so we can hear ourselves think Twisted

27-Feb-11
Always great to meet new and old caching friends at these events. I was with Satanas 666, who although an old hand at caching, rarely, if ever, caches alone, and hasn't logged his finds for almost a year! .....

And to cap it off a heap of us went upstairs to nab a new cache. Afterwards some of us went off to hunt some old finds of mine nearby, sorry I wasn't much help guys...

27-Feb-11
What a great day !!
It was terrific to meet familiar and new faces around the "logs".
The amount of effort which went into this wasn't really evident until I hit the road, and boy, the new caches are scattered far and wide.
Great day indeed !!!
Thanks AussieCacher

Sorry we got to this so late. But it was still great to catch up with everyone!

27-Feb-11
Really enjoyed coming along to the event today, despite losing one of my treasured personal geocoins I got for christmas =( I can only hope that whoever picked it up is considerate + thoughtful enough to contact me once they see the message I've left on the trackable's page requesting its return!! Thanks very much AussieCacher for placing all those new caches. I was quite astonished you hid that many! In a good way of course ;p It was loads of fun meeting & driving round with other cachers to visit some of the harder micros in the area that have been giving a fair amount of bother for quite some time ('Who planted this cache', 'Where's the ammo can' etc). Discovering the 'secret garden' of rouse hill was also pretty neat =) Never would have known this was here if not for geocaching! Very satisfying event =)

Personally I like to give a special thank you to AussieCacher for again organizing a great get together, and a list of excellent caches to enjoy around the district. We had a fantastic time today catching up with familiar faces and meeting new cachers, before heading off with our list for an afternoon full of adventure and exploration. Off the list of 18 we completed 14 including 3-FTF’s and had 1 DNF, before we had to head for home, which means that we will soon be back for the other 3 and that DNF. Again thanks and looking forward to next year’s event. Big GrinBig GrinBig Grin.
