Trust your geo senses, not the GPS.Otherwise a great excuse to stop on the way to phantom falls
Nice easy drive by find. Though we came up the track beside the marysville camp. Fine this time of year but might be hairy for 2wd in winter. Log a bit damp. Tftc
Staying with family at Marysville I took time for a drive along this beautiful road to make this discovery. Logbook a little wet. Thanks for bringing me here Datruk
In town for a church men's retreat and on the way home I took a mate to show him what geocaching was all about. Great hide, glad I went with my gut and didn't follow the GPS on the last bit. A great hide. Thanks for placing GeoScouts.
Currently trying to finish the year with a streak and so heading out daily, for a cache. Plus their are a few other caches I need for challenges. Today we had a drive and the road was in excellent condition after being repaired recently. We had a small drive here yesterday and we both said.. that would be a good spot for a cache. Sure enough today with the caching app on.. we found it was indeed a good spot! Thanks to Datruk for the fun and the adventure.
Like description says. You should find it easily off the road. It's very obvious place. Don't trust GPS trust your cache instincts
TFTC. GPS local is on the wrong side of road.. leech warning! Legs were covered in them after bush bashing in wrong spot
GPS was playing up, the seekers started looking where they thought it would be and the little fellas were very excited to finally find it.
Haha! We searched high on the wrong side of the road. GPS jumping around so went with pin on map. Trickiest so far but fun to get into the bush off the track a bit. TFTC GeoScouts.
Off to see the falls but the roads were closed back home so we thought we'd nab this one on the way home. Thanks for the cache.
Found on a beautiful day hiking around Marysville with the Hooded Hooligans, we decided to take off up to Lady Talbot Road. Found this treasure safe and sound. TFTC GeoScouts
Came today with Shack1961 and went for a hike up to the falls. We then sat and had lunch at the park before trying to find some caches. All the signs said this trail was closed off, but after an hour we decided to give our luck a go and it was on our side! This cache had two of us on the other side of the track but I walked right up to it knowing where it just had to be!
Having some trouble until we read comments about it being on the other side of the road! And yes, tongs would be useful TFTC
Found by edmil & Maddie @12:51pm the road is nice and dry and we continue despite a sign saying road closed ahead. We will see how far we can go. Another easy find. TFTC
Found by G & C gps said it was on the wrong side of the road. Stay on the side where you would pull over.
On other side of road to what GPS Says it is! Found with lis, lotto, pat and Jayden
#1 of 6 for the day with DaD0n, ross47 and geoMum.
Going for our customary Fathers Day drive to Marysville, we decided to stop off and get some geocaches.
As ross47 had already found this one, he parked the car while I jumped out and made the quick find.
Lovely road and gorgeous area.

The GPS was initially pointing us on the other side of the road. The hint got us onto the right path and we soon got the cache in hand. TFTC
I really wanted it to be there. There was a nice stump, a challenging embankment that looked like others had climbed it before. It HAD to be there. So after a running jump, up I went and as I searched the stump thoroughly, ilukaperi announced that she had it......on the other side of the road.
As day1976 climbed the embankment, I looked on the side we had parked and found it straight away with bark covering it suspiciously.
Thanks for placing this series. Tassie expat and I came up from Gippsland to find them and explore this nice area.
Find #4096. Found @ 17:11 with The Good Lady Wife.
After being rained out at lunch, we came back here after the weather had cleared up a smidgeon. This one took ages to find, even after using the hint. There were lots of geotrails and places that could have concealed a container. I looked for a very long time and logged a DNF on my GPS before returning to the car, only to spot a likely location as I was about to get into the vehicle. It turns out that the coordinates are about 15m off and on the other side of the road.
Took nothing, left nothing, signed log and visited some trackables.
Thanks for the cache Datruk

Found while on a quick 3 day break in the area to visit family.

Girls always take the easy option boys always want to climb. Girls, we like our feet on the ground and look what I found
The signal sent me well away from the cache and AD25 found it instead of me! TFTC
Down from Queensland for a two weeks holiday and enjoying the spring flowers, rail trails and hiking spots in this beautiful part of the world. Additionally there is always some time left to pick up a few caches. We are in Marysville for the day to pick up some caches and visit the highlights of the area. Unfortunately the sign told us that the road would be closed further down the track. We thought we go for the drive and see how far it will take us. TFTC
I wish we had read the logs before attempting this one. We too were on the wrong side of the road and I got my first leech Then geo husband crossed the road and found the cache straight away. Thanks GeoScouts for the adventure but not so much the leech.
Took trackable

We got to Marysville yesterday afternoon and checked into our motel, which is a rare treat for us as we generally prefer to camp. We spent yesterday afternoon looking around town and went up Lake mountain. This left today free to do the Lady Talbot Trail and still have time to get home in the afternoon.
We had a ball following the track and doing the caches. The country is completely different here to what we are used to up in Albury, and some time along the way i managed to pick up my first ever leech
We followed the road all the way to the park to the falls and it was shut beyond this point, so that is where our day finished.

**Find #1775**
After spending the day at Lake Mountain with a 18km hike to Keppells Hut and back, and heading home with the remaining daylight, I couldn't resist grabbing a few of the Lady Talbot caches.
The Co-ords were way off here. I actually looked in the right spot first but, didn't look close enough. Forget the GPS here, and use your Geo-senses and the Hint by the C.O.
I must return another day and complete the rest of the series.
Thanks **Datruk**

Almost followed what previous searchers had done in the past, without thinking just follow the arrow up the embankment on the other side. But before stepping out of the car I double checked the terrain rating and sure enough made me think twice about where I was heading, and instead searched a more closer and obvious spot for the rating and found the cache.
