### **OWNER MAINTENANCE REQUIRED PLEASE** ###
----------
Hi there Datruk,
It looks like this cache might need some attention, as one or more seekers have indicated there is an issue. The cache has been temporarily disabled, so as to remove it from search listings and discourage people from visiting this location until the issues/s with this cache can be addressed.
**You do need to respond in some way within 14 days, so others know you are on top of it, as well as indicating exactly what is happening with this placement - please don't let a lack of communication scuttle this listing.**
#What should you do now:-#
You have a number of choices so pick the one that applies from this handy list:-
- **Check On The Cache:-** Visit the cache and repair and/or replace or do whatever else is needed, post an [**Owner Maintenance log**](http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=404) indicating the cache has been checked and [**ENABLE your cache**](https://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235 ). Then sit back and wait for the logs of praise to roll in.
- **Place A Write Note Log::-** Reviewers don't have a crystal ball, so without your note on the cache page explaining that the site works are on-going, or you have been in hospital, or the area is in flood, they can't tell what is going on with the cache.
So please just post a note to the page (within 14 days) and when a Reviewer next looks at the listing, all will be fine for a little bit longer.
**Be sure to indicate the actual date that you expect to have it fixed so that everyone knows you are on top of it. If you have a long term unavailable cache (where you don't have an actual date) please ensure you visit the page and post a note every 4 to 6 weeks, so as to keep everyone up to speed.**
- **Adopt/Archive:-** If you don't plan on fixing it then you could consider passing it on to another geocacher by asking them to [**Adopt it**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=54) or alternatively, you need to [**Archive it**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=56), so it is removed from searches and someone else can have the spot. Don't forget to remove any remnants of your previously enjoyed cache too.
You might wonder what happens if you don't pick one of those. Well, if nothing happens, then a few weeks from today, when a Reviewer next looks at the cache page, it is likely that they will, unfortunately, have to de-list (Archive) on the basis that it has been abandoned.
Honestly, I'd rather you decide so please do something before then. Please don't send me an email but instead follow the information/advice posted above.
**JUST A TIP:-** Have you checked out the new Geocaching Dash Board designed to assist a Cache Owner in managing the caches they own? Have a read about it [**HERE.**](https://www.geocaching.com/blog/2020/07/welcome-to-the-cache-owner-dashboard/?newsletter=PM) You will find your very own dash board [**HERE**](https://www.geocaching.com/play/owner?utm_source=geocaching&utm_medium=blog&utm_campaign=COD).
Thanks for your cooperation,

Think the number of storms may have pushed this cache away, owner might need to come have a look
Stuffitletsgoaroundaustralia staying in Marysville and exploring this area of Vic. Thanks for the hide
Found by edmil & Maddie @ 12:59 pm. Another quick find. I reckon it would have been nicer to ride and do the series rather than drive. So far have not come across the road closure yet.
Thanks for the cache.
Thanks for the cache.
Yep number five with Jimmytherat. Bump into a couple of trail riders in the process. Thanks GeoScouts.
Returned having not found it previously, clever daughter found it today. Thanks!
#3 of 6 for the day with DaD0n, ross47 and geoMum.
Going for our customary Fathers Day drive to Marysville, we decided to stop off and get some geocaches.
Parked the car and started following the phone gps back towards GZ. All 4 of us searching eventually resulted in ross47 finding the nicely hidden cache.
Lovely road and gorgeous area.

We spotted a likely option for a hiding spot from the car and quickly came up with the goods. TFTC
The boys (7yo & 4yo) fourth find and spotted its hiddy spot! Starting to love this game
Saw it from the road, a suspicious piece of wood covering it. On a roll today! (mostly)
Thanks for placing this series. Tassie expat and I came up from Gippsland to find them and explore this nice area.
Surprisingly, two vehicles can pass on this road. So squeezy. Enjoying just cruising along. TFTC
Find #4098. Found @ 17:33 with The Good Lady Wife.
After being rained out at lunch, we came back here after the weather had cleared up a smidgeon. Another one that the coordinates, satellites and geotrails had me looking in all the wrong places. The Good Lady Wife decided to get some extra steps and head on to the next on by foot. It wasn't until she returned because I was taking too long, that I spotted a more cache-like position for the cache to be... and it was. The coordinates were about 10m out for me today.
Took nothing, left nothing, signed log and visited some trackables.
Thanks for the cache Datruk

Sad that the riad is closed so we turned around hete and have left a trackable that we collected on norfolk island. Enjoy the journey
There’s nothing we like more than caches near rivers. We were in no hurry today and took every opportunity to soak in the beautiful surroundings. Thanks again GeoScouts
Have to say the thought of snakes and other creepy crawlings were definitely on the brain
With work done for the day now time too play and with maximus1978 and the little man we went for a cruise and come out to the beautiful part of the world
Thankyou co
Thankyou co
We got to Marysville yesterday afternoon and checked into our motel, which is a rare treat for us as we generally prefer to camp. We spent yesterday afternoon looking around town and went up Lake mountain. This left today free to do the Lady Talbot Trail and still have time to get home in the afternoon.
We had a ball following the track and doing the caches. The country is completely different here to what we are used to up in Albury, and some time along the way i managed to pick up my first ever leech
We followed the road all the way to the park to the falls and it was shut beyond this point, so that is where our day finished.

Love this area, must come back and look for more caches in the area. Road closed at Keppel Falls today. Thanks GeoScouts for the series.
**Find #1777**
After spending the day at Lake Mountain with a 18km hike to Keppells Hut and back, and heading home with the remaining daylight, I couldn't resist grabbing a few of the Lady Talbot caches. Grabbing #2 through to #6. The Co-ords are about 10m out. I read through previous logs and soon had the prize. My hint is, You don't need to go bush, The hide is in an obvious spot, near the side of the road. I must return another day and complete the rest of the series.
Thanks **Datruk**

#3056 After lunch in Marysville it was time to hit the Lady Tals Trail to enjoy the fresh air and try and pick up a swag of caches. Although the sign said 4WD only, the track was only rough is a couple of spots and no issue for the GeoForester.
Well this one thwarted our momentum. We were trying to turn this one into a terrain 3 by following our GPS. In the end we put the GPS down and found the cache in the obvious spot. Both our GPS's were indicating the coords about 10-12m out. TFTC GeoScouts.

On our way to the Buller Getaway caching weekend with wozzle68, we stayed in Marysville last night so that we could explore a bit more of this area, including the Lady Talbot Drive. A nice quick find here and a lovely little picnic ground. TFTC GeoScouts.
Found with Found with Chooknchunk while in the beautiful area. We planned to hit this series after spending the night at at caravan park on our way up to Mt Buller getaway . Chooknchunk
This is our fourth trip to the northern island this year. The first three were primarily for family events but with some opportunities to do some caching along the way. The fourth trip is different as caching is our focus. After getting off The Spirit of Tasmania we are heading north to cache at Wangaratta and then Yass before heading into the ACT and Queanbeyan for a week. After that we will travel to Jindabyne for a few days with summiting Mount Kosciuszko being our main target for this part of our trip. Then we will visit Cooma and Tumut before heading back down the track through Wangaratta and Mansfield as we make our way to Alexandra for the MEGA. After the weekend we will continue to make our way south and back onto the Spirit of Tasmania for the “drive” across Bass Strait. We are really looking forward to three weeks of intense caching in great areas and, hopefully, catching up with some geocachers in each of the areas we will visit.
We had a great time at the Alexandra Event catching up with many people, enjoying the activities, caching and touring the Alexandra and Eildon areas. We certainly have a much better appreciation of the attractions of the area than we had before we arrived. Today we headed south intending to cache our way through Marysville to Mansfield where we planned to stay the night. Although not a long trip, there were many places to investigate and we didn’t arrive until nearly tea time. It was also quite a hot day and that slowed our progress a little.
We were pleased to have the opportunity to visit Marysville some time after the devastating fires. Our first impressions were of a pretty area, with strong community pride in public areas and private dwellings. However a quick look below the surface showed the signs of the intensity of the bushfires that had swept through the area. There were very tall trees which were now single poles and grey standing well above the lush and vigorous regeneration occurring below. The ridges lines showed the scars of the fires. It must have been a horrible experience for residents and for those fighting the fires as the steep sided terrain gave little opportunity to fight the fires nor escape. We were amazed at how the local community had recovered but no doubt, there are many personal scars which are not that evident to visitors.
Our first caching area in Marysville was Lady Talbot Drive. We went to the published coordinates but didn't find anything. We widened of search area and finally found the cache about 14m from the published coordinates. There was no need to have climbed the bank. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks GeoScouts for the cache and for giving us a reason to visit the area.
***** We are currently writing detailed logs because of a challenge provided by Project-GC. "The Author" Badge challenges geocachers to average one hundred words or more in each log. On 1 September 2017 our average was 86 which seems close to the 100 target. However given that we have found so many GC caches, we have to write many logs with well over 100 words for a long period of time to get our average to the target. Apologies to anyone who finds the logs tedious but it is the only way that we can strive to attain this challenge. Well, after 616 caches (which includes all cache finds up and including yesterday), the average log length is just over 100.3. We have attained our goal, and got there much sooner than we had anticipated. We will continue with the extended logs until the end of the trip to give ourselves a little buffer so that it is very unlikely that we will fall below 100 words per cache average in the future*****

Sitting in Marysville having lunch I was trying to figure out if it was possible to close a 50-cache gap in two weeks to make The Alexandra Event #1000. Easy for some, but until today I was on a 50 day slump. Hmmm I need a power trail, of trads, on a road, and I need it now. Aha! This will do nicely.
Many caches on the trail need maintenance, mainly due to wet logs, and a couple of caches possibly missing. It would be nice to see this series be restored to its original glory. The landscape is fantastic.
Lots of cars on this road. LOTS of cars. And bikes. We more or less drove through a cloud of dust the whole trip!
We got a fair way in to the trail before the 4WD section started, and that just wasn't going to happen in my car.
Thanks GeoScouts for the series. Hopefully we'll be back soon to grab more caches in the area.

Great series of caches in a magnificent location, very interesting to see the way the area is regenerating and amazed at the damage still visible. Would have loved to complete this series but the gate is shut. TFTC Found while away for a relaxing weekend with Highcatt 3
Taking the scenic track home after the weekend in Melb. Had to expand the search as co-ords were a bit off, before making this find. Took geocoin.
Thanks Datruk for placing the cache for us to find.

Nice find. Beautiful day with no one around. We will have a look for a few more! Thanks
This was a lovely drive along the river and we decided to look for the available caches in the first 12 of the series. They were all found successfully. Some had really good co-ordinates but some were up to 13 metres off the mark. According to our GPS this one was way out. Had to resort to reading previous logs to get the right idea. Then it was found. All good with the cache and contents. TFTC.
Found with Geo Nerds while off on a trip to do the Lake Eildon Geo tour. What a great couple of days we all had. TFTC
Out for a fantastic caching weekend with some very special friends. This was one that we found on our travels. Many thanks to all the COs that helped make it a very happy caching trip.
Found with Zobo04, Hearse068, BorisB&Natasha and Bounty on our way to do the Lake Eildon Geo Tour. we were trying to do as many caches along the way so I could get in front of KTCvic, whom we would meet up with later. This is one of the caches we found along the way. Decided we would do this little trail. Cant remember ever being in the area but I can tell you I wont forget those white tree tops. They make for some good photos but can only imagine the horror that was felt on that day in February 2009. Thanks for showing us the area it was a real eye opener. TFTC
Log was stamped as Geo Nerds consisting of Gonefishen07,Borisb&Natasha, Hearse068, Zobo04, and myself Bounty Trackers.
Gonefishen came up with the plan of doing the Lake Eioldon Geo Tour before it was gone, so we all agreed, Lets get up there and do it.
KTCvic was straight on to booking a place that would sleep 10 people in Bonnie Doon for our 2 night stay.
Gonefishen Borisb&natasha and Hearse068 and myself all meet up in Pakenham so we could cache our way up while DeJaVu and KTCvic where coming up later as they had to work. BorisB&natasha gave the keys to the Prado as she wanted to be a lady of leisure and be chauffeured.
We laughed all the way and just had a fantastic weekend away with great friends, cant wait until the next adventure.
signed log thanks for the cache.

Here today with the family for some caching and bushwalking. The Taggerty River looks gorgeous. We had fun exploring. Great spot!
We arrived in Marysville late afternoon after doing some caches in the Healesville/Warburton area. Our main aim is to get what caches we can along Lady Talbot Drive.
We were soon to find that the road is closed after the half way point, which was a bit disappointing, having came so far.
All caches to that closure point were found, even though variations in coordinates of 3XGPS still didn't put us straight on GZ.
Thanks Datruk for this placement.
