I reckon this is gone. Previous logs indicate it was an obvious hide, but as with the previous cachers, I couldn't find it anywhere.
After having an extremely hard look around the area, Cherad, muggle Pa, the kids and I weren't able to locate the cache. We are hoping that our desire not to look too suspicious to muggles enjoying the sunshine as much as we were and the gps jumping all over was the only reason this cache could not be found.
This area is certainly beautiful and a great place to visit, thanks for the cache

Out with Mi5sie on a lovely day, unfortunately we were unable to change this into a smile, geokids helped to search, but this one has eluded us for now, but we will return to try again, thanks for bringing us to this area, have never been here before,
Out caching with 6hinemoa2 after todays events. Enjoyed the short walk in this great little area. Ballarat is so lucky to have so many walking tracks. Thanks for showing us this nice area BroNicKids
Thanks for the cache, decided to explore on our return trip from the grampians
A nice walk and a quick find in the dark after doing the nearby night cache.

Close by so a group decided to get this one.
It has been in my PQ list for so long so I was more than happy to get it. My GPS batteries died as we approached GZ so I relied on a friends phone. It was dark and we were searching in the slightly wrong spot until someone looked up and said that looks like good spot. Sure enough it was and all names were entered.

After finding a relatively close way to access the path, I set off along this lovely little winding track.
This is a great little location and the container was hidden in a nice logical spot, making for an all round fun experience.
Thanks to BroNick and Luxeyes for placing this cache.

Found with The 2 Wanderers on a caching day in Ballarat. Geocaching has done it again! Brought me to a beautiful place that I didn't know about. TFTC
Found today while out caching with Misschief18 around all the back streets we didn't know existed. We found our way into this one and had a leisurely walk into a nice little spot. A very popular walk way and very friendly people. No sign of a TB in cache

Out for a spot of exploring this afternoon with my 5 year old geokid. We also picked up another 5 year old to show him how to go on adventures and find treasure! Easy find but no sign of TB. Thanks for the hide. Kids made some swaps
Very late logging. We had headed this way for a bit of R&R (=caching) and catch up with a friend.
Noticed the event very near our accommodation, and continued caching from there.

Today we cached with Tassie Trekkers around Ballarat on a lovely autumn day. A nice walking track. TFTC
A nice quick find early this morning. Co-ords were spot on. Lots of good swaps. Caching with Tomstache. Thanks for the hide.
Thanks for the cache. Cool swaps. Quick find after we took the long bumpy way to the cache.
Our 400th geocache - very nice walking rack - signed log left penny - TFTC
Nice spot haven't been here before, the Geo mutt enjoyed all the new smells. Cache found OK? Will return and have a picnic when warmer. TFTH
As we pulled into the car park near GZ, it was raining lightly, so we went for it. By the time we arrived at GZ it was raining heavily!!!!Ack! We signed the log, dropped a trackable and made a dash for the car. We were soaked by the time we got there.
Out caching with the Glanville Girls and geo mutt, getting a bit wet now, found the cache after a little search and signed the log.
Petite sortie d'après-midi aujourd'hui, il fait beau alors j'en profite
La balade continue avec cette petite cache pas de soucis je trouve vite aussi. j'aurai croisé beaucoup de lapin hihi

In Ballarat with Team Crackers to attend the Coffee Event and to pick up some of the local caches.

After having a very enjoyable time at the Coffee and Caching event and having another great lunch at the Beechworth Bakery we headed off with The Coffee's to pick up some local cache before heading back home. We parked and headed off along the track to gz and although the sun was going down and the temperature was dropping rapidly it was still a peaceful little walk beside the creek. Once near gz we had a slight scramble for the last bit before we could add our names to the log.
Thanks once more for the cache.

Easy find with Paulette the converted muggle!
Dropped off a trackable but did not have time to log it before someone grabbed it. I must remember to be quicker next time.

While approaching the cache, I encountered the same muggle that went past me at an earlier Yarowee River cache. If he was surprised to see me again he did not show it. TFTC
I navigated the geomobile as close as possible and set off on foot. A great little trail, I have never explored along here before, Thanks BroNicKids
This was one of many of the caches we have found on our journey north as we follow in the footsteps of our ancestors as they made their way from Geelong to Yackandanda.
We will be walking the goldfields tracks and trails on a journey from Geelong to Yackandanda that we estimate will take us 7 years to complete.
Our journey continues...

Lovely little walking track, this. We quite enjoyed our little stroll. Almost got interrupted by muggles, but speed signed the log and got it back before they came around the corner. Although I'm sure they got a fright by us emerging from the bush... ok that sounds dodgier that it really was. Thanks for the cache.
Our quest today was to do four caches to notch up 100, a nice way to start the day and a lovely stroll in the ballarat winter sun, lovely little waterfalls along the way.
Well what a nice spot here I was just about to get the cache when some muggle said morning!! After getting back into my skin I got the log and sign it with one eye on the track TFTC
TFTC. Ridden past this one for years. Great day to take the geokids for a walk. Great spot.
Day 3 and final day of our Ballarat Smackdown weekend with DazRascal, Blacklegend, Quasar3671 & Trailrunning which seen us collecting a great range of caches over 3 days, and this was one of them.
Officially our last cache of our Ballarat Smackdown trip!
Took some seriously wrong tracks to get to this cache, and took a bit of backtracking before fidning the right spot!
Glad to have signed the log on this one.
Many thanks for the hide. TNLN SL Cheers!

One of 182 caches I personally found during our "Ballarat Smackdown" trip. The trip included teams Quasar3671, Trailrunning, Haveanez, Dazrascal and myself. Caches included around 30 mystery caches, a few earth caches, lots of trads and multis and both day and night caching. Some 4WD action was encountered as well, which was great. All puzzles within 60kms were solved.
I took three of my kids, Jasmine 7yo, James and Jemma 5yo twins, traveling from Tocumwal. The trip covered 3 days and two nights, staying in Ballarat. Quasar3671 took his two boys as did Haveanez. One of the best caching trips I have been on, and certainly lots and lots of finds, almost clearing out the main Ballarat area. Home base was the Miners Retreat motel, which was quite pleasant and quiet.
This was a find on our Sunday day run, which was only a half day run. Very nice river walk to GZ after some adventure on some bush tracks trying to get to this one. We had been a fair way away in an area coming in a very wrong direction from another cache. Had to retreat and travel a long way around before finding the obvious spot to enter this one. TFTC. Pic uploaded.

One of 184 cache finds during our "Ballarat Smackdown" weekend of caching on the 23rd to 25th. There were 13 of us including Blacklegend and three of his kids, Trailrunning, Haveanez and their two boys, Dazrascal and myself amd my two boys Tyler and Cooper. We'd spent a few weeks planning the trip, with every Ballarat Puzzle solved in the area, cache lists and road and route maps all ready to go. We stayed in the Miners Retreat Motel for the two nights and the accomodation and facilities were great. Our goal was simple - find as many caches as possible in the time we were here !
We found a great variety of caches and hides during the three days, which also involved a bit of walking and some 4WD fun as well in the state forests north of Ballarat. The weather was quite cold of the Friday and Saturday morning but eventually cleared to nice sunny weather Saturday arvo and Sunday. We all had a great time, especially the kids who did really well to keep up with the pace we were moving.
Our third day of caching and it was another big day ahead of us before splitting up early in the afternoon. With some four wheel driving, some essential caches to collect and getting 'lost' in the bush and some tricky caches found, the day turned out to be quite an adventure. With cars loaded with the gear and kids, we checked out of the accommodation and hit the road.
We ended up approaching GZ from the completley wrong direction and got to within 200m of GZ before realising this. A great big backtrack and loop around and we were soon in the right spot and had a much easier approach to the cache. Found and log signed. TFTC.

We were up to cache 132 at the conclusion of the Saturday of the “Ballarat Cache Smackdown”. Having arrived here on Friday night we had gone hard all weekend. It didn’t stop last night with a few juices being drunk before going to bed. The after effects of this were that we are all a little slow in starting up today. Having packed the cars and checking out of our home base we started our Sunday run with a few caches we missed the night before (the kids really did need to go to bed). The highlight of my morning was straining my left calf muscle running up a 4WD track. That sort of slowed me down for the rest of the day. We had a few must do caches today before splitting up and heading home. This was one of them. Find #145 for the “Smackdown” weekend. We drove close to GZ on this one and walked in about 90 metres for the find. Thanks.
Suscoe journeyed in here today, greeted by the local dogs as well arrived.
A short walk and the cache was found.
Signed the log and on our way.
Thanks to Bronick for this cache.

After being in Ballarat two weeks ago it was back today with the suscoe team to add a few more smiley's to my tally. Our aim was to find a few mysteries and others as we passed by.
On arrival we were greeted by the local four legged furry kind but thankfully they were very friendly. After checking us out they wandered off home. A short walk to the GZ area where the cache was soon found and signed and we were off to the next. thanks to BroNick for showing us this great area.

Found with bogonghazy on a quick dash to pick up No.900, and for him to mark today off his calender. Have never journeyed to the end of this road before, and had no idea this creek was even here. A nice quick easy pickup. TNLN. Thanks for bringing us here BroNick, a pleasant spot to remember my 900th find.
Found this one on this beautiful walking track with my good mate Sully1. It was her 900th cache find and it showed, as she found the easy track up while I did the more difficult rock scramble. Thanks BroNick for showing us this great little spot.
Found on a bushwalk with the Bushrangers Womens Walking club. Quick and easy find just off the path. TNLN TFTC
Found while out walking after work. Pleasant stroll along the creek and an easy climb over a few rocks. TFTC
