###Cache Maintenance Visit Required please.###
This geocache has been brought to my attention as being in need of an Owner Maintenance visit, as the logs indicate that it is most likely missing, or else some other problem exists with the cache. See the [GCHQ Health Score](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=713) process.
I agree that it certainly seems necessary to have it checked by the Cache Owner.
The cache owner needs to:
* Take action to restore the cache or address any issues such as correcting the D/T rating.
* Re-enable the cache by posting an Enable log
* Post an Owner Maintenance log to advise what has been done, and to clear any Needs Maintenance attribute which is present.
Otherwise :
* Post a Note Log to request more time if necessary, or provide other information..
**Do not use an Owner Maintenance log for this, that is for use only **when you actually do something to repair the cache**.
Alternatively:
* Archive the cache, and remove any remaining geo-litter from the site.
In the meantime, I've temporarily disabled the cache page to await owner action by %CO% and to take it off the playing board to prevent further geocaching community inconvenience.
[Please see the maintenance section of the Geocache Hiding Guidelines.](https://www.geocaching.com/play/guidelines?expand=1#cachemaintenance)
**I will check back in 30 days** to see that action has been by the CO.
If nothing has happened, I will assume that the cache has been abandoned and, unfortunately, I will need to Archive this cache.
*Caches archived because of lack of maintenance/abandonment will not be unarchived.*
The Geocaching Community needs to have a degree of certainty that a cache is there, and in good condition, waiting to be found, and the CO has a responsibility to maintain their caches.
Please see [my profile page](https://www.geocaching.com/p/default.aspx?u=Balayang) for additional information.
Thank you

No luck for us before the storms either, had a decent look but it was too good for us
A nice easy walk up to the view point. Then a quick sneak in to get this one. All good with the cache. Thanks for placing.
Find No: 8463. Visiting from Newcastle with shaneo58, stayed at Forster overnight, thanks for the cache HarbiFinders!!
Found it with Grub Fred on our way back from Forster. TFTC HarbiFinders and the views.
Nice walk up to the the lookout and made a quick find, all is well.

I dropped off the family at Bluey Beach and popped over to find this one. The cache was found fairly quickly. The views from here were spectacular today. TFTC!

We missed out when we visited in December 2018. Back in the area today and the view is just a good and not a muggle in sight. The surf looks treacherous along Boomerang Beach. We hopped into the bush and recognised the camouflage right away. No log in the box so we added one. Thanks for getting us back here. SL TFTC Cheers… Gaztek

This geocache was brought to my attention as being in need of an owner maintenance visit. The cache owner needs to check on this cache ASAP and either replace it or archive it, after picking up any geo-litter. See the [maintenance section of the Geocache Listing Requirements/Guidelines](http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#listingmaintenance).
I've added this cache to my watchlist, and I will check back in four weeks to be sure that the maintenance has been done. In the meantime, I have temporarily disabled this listing. When the maintenance is completed, the owner can enable the listing by clicking on the link below the cache name to return it to active status.
Whatever your intentions, please **post a note** here on the cache page (not email) to let us know that you are still active and maintaining the cache.
If you plan on repairing this cache, please log a note to the cache (not email) within the next 30 days so I don't archive the listing for non-communication.

We could not find the geocache. A local showed us where it was and it isn’t there anymore.
Disappointed I’ll just have to come back another day to try again. Great view thankfully!
No response to Needs Maintenance post of 23/10/20.
Another cacher, not the CO, replaced cache container on 17/1/21.
Log from 26/5/21 indicates log is wet; log from 5/7/21 says cache has been 'washed out by the rain'.
No response from CO.
This is a good location - it is time to retire this cache and let someone else with the time to maintain it place a new one there.

Found but the cash has all been washed out by the rain. Needs some maintenance.
Found with tikitere. Great spot for a cache. TFTC
Cache is very damp and log is wet.

Headed out to boomerang beach at pacific palms this morning with Lana dog then onto sandbar and Celito.
Find 268 for the tribe.
This one was on my trip south today and I couldn't resist the urge to stop and eat my lunch here and look for the cache. Parked at the end of the cul de sac and made my way up the short hill to GZ.
It may have been a 1.0/1.0 in the past but it's probably a bit trickier than that now. The hint is right though and eventually I found the replacement cache which is im good condition and could sign the log.
Stunning views. Would have been worth the walk even without the cache. Thanks for bringing me here. Very Bootiful!

Out for a drive for the day while holidaying further up the coast. We would have only enjoyed the view from the top because of this cache, otherwise we wouldn't have known it was here. We enjoyed the walk to GZ and hubby made a quick find.
Thanks HarbiFinders for placing the cache and doing the maintenance, so we can enjoy the find.

Awesome views and nice walk to GZ cache was soon found
Thanks for the cache
Thanks for the cache
The beautiful views worth it alone! Thanks for showing us a new path to walk in this area
Up in Forster for the weekend on a girls soccer trip, decided to head up early to make a day of the trip up and of course, find some caches along the way. Found it straight away just lying on the ground so I returned it in a more hidden spot, forgot my pen so took a photo of the ball inside. TFTC
Came here after having a lovely pull pork from the cafe down bellow. Good job we came up with the car!!!! Lovely place TFTC
These holidays we stayed up in Boomerang Beach and really enjoyed the views around the coast. While up here I noticed this cache was nearby, but also seemed to be needing maintenance. Since someone had recently replaced a cache I own overseas that I can’t access, I decided to pay it forward by helping this one out too.
Hiked up from the beach around the road and found the trail head. From there it was a short climb to GZ. I searched around for a bit and there was no evidence of a cache being here. I messaged CO to see where the original placement was and then installed a replacement container at the same location. It is now a small jar containing a log and swag. Be careful when replacing the cache as you may knock the local “camo” that is holding it in place. Please fix it if you disturb it.
The views from this lookout are incredible. I decided to go off the path and follow a side trail which took me to even more breathtaking lookout points. I totally recommend it. Thanks for bringing me here, I didn’t know the lookout existed.

We found it, couldn’t write in it, needs maintenance. Log book is ruined and there is no container to place it in. Good view though!
Several sets of eyes and not a lot of hiding spots to match the hint at GZ and still no luck.
A beautiful location. Not a T1, however, because of the steps. Cache is still in place and signable, despite smashed container. Careful replacement of cache and lid will help keep log dry until CO can fix.
The cache is still there, but the container has broken and its base is completely gone. This has obviously had a significant effect on its ability to withstand the weather. The log was dry when I visited but clearly had been quite wet. I think the cache may have been moved to a more sheltered location that is helping to keep it out of the rain a bit - although the hint is still correct.
The geocache container has been smashed and the contents are ruined from the rain. Needs replacement
After a quite odd year, Hawko2017 and I decided a road trip to Byron Bay for a mates birthday bash would be a nice break. And if we could find a few caches on the way, that would just be gravy.
End cut & paste;
Well we had an inauspicious start to the caching part of the trip.
Looking at the map well ahead, this seemed to be an excellent spot to stop.
Despite the continued drizzle, we made our way up the track, eventually making it all the way to the GZ.
We searched for some time before we found it, such as it was.
My, my this one needs maintenance, it’s completely stuffed.
Tftc.

First morning on our extended trip up the coast. After breakfast at the cute village of Bluey's Beach, we headed for the nearest geocache. The walk was well worth the incredible view. But we didn't find any geocache.
Couldn't find anything to log but what a spectacular view! Thanks for bringing us here.
Hi Everyone, looks like the cache has been muggled. Will replace it next week, in the meantime enjoy the view!
No luck looked all under and around the platform. Amazing view none the less.
found a chewbacca in milk bottle - no log - unsure if this was a new cache to replace the old one - beautiful spot well worth the walk
