Hi all,
Unfortunately the Trolls Fortress has been lost again. The area appears to be too vulnerable to muggles and for this reason it has been archived.
Sorry for any inconvenience

Looked around for quite a while with my ratbags. Decided to concede defeat, see if anyone else finds it after us and try again another day.
No trolls were harmed in the finding of this cache.
Almost where I thought it would be!

Great to see everyone using these parks to stay fit and healthy. Great hide, had me stumped.
Yep yep we found it ... we put a peace of paper ... sorry we didn't have a log book !!
it was full of dirt and had no log book. only thing left was the container and a party whistle. owner might need to check it.
Found log book on ground soaked in rain looks like cache may have been tampered with
Thanks for the hint. We could see the cache but had to wait for joggers, dog walkers and cyclists to pass before we were able to retrieve and sign the log. TFTC
Although our GPS units were slow to settle in this location, a gradual widening of the search area led to discovery of the cache. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks for the cache jaydensfamily.
Can past here on our bike ride today and we didn't have any luck with this one. Next time!
Not the fortress we first thought thankfully. Now we know why the birdlife here look so healthy, they have a human looking out for them. It was an all in feast near this cache. TFTC jaydensfamily.
Took a bit of searching as missed on our first walkby.
Was abvout to give up when we went back and looked from the correct side.

Stay away from the edge of the river, the reeds hide the edge and its a quick trip into the river if you overstep it, after searching many places we thought we were beaten on this one, looked just about everywhere (except where the cache was) we were just about to call it an earthlight spots the cache.....how did i miss that grrrrr. TFTC
Full marks to the people who created this lovely walk/cycle way and to all the geocachers who had hidden caches to make the trip even more interesting. t4tc
I ventured further than I needed to until I read the hint then it all became clesr. Thsnks for the lunchtime outing.
I seem to be having trouble today. This is another try at giving this Cache a favourite point.
Signed the log today with a pen I couldn't leave as it didn't fit. I should have been better organized.
Spent a while on the bridge watching a pelican checking the reeds. It was magic and the pelican wins a favourite cache for this site.
Thanks again Jaydensfamily

It would have been to easier find BFE Style without the GPS.
Thanks to jaydensfamily for the cache.

Was down this way this morning on my way to work picking up another close by cache and thought I would grab this one too.
As luck would have it I came in from the right direction and spied the cache straight away. Retrieved cache, signed log and replaced in its hidey hole and was soon on my way to work. Thanks for the cache jaydensfamily.

A very peaceful plave. Took awhile to find the cache but found eventually. TFTC
Moneydork twisted words. What he meant was he brought a broad along to find the cache for him. I got to take the dive into the spiderweb infested area and eventually grabbed the cache. Thanks jaydensfamily.
Muggles seemed to pass at frustrating intervals, but I got it in the end. Thanks!
The coords were significantly off. found with some help from a junior calumpher.
