Geo kid was too quick for me. Sighted and grabbed before I had even gotten close. We popped another log in as it was full.
#19315 - 12:58:00 PM; Day five of "The Great Leap Forward" road trip and it is time to head for home after a successful mission to South Australia. The day started with an event, where I delivered feathertop, who had accompanied me from Kaniva a couple of days ago, into the custody of GemmaSistema for the trip home. After the event, I headed north into Salisbury and on to Tea Tree Gully collecting a couple of caches in each as I passed through, then I set sail for Tailem Bend and on to KingstonSE, Robe, Millicent and Mt Gambier collecting some more caches, including this one. I then crossed into Victoria collecting caches in Dartmoor, Heywood and Tyrendarra before heading on to Port Fairy for tea and Warnambool to spend the night. All up I added eight more LGAs to the collection today! All caches were found in good order and where appropriate, were returned as found once the log was signed. Apologies for the largely generic logs TFTC Vulturistic

TFTC Vulturistic for your cache Lo Coo Ron that we found today.
Today was a travelling day as we made our way to Tailem Bend From Kingston SE. Not to many on the route as it is a little difficult to park 14 metres of motorhome and toad on the side of some of these roads. Rest areas are our preferred on a travel day. Still managed to grab 7 caches before reaching Tailem Bend.
Find count : 15723

Toilet stop for people by the smell and paper. Why? Leave the Aussie bush alone.
Nevertheless found the cache. Thank you for putting it out for us to find travelling the Coorang.

Was careful not to damage any undergrowth, we found the cache OK. The recent rains will hopefully make it a spectacular spring. Thanks Vulturistic.
Despite parking next to it, still took me a minute to find. TFTC Vulturistic.

On the hunting trail again with SeasonedBird. I’ll leave the more interesting detailed log to Mrs Geo (aka: SeasonedBird, Salty Chook, the Old Boiler, Old Chook, Dirty Bird or Angry Bird) because she writes so much more eloquently than I and usually has much more time to do so while I’m driving. It’s a great day for caching. TFTC Vulturistic

Day One of my first mega experience. Today I make the drive from Gumeracha to Millicent picking up a few valuable caches along the way. The weather is grey and drizzly but not too cold, and at least I’m not out in the storm that blitzed through yesterday.
Second Vulturistic cache, also a quick find in the fading light. Thanks for placing and breaking the drive; I always find the stretch between Meningie and Kingston SE hard going.

Took some finding. GPS wasn't working due to lack of phone service.
Spent a long time looking at the wrong tree.
Coming in from road side was easier. Fence line trees overgrown.

So we did it, we took the plunge and early last year made arrangements to sell our little hobby farm in South Gippsland and ‘do a big lap’.
No full lap is complete without a lap of the little island first.
So after tidying up our affairs and putting everything into storage, we celebrated Christmas with our families and hit the road.
We recently spent 7 magnificent weeks in beautiful Tasmania, then we just did a quick trip down the west coast of boring old Victoria, making our way to South Australia, crossing the border before Covid strikes again.
Looking forward to slowing things down as we spend time in SA with no return date planned.
Thanks for being one of the CO’s who supplied us with a cache to do on the way.
This one was most enjoyable.
This weekend, I headed to the limestone coast / south-east for cave diving. On Friday night, I drove via the Coorong rode via Kingston, Beachport, and Millicent to Glencoe. Saturday was spent cave diving near Tantanoola and Engelbrecht Cave in Mount Gambier, and then Sunday after a cave dive, I returned to Adelaide via Mount Gambier, and the wine bottle/glass geoart in Kalangadoo. I was expecting a nice weekend of sunny weather, but instead, there was wind and rain for the most part.
Today, I travelled from Adelaide to Glencoe, and made stops in Meningie, along the Coorong, Kingston, Beachport, and Rendelsham. A really nice sunny evening, and subsequently arrived very late at my destination.
A quick stop at this dedicated rest area today. This cache didn't take long to find once I worked out the best access, and the cache container and logbook were in good shape. There wasn't much logbook left here, so a new replacement logbook is probably required soon. Thanks Vulturistic for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

A nice crispy morning on day 5 with a big day ahead. Today we finished a long long trail and then made our way from Meningie to Millicent. Thanks to all CO's for places these great caches.

Used the listing instructions for approaching the cache but had no luck and an impatient doggy trying to give me a hurry up. I think I choose the wrong tree gap. Ended up approaching from the road. Tftc
