Out with the kids since they had a pupil free school day. Constantly raining but they wanted to go caching anyway. Same problem, only found a magnet. TFTC.

Seems only magnet is left no container or log.

Looked for a good while with no luck, but logging a find because I found the cache-magnet in the spot matching the hint.

Found it, but the magnet has come unstuck from the container. I've managed to replace it for now, but needs maintenance. Thank you

Today I had one aim - to reach #2000, I just needed six caches. I met my parents for morning tea at Kuranga Nursery Cafe, the Paperbark Cafe, then headed out to complete my mission.

I found this cache today..... Sort of. The Magnet was all that was left of this one, I have replaced it with an Eclipse Mint tin until the owner has time to replace it, I am not sure how long it will last, as the magnet is not that strong.

My first time in this park and a good opportunity to find this cache with drjim7 and essieg. Although magnet is loose it still worked ok and we had no problem replacing the container. TFTC.

May need a dob of glue to hold the magnet on. It fell off a couple of times. I had nothing to fix it with.

This was our first micro so the kids had to work hard to fiind it. Thank you.

Found with ggkof whilst out caching for the evening. There were a few muggles hanging around but they eventually moved on and cache was nabbed.

No one at the GZ although there were muggles close by. Grabbed the cache sight unseen thanks to the good clue - I love doing that!

Found at 11:45am with my Geosister who happens to live about 5 houses away. Spent many hours in this park when we were growing up. 30 odd years ago it was just farmland with a dam and lots of snakes at GZ! Signed log. Thanks for the cache team coxy.

Had attempted this one some time ago and recall that there was too many muggles around to attempt a search. As today was raining and was in the area, knew I was in with a chance. The place was deserted and after about 1min the cache was in hand, yay!!. TFTC team coxy

Found on a afternoon caching with Burge. Cricket match was in progress when we arrived but we decided to give it a shot. Luckily no one was sitting nearby and we were able to grab the cache easily. TFTC.

Nice park, nice hide. Found on a run with gozanators and mungo2000. Walked to the other side of the park and relised how long the park is. Nice hide and thanks for the cache.

Picking the right moment wasn't good enough I had to wait for muggles in the car park to leave as GZ is in plan view of everyone.

Found with Irontoad on a successful caching day. We had to avoid a muggle with a remote controlled helicopter near the cache. Irontoad was a bit worried that it might land on his head! Nice easy find once I looked again where Irontoad had looked!

Found on an afternoon caching run with my local father-in-law one-eyed.
There were canoodling teen muggles right a GZ. But they left as we approached - so were able to make the simple find no problem.

Once she moved on we took our spots like interested spectators looking out on a vacant oval and made the find.

We found this cache at 10:45am as the 1st of 17 on our Circuit de Southland. A quick stop off for this one. I had to quickly go back to retreive something from the car but by the time I had caught up with the others at GZ, "H" already had the cache in hand. Thanks from D, HA, H & A B-A.

Night caching with dunko and slink1. I'm only logging this dnf because it helps with my story. When we got here, there was a couple who had somehow gotten their lips stuck together - all of us got a surprise. We retreated with "Er... um... sorry".

Back here again after an evening's caching with slink1 and dunko. No problems this time! Thanks for the cache.

As I approached GZ there was the sound of kids playing and for a short while I thought that they were actually there! They weren't and the cache was a quick find. Thanks team_coxy.

We grew up in this area so knew of this reserve but haven't visited for quite awhile. There was nobody around which made searching for the cache quite easy and it was found in the second place we checked

Found while on the way back from Springvale. Only muggle was the poor guy slowly mowing the cricket pitch in 35 plus degree heat and 50 plus kph winds. Parked and walked over to GZ and enjoyed the shade while I signed the log. Thanks team_coxy.

When I looked at this cache on the map and zoomed in, I couldn't imagine where it could be hidden. I guess Google Maps is not quite up-to-date.

FTF - (5th not 1st)

Covert and I were chasing FTF's at Marysville when this one popped up so we hadn't held our hopes too high, great to see that there were 4 other crazies ahead of us in the race.. we were 2 for 6 today.. but the night is still young.. Thanks Team Coxy, Find#876 (54321 blast off)... the game was still in play so we sat and watched for 20mins chatting and hoping to meet some other cachers, however we were clearly too far off the money..

We were right by this one 45mins before it was published and in the meantime we had gone home.
Just as we arrived home, we received the notification that it was published so we turned around and went back again, we arrived at the carpark near GZ and got out of the car and noticed two gentlemen at what appeared to be GZ, looking for something, when we got there Daryllm123 was signing the log followed by Earthbound Chief then us, we were sitting around having a chat and watching some cricket when Zippi_Russ arrived to join the party.
It was great to meet the faces behind the the names that we knew.

We saw the notification about half an hour after it was published, so we didn't have great hopes for a FTF, but we headed down anyway. We thought we wouldn't be able to do this one because there were a number of people sitting at GZ, but luckily they were fellow cachers. A nice cache spot, and it was good to meet a few new people. Joint FTF with Earthbound chief, while waiting for muggles to leave decided on a joint effort, just in front of stemicmister and zippi rus, good to meet some other cachers and have a chat, TFTC Team coxy my 3rd FTF and 250th cache

*FTF* jointly with daryllm123 after a mini event was eventually held here watching the cricket. Joint find with daryllm123 who I approached as he walked up. I'd been waiting for a young couple to leave as they were sitting on top of GZ. Eventually they moved and we pounced with daryllm123 making the quick grab.
We were soon joined by stemicsar and zippi rus, both groups just being pipped
It was great to sit back, shooting the breeze and watching the cricket
