No luck here today, we are on a mission to find DNFs found what we thought would be a nice little hidey hole for this cache but alas there was noone home.
Was wandering around the area briefly while my van was undergoing repairs nearby, and had time to quickly grab this cache. Also came across a guy who was on his way walking from Cape Reinga to Wellington. Impressive! Tftc
Caching and teaching at the same time. Out with a couple of friends after the course. TFTC//
Thanks, signed the log and took some pics but won't post them here because of spoilers found easily but I would not recommend this cache for those with children as it is hidden by a busy 80km/h road that would not be easy or appropriate to stop on due to the proximity to the bend in the road.
A quick find as we drove past. Nice spot and good sized container. Thanks MarMis
While I was on the wrong side of the road I get a geowife call of " here it is ".
Time for another wander round while my wife stays with some friends. I was a little lonely today but still managed a good haul which included this little cache. Found quickly thanks to good Geo awareness and a straight forward placement. Cheers & TFTC
coords had me middle of the road but with a bit of geosense the cache was quickly found, tftc
Easy find on the other side of the road. Signed log. All dry and in good condition. TFTC!
Happened to be in the area with Merlot58 and Jag50 so made sure to stop by here. Initially thought this was on one side of the road, but eventually located it on the other, where it was quickly spotted.
Attended geocaching Event in Papakura this morning and decided to stay in the area to find a few local caches it was one of them.
Landed on the other side of the road first ...

This is the third day in a row of caching for the Hidden Creatures challenge and it is starting to get strenuous... But one does what one can in order to win tiny little virtual rewards... This one was a nice and easy find. Thankyou!
Hidden creatures challenge... ACCEPTED. Found together with Greenkiwikids and Pyphant and signed as team Piraten. TFTC
We found this one today whilst our learning about Geocaching with our Guide unit . . . . .
Dear Cache Owners,
I am a German guy who stays in New Zealand for eight months.
My English is not perfect, so please don't wonder if my log entries sound a bit strange. Thanks!

After dropping off my host kid in School I used the beautiful weather to make a Little Geocaching trip in Papakura.
Last one for today. A new logbook might be a good idea.
Thanks for hiding!

Paper is very old and falling apart so if your looking for this cache maybe bring a new notebook
A nice n easy cache and dash on my way home. The locals have an interesting style of dress, I wonder if it fits some kind of dress code?

Nice for there to be a memorial for a well-loved puss. It's amazing how deeply these four legged creadures sear themselves into our lives and how long we continue to miss them when they are gone. Picked up this cache when heading back up to Auckland on Easter Sunday. TFTC
Decided to make the most of the sunny afternoon and cycle down this way for a few caches. This one was a quick find, the log was dry and all intact. Quite a few cars passing along the road today but no muggles. TFTC
Trying to focus on my dot days this year and noted I needed a cache today, so whilst I was in Drury doing some cache maintenance decided this was the one for today....Noted that many people stated the GPS had them on the wrong side of the road so with that in mind started my search...and yip the find was swift and on the other side of the road.

Not too many places to park here so pulled to the side of a shared driveway. The GPS had me on the wrong side of the road so scratched my head for a few minutes. Much easier to find once I tried the other. TFTC.
On our way to adventure race & had a bit of time to spare. Quickly spotted. TFTC.
2349 Parked down the road a bit and walked back. Originally looked on the wrong side of the road but on checking my GPS I saw the error of my ways.
And I figured there is a school here as well. I hadn't read the complete description so it took a little while to decide where I should focus my efforts. Got there in the end. TFTC .
We're having a third caching day in this area, having come up from Hamilton for the weekend several weeks ago. At present we are trying to build up our numbers to catch up to our caching buddies so we can celebrate our 3,000th find together, as we did our 2,000th last year. Our aim today is to just get into the 2,900s, this is our 2,868th.
This was our first find of the day. We passed it and had to turn around, but it was a quick find once we were out of the car. More snails than worms here today.
I've just been distracted by looking up the church website. Mmmm.

Found ... quick drive by, park & grab, as I needed a cache to fill in another day on my calendar ... the area was very quiet & I had no issues ... easily found & quickly replaced ... TN:LN:SL ... TFTC ... #1,328 for us.
Went for a little walk after preschool and find it! Master 4 left a little surprise for the next one! This was our first, so fun, thanks for the hide!
Co ords out. Is on other side if road. On a 3 day road trip from Hawkes bay to Auckland and back. Great few days to grab a number of caches. Tftc
On a sunny Sunday afternoon in the area chasing new publications we decided to also grab a few other caches in the area before heading home to a nicely roasting chook in the oven for our Sunday night dinner! MrsNZT was the driver and pulled into a nearby lane, only to discover it was a private road, got a few curious looks from the locals while performing a 12(!) point turn out of the road, MrNZT made the find and had to run further up the road to catch his ride! TFTC!
On tour in NZ! To safe time and space we signed with CG3 ( caching girls 3)!

Nice easy park and find. Kids loved the horse baby in the near field. Cache intact
#1921. Yay, finally a cache find after three DNF's in a row. Did check on wrong side of the road first before noticing my GPS was pointing to the other side. Instant find in the second place checked. Signed the logbook in the car as a few muggles were walking down the road. Once they had gone I replaced cache as found. Thanks for hiding it here.
Needing a cache to continue our current streak - we are aiming for 50 days and this is day 45 - this was one of our closest unfound caches. A nice quick find here with darthcacher1 and purply.
Having driven from Greenhithe and dropped off the Mustang for its WOF at Drury Auto Services, we thought since we were in the neighbourhood it would be an ideal time to locate some caches.
Hmmmm. Should have been more careful when reading this one. Had to make like a chicken and cross the road. Mushy log.
Tried to avoid muffles driving past by pretending that I was tying my shoe lace, then after they passed I quickly grabbed the cache
Out with 3-girls today, collecting a few local caches. This took us a while, as I had thought we were supposed to be on the other side of the road. Found easily once on the right side. It was in a puddle, and although the container had a bit of water in it, log wasn't too bad, a bit wet, but write able. Zipped up well in its snaplock bag, and replaced as clear of the water as we could while still making sure it was hidden.
Found with my Mum, NewlynFam. Have now created my own account so am logging all finds I was present at and helped with.
We also found this one while out with our friends, 3-girls as we were introducing them to geocaching. It took us a while, because we were looking in the wrong spot at first!

Either our eyes are painted on or we were in the wrong place but we had no luck here and when the rain started again we abandoned the search as Mr S was getting a little too wet and needed to be presentable for his meeting in the evening. Have another go some other time.
Thanks anyway MarMis for taking us there. Interesting concept.

Another easy find, don't know what all the fuss is about, should be no DNF's here!
Grew up here on this farm and church and school, since taking up geocaching and realising there is a cache there, I have told my family who live there what it is all about. They had always wondered why people stop there and secretly search by the side of the road! Now they know, cachers don't need to worry about muggles as they will leave it alone and probably say hi not being suspicious now they know what people are up to haha
Afternoon out with Doandhopers and Godfreyh. Had DNF previously, but today was a quick find. Need to cross this one off the list, as I attend the school opposite, starting tomorrow.
After I don't know how many times times, FINALLY can cross this one off the wanted list. Been all over the place, both sides of the road, and yet today Kittycat432 just put hands on it and came up the goods.
Good that she found it, considering she attends the school through the fence.

A Dot Day... The mission for today: find mid-level D Rated caches. Gap (of Fap and Gap) and I are heading to South Auckland. Everything in between is fair game... Our main targets are Marmis' Challenge Caches (the ones we've qualified for). However, as we were driving through the countryside, we discovered others where we also met the target...
After a DNF down the road, we moved onto this one. I must have been single-minded here, because I don't recall seeing the church. This one was quickly found... TFTC.

Out in South Auckland today to gather some puzzle finds and requirements for our GIO licence challenge.
A quick drive-by cache before we headed on to our next find for the day! Thanks for the hide.

My 4th try for this one. It is the first time it has been clear of lots of people. Pleased to have finally been able to get it.
Just arrived in Auckland to attend a wedding, also tme to find a few caches.
The weddig is overs, so up early to find the caches close to the motel where we were staying.
Thanks for placing this cache MarMis

2.50pm - Found on other side.........Had to take cache for a drive and wait for several muggles to leave as they were very suspect about what we're doing. Finally got it back to its hiding place. SLTFTC
Cache full of water, tipped out and dried as best as I could, log damp but not ruined.
