Discovered this was burnt after we stopped the car and got out....enjoyed a meeting with two young ladies "manning" the stop/go. Had quite a sobering chat with them about the disastrous fire....not we are used to in Enzed....and that from a rural fire mans perspective...hopefully the cache gets reinstated at some stage and the area gets back to something like normal.
Visited this cache to replace but too much muggle activity nearby so will have to come again another day.
I did however find the burnt remnants of the previous cache so it is definitely not there any more

Althought the SWH has been reopened, there is still no access allowed to the town of Yarloop after the recent fires. Manned road blocks are positioned at every entrance. I would keep this one disabled until the townsite has been reopened.
Disabled to remove unnecessary traffic into the area and until I can assess damage from bush fires - if any
Plenty of room to pull in but the traffic is quite busy. Managed to get a quiet spot and make the find. Thanks WA K Team
With thanks for the cache from Angus the great GeoWestie and his Carer wo are grey (and white) nomads currently travelling in, and enjoying, WA.
Another quick grab. TFTC. Tor and Betsy, the travelling Westies roaming WA at present. We are from Oxenford near the Gold Coast in Queensland and thoroughly enjoying the West.
After a massive week of caching, I still came up short of my target of 300 caches for the month. I decided to duck out today and hopefully grab the 60 odd remaining caches before returning to the Pilbara and work later on in the week. Found in the first place I looked. TFTC WA K Team
WA K Team, I found your cache Bries Waroona Wander - Yarloop Steam Workshop on 21/09/2015 12:32 pm. This is my find #1902 and #33 today.

Time to have a day out doing a caching run on a cool, sunny winter’s day, exploring the areas between Southwest Highway down to Yarloop and the Peel Inlet! Easy find, the cache was at the bottom, think it needs more staying power!!!
Looks a fascinating place but we had several more to do so couldn't stay. Good hint!
After a great weekend in Busselton for the WA Goes Big in 2015 Event it was time to head home. We had brought two cars down so I was free to cache my way back to suburbia on my own, free of the groans from the muggle wife and daughter.
A pleasant five hour drive picking up some WAGB Arrows, knocking off a blank in the 'Well Travelled Cacher Challenge' (GC3TR3M) and working towards the 'WA Rural Towns Challenge' (GC4GK4Q). Still beat the missus home by two and a half hours, I think there may have been some country shopping on the way for them.
Stopped in here in the hope of a quick grab. Took a bit longer than expected as previous pic led me a little astray. Easier to spot from the other side of the fence though.

The 16th cab of the rank on our drive to WA Goes Big in Busselton, she had already found some of these but too good an opportunity to miss out while we had the time. Nice little detour here!
Thanks for this clever hide WA K Team

Checked this out on a maintenance run.
Removed old logs and junk. All good to go.
Enjoy

TFTC. SL. Down south for the long weekend. Stopped after visiting the museum in Yarloop
We've been meaning to catch up with more of the Yarloop caches and today is the day. So we have a quick find here although not expecting to find it where we did. Not a sneaky hide at all!!

An easy find this one thanks to the clue. another great piece of history here.
HHH and Ms HH pulled up and bolted out of the car without telling junior HHs what was going on. GPS going all over the place but hint used and HHH found it fast.
Left the Mandurah area, to continue south on our trip around Australia.
After picking up a few caches in Yarloop, we headed for Harvey for an overnight stay.
This is the last one of this series, which we had to guess the number, to complete the final.
Cache was in good condition.
Thanks for the cache, WA K Team.

We are over on holidays from South Australia. Caching is always on the to do list while we are out & about. We were on our way to Harvey today to see "The Big Orange" then off to our friends in Lake Clifton. We had a lovely day out today touring Western Australia. What beautifully made steam models. We enjoyed seeing these on our way to Harvey. Next time we are over on holidays we will be taking a day trip to this place. Thanks for bringing us here. TFTC

Quick find en-route to netball carnival in Fremantle. 17th cache for the August challenge.
This cache is apparently on private property. Relocation should be considered...
Found @ 11:51!
Find #20 on a caching day with 'Amryall' and 'Kyzabra' to complete some of the caches along the South Western Highway!
I have driven past here a number of times before and always wanted to check the object out to satisfy my interest in all forms of steam engine! Never got the chance to get any decent photos, but this time I could snap to my heart's content (although we were quite pushed for time)...
Very nice Kangaroo's Paws flowering on the opposite side of the road!
At a later cache, I heard part of the conversation (mentioned in the log by 'Amryall') with a local who mentioned this was on private property and should be relocated... If I heard correctly, I believe the white fence is the boundary?

Headed out today with Amyrall and Geology boy to pick up the recently released additions to the SWH series, and also some surrounding caches along with planting a few new ones.
Was a great day out and we had a 100% find rate. Very pleasing.
Having just finished the SWH section, we decided to make a start on the Brie Waroona Wander series.

Out for a planned quick dash and (hopefully) grab with Geology boy and Kyzabra.
What resulted was a cruise down the highway looking and luckily finding everything we stopped for!
Started our run at Pinjarra heading south with priority being the SWH series but also any others that were en route as well.
When arriving at GZ we saw the obvious but daunting area to search. Made the find quick enough, mission accomplished!
This was an easy find for us today and keen to finish this little series too!
Log was signed and replaced and we were back on our way.
Thanks for causing us to come and search!
**INFORMED LATER BY A LOCAL THAT THIS IS LOCATED JUST INSIDE PRIVATE PROPERTY SO WILL NEED ATTENTION FROM CO TO RELOCATE NOT FAR AWAY ON PUBLIC LAND.**
