First find of the day on road trip back home after long weekend away. Thanks for the side trip.
yeha, found this at last, i used to go past this every day.. i like geocaching... the places it takes you and the things you find...lol
Had looked for it before (unsuccessfully), this time it was easy to find so not sure where it was last time. TFTC
No again, muggles I suspect, found some nice hiding places and a broken mint tin lid with black tape on it. Blenheim Bear

Cache hunting in the Eastern Bay today. Its been a while since I ventured out this way. In my absence, there seems to have been a mini run of new caches...
This was a former DNF, so I was keen to have a crack at it. On arrival, there was a van and occupant parked nearby... but she appeared to be none the wiser. I circled the Taniwha once and noticed an oddity. It turned out to be the cache. A very quick find today, and I'm grateful that it has been replaced and reactivated. TFTC and the clever hide.

More by good luck than good management but found it nevertheless.well done,a favourite from me.
Something really is Fishy
Couldn't understand why people were finding this cause when I went to have a look it was certainly gone so i Disabled listing.
Decided to do another check and guess what 'it was back ' so.. have replaced the battered container and log sheet.
Good Luck

No problems finding this one - it really is there. Great sculpture. TFTC!!!
Cache is still there and ready to be found. Tape is coming unstuck though. Quick and easy find on the way back to Auckland from an epic 4WDing weekend with Greenblat, FMZ and KiwiLeon. TFTC!
Found together with FunkyMunkyZone Mike-miss & KiwiLeon. Found mint tin with log, no lid, and someone has eaten all the peppermints. T4TC
Out with FMZ, GreenblAt and mike-miss after our epic 4WD adventure up the Kereu River and Waiti River.
No problems with the find, although the lid is missing. Content is still dry.

nearly gave up on this one but just needed to look a bit harder and it revealed itself.
Couldn't be bothered with a thorough search on this one. Just hoped that something would present. Will probably need the co to visit.
Took some family out to introduce them to the joys of Geocaching. Let them have a really good look, but they had no luck. As I had found this before, had a look myself.
Cache is missing!!! Cache holder is still there thou.

Nearly gave up on this one then .. there it was. Reading the past logs I was ready to put a new piece of paper in but someone has added a piece of notepaper as a log. The cache container needs replacing as it does not really seal up, but the new log is still dry, and the old log can be opened and read. Great structure that drove me mad for 10 minutes. TFTC.
Great hide even greater beach sculpture. Contents are very damp and mouldy. TNLN
Knew how to search these structures after finding similar objects at National Park and Raurimu. Thanks but the log book is full
The container was very difficult to find. Fortunately I am quite tall and was able to see part of it "deep" in it's hiding spot. I am not surprised the person who made the last entry could not find it. The log is mouldy and very damp. TFTH
Interesting sculpture, found quite easily once I had analysed the clue. TFTC

Due to the lack of info We weren't sure what to do here. We took a pic with the cache as that is what we thought to do. Please let us know what and where it was as we had a good look and no go.
Great to get to see these works of art. Found after a short search. Needs a new log & a new plastic bag. TFTC
11.55am. Just arrived in the caravan park so walked along the dune path before lunch. Found in 10 seconds which may have been a fluke!
Thank you. David and Noeline.
Thank you. David and Noeline.
thanks for taking me to this driftwood display. caching partner granitrose fished this cache out.
Very impressive hide. We loved the poles and the drift wood fish. Found a tiki during our search and maybe a bird nest! So pathtag and tiki in. PINO TFTC
This was a pretty cool one. Thanks for introducing me to a sculpture I've never seen, even though I live just up the road!
Magnificient piece of beach art. Have attended the competitions at New Year a few times to admire the creative talents. TFTC
Logging in January 2013. Had found this last summer in January 2012 but seems to have dropped out of my logged caches for some reason. So redoing it now.
Found with Mr Chillipips in the dark using cellphone light - knew it was going to be tricky but thoroughly enjoyed not only finding it in this fantastic hide, but the whole sculpture! Will have to call back another time to really appreciate its construction, but what a great place for a cache. Really well done. Would love to know more about the construction of the sculpture. Visited some TBs and coin too large for the container. TFTC

Great hide!! Looked and looked and looked. Took a while but finally found. Thanks
7594 Nice sculpture, awesome camo, blends in very well, The General up north would be proud of your efforts, well done and many thanks.
Didn't find it last time with muggles close by but with the help of another brain sorted it out. TFTC
This cache catches your Eye (really clever sculpture) looking, looking , looking. Tricky hide, but worth the extra time. We just couldn't leave without a find. thanks.
16:40 Took a bit of a fishing expedition to find this one. Xmuggle's youthful pursuits helped landing it. Cheers, GC
Excellent cache --- and the friends who were with us got a real surprise when one of them found it almost by accident!!
Thank you for the fun, Ymana!!
Thank you for the fun, Ymana!!
I have deleted a log from this date by willbuild. He has been logging finds on the computer but not the actual log. I have asked for calification of his visit but had no answer - couch caching ?
Very quick find , almost the first place I looked, Great views up and down the coast.
Found it and reminded me of a similar wood sculpture representing a kiwi in National Park settlement and the same principle for the cache, so knew more or less what to look for. Nice work though.
